I live in Hockley so I called and explained to the nearest store that I purchased a washer and dryer $300.00 from some people in Kingwood. I explained again what I needed the truck for when I got there. I told the lady I would also need a dolly. She pointed to the an appliance dolly and said you will need an appliance dolly. I didn't even know there were special dollies for appliances, so I said, that is an appliance dolly and the lady said yes, and I said yes I need one of those. I saw they had plenty of them. She continued to fill out application. When she was done she said everything was done and handed me the keys. I drove 60 miles to Kingwood to pick up the washer and dryer and opened the back door to find there was no dolly and no ramp! I called the store I made the rental from and they told me that my contract said I did not order a dolly and that box trucks do not have ramps. Not everyone in the world knows that box trucks don't have ramps! I surly didn't! Because there was no dolly and no ramps I could not load the washer and dryer and take it home. So I had to pay a friend $200.00 to pick up the washer and dryer to take to my house. What should have been $460.00 ended up $660.00!

My paperwork showed this address as the drop off location. They said they don't take trailers but they would take care of it for me. Now I have $60 in fees for wrong drop off location.

Older white woman (BBMound) I believe is her name. Least that's the signature on my receipt. She never mentioned her name so I'm unsure. However she was NOT very helpful or friendly. Poor customer service. Will NEVER go back to this location.

The rubber door seal , on the drivers side,, as lose and fell off during the day.. Could not adjust mirrors. Using the uhaul application was a nightmare! After accepting the id photo it would not let me take a picture of my licence. I called customer service . So what does a wrong phone number have to do with a drivers licence? I am a senior citizen

I reserved a truck a week in advance. Wanted to start my move at 8, office didn't open until 9. Tried to used the app and was severely disappointed. Delayed my move by 1.5 hours. I'm 58 and had to enter my 1963 birthday 58x12 months = 700 clicks because there is no way to type it. The app would never accept my reservation number from my email. I had called uhaul corporate mid-week and was told the app would work at the location on the day. It didn't. Otherwise, the employees were very helpful and the truck performed as expected.

The appliance dolly was missing a pad on one of the vertical rails and the cross plate weld was broken on one side. Some trucks have a bracket for securing the dolly, but mine did not.

The employees were short and unhelpful. When the door of the truck jammed while I was inspecting it they refused to fix it. They handed me a crowbar and stated I I would have to pry it loose. Even though there were three employees and no other customers there. By the time I got the door unjammed and got into the truck to check the millage and gas, I noticed that the gas message said 40 miles until empty. The paperwork stated the truck had a quarter of a tank. When I tried to go to the link to correct this it had expired. I guess I took to long unjamming the door. The lady who gave me the truck said that if I did not put any corrections in the link then tough. I was stuck with it.

I went to go check in and the lady said i do not know if we have room to accept your truck. I told her it is in a spot already. She said i guess we are going to take it then. I told her my problems and that i even have a furniture hand truck in the back that I did not order. She asked me if I could go get it. She did not check the vehicle in or inspect because she had to check in over 20 vehicles.

The pickup and drop off were very confusing. The location on my phone couldn't find me for awhile, trouble locating the truck, the alternate phone person didn't work and gave us no instruction. I would change that process!!

The staff is directing customers to use the app to process a rental , which would be fine except when an issue arises which they then explain they can't help because the order was done online so we have to contact the online customer service. The irony is that their lack of desire to perform their job description will lead to their eventual replacement by technology.Sad in deed .

The ladies experienced some computer issues doing my visit and there were several customers waiting. Both representatives maintained their professionalism and did not allow a stressful situation to impact meeting the needs of the customers. Excellent job and kudos to the U-Haul representatives behind the counter.

The lady at the desk who assisted me - began confrontational because we traveled 3 hours, terrible accident on hwy10 and arrived late for a RESERVED UHAUL pick up - she stated, “ I am not scolding you for being late - well I am scolding you a little bit- you SHOULD have communicated to me” I am in customer service YOU NEVER SCOLD A CUSTOMER.

U-haul didn't not deliver their truck to the original pickup location (flower mound Cypress) costing me almost an hour of my time. Furthermore they didn't have a dolly at this location even though I reserved one. The staff at this one were helpful however and helped me to secure a larger truck when I felt that I needed one

Front tire passenger side was de inflated (28psi), approached front desk, said there was nothing they could do. Asked me to go to a gas station, inflate tire myself and request refund from U-HAUL. I needed the rental so I went to get tire inflated to spec (70 psi).

I was contacted at approximately 5:45 pm by this location, the night before I was scheduled to pick up my truck and dolly, so they could tell me they do not have a dolly. They closed at 6 pm...along with the majority of other locations in my area. The other locations that were not closed did not have a dolly. This required that I rent a dolly from a College Station location for two days because I could not rent a dolly "one-way" from that location. Why would you wait until the evening of the night before to check your reservations? If you, Uhaul, are going to allow other people to handle business for you I would think you would want them to perform in a way that represents your company well. Also, I had to cancel the moving service I hired the first time and get another one because the first company did not contact me after I tried contacting them to verify the reservation.
