The first truck had some severe issue with the body and I had to return it after driving 1 mile. The second truck was mechanically sound but so filthy that once night came, it was extremely hard to see out of the windshield. The staff were friendly and polite.

It would be great if the location worked with Uhaul to offer extended rentals on their moving trucks. For many people 24 hours is not enough time, and Uhaul should value the customer over profit and allow extended rentals instead of just pushing their U-pods. I need a rental for 29 hours, not multiple days.

Scheduled pick up online. Got no confirmation call. Went to pick up equipment at designated time and was told no trucks were available. Had to wait an additional hour for a truck to be ready. In addition, they didn't have the correct information about my requested truck size, even though my online account information was correct.

Radfordt at the 1300 Belmont Ave store provided great customer service from rental pick-up to drop-off!! When I was returning the truck, two customers ahead of me were refusing to wear masks. Radfordt calmly reasoned with them and encouraged them to go down the street to purchase a mask. They gave him a hard time and he persisted, holding his ground, to keep the rest of us customers safe. I truly appreciated his efforts, in-light of the highly contagious COVID pandemic. I can imagine how hard it must have been for Radfordt to advocate for our safety given the rude and ignorant nature of the unmasked patrons.

When I called Uhaul, I was not informed that the storage facility at the same location matches prices with other storage facilities. So I rented from another facility, which was less convenient. Please inform your customers of storage price matching.

The lady at the front desk as well as the gentleman in the office were both very professional and helpful! Location is convenient and everything is so clean and nice! Just pulling up to the place, you will get the feeling it's going to be a great experience and the individuals that work there really care to make things easy for you:) thank you to those that work at the compass location!

Excellent staff. But the pricing and the overall quality of this place needs major improvement. There's no way customers should be responsible for scrapes and dents on a vehicle that is primarily used for moving items that are both heavy and cumbersome. I think staff should also be in uniforms without head phones in there ears. It's incumbent upon staff to be engaging and interested in patrons.

With all of the rentals that uhaul does How can they not have a mileage log for each vehicle "How is that possible???)Granted i picked up truck and didnt check mileage until i brought it back but on my invoice 74000 On the truck 46000 mi according to this Uhaul owes me $33,600.00 How can there be a a 30,000+ mileage difference Smh

This was my first personal U-haul rental in decades! I reserved a larger truck than the one I actually rented, but the person before me didn't return the truck on time. Amber accommodated me with a smaller unit and a favorable adjustment to my contract. Her kindness could not have come at a better time- during my move from hell.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Your website, on the other hand, couldn't find my location and wouldn't let me return the truck. Thankfully the staff was still at the dropoff site (after hours) and helped me.

This company charged my card triple the amount than what my reservation was. I will not be returning to this location. Then never got a phone call back regarding my situation. So if I don't get it fixed I will be snapping on somebody at the store.

The staff was rude and unhelpful. They essentially blamed me for their technology not working and refused to answer my question about how much additional mileage would cost. The conversation felt hostile. Staff did not walk me through the vehicle to make sure that I knew how to operate it and felt safe.

The employee was not friendly or helpful in preparing our truck. She gave the keys and pointed at the truck and ran back inside. She didn't bother to check to make sure everything was working properly or explain any of the info that was stuck to the wall. I believe UHaul does not give any effort into customer service training.

This was the worst experience i have ever received. I will never rent another U-haul in the future. You have lost a consistent customer for terrible customer service. The truck was filthy and the gas gague or the condition of the truck was never verified by the associate and me as the customer. They claim that the gas was less when how can they even ascertain that info when they never inspected the truck at anytime while signing it out .I am looking for my refund of the gas portion that was mischarged. The first call approved it that I made and there has been no communication or refund with me for 2 in half months. I keep calling and no one responds. I now want a complete refund on everything. I am in the hotel business and customer service is very important to us and your customer service is very poor. My next set of reviews will be posted on several other sites if this is not rectified shorty. Thanks Jeff Sands 856-745-7355

My reservation was cancelled, and wasn't given any explanation as to why. Although the young lady at the front desk did get me a truck from a person that had just returned one, but to have my reservation canceled with no notice was a problem. I arrived a few minutes past my pick up time because of traffic, & had to wait another 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Smh.

It is always a pleasure to rent from Compass Self Storage at 1300 Belmont Ave. Whenever I rent from this location the customer service is impeccable! The staff are all very welcoming and personable. The two young ladies at the front desk are very precise and detailed with the information and instructions regarding the UHAUL rental process. This location has always made sure that the trucks are clean and ready to go with or without a reservation. If they do not have vehicles available they assist you in finding other locations that can accommodate your needs. I will definitely recommend Compass Self Storage to all of my family and friends.

the inside of the box was filthy - including mouse droppings. the gasket which secured the windshield started flapping as soon as the truck hit 30 MPH; I had to pull over and pull the hanging porting into the truck cab and close the door on it.

My only issue is the blankets were in the back of the truck, where they should have been when I picked the truck up, and even though I was alone and using a cane, I was asked to climb into the truck and get the blankets myself.
