The truck was provided to me nearly empty of gasoline. Paperwork showed 1/4 of a tank, but the gas level was clearly below that line. The biggest problem was the truck was very obviously not really safe to drive. Driving over 30 mph felt like going over endless speed bumps. I was worried the truck was going to break down the entire time. The worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul.

Our reservation was moved to this location, which was about 30 miles from where we needed it. Too far off the beaten path for our needs.

Have the correct truck and Dolly available at the pick up location. Also don’t charge your customer additional if their reservation was not able to be filled. I reserved a 10 foot truck with a two wheel tow behind dolly. However when I arrived I had to pay for a 15 foot truck and a four wheel tow behind dolly. I hadn’t budgeted for those upgrades nor did I think I was forced to pay for them, but my car broke down and I did what I had to do. Letting your customers know to familiarize themselves on how to hitch up a dolly to the back of your rental trucks I got no printed off information there was no one there to help me I did it all via YouTube. The truck was disgusting. It consumed all of my items with the odor of cigarette smoke. Mud covered almost 80% of the floor surfaces. It looks like a child was left unattended in the vehicle due to the crayon marks fingerprints and sticky substances throughout the cabin.

I took the U-Haul back for the drop off with a 1/4 of a tank of gas. Guy takes the truck keys and says I’ll take care of it for you. I get an email stating I’ve been charged $21 due to only having an 1/8 of a tank of gas. I did take a picture of the gas tank before leaving the vehicle. I will dispute the charges and show my proof , but I would not recommend anyone to go to Combs for a U-Haul or a car.

After hours drop off was very easy. The lot is large and open access at both ends for drive through capability. Well lit area and was easy to park in an out of the way spot.

This rental was my third uhaul rental this year, first and last time using this location. With past rentals I had help hooking the trailer to my truck, no assistance given or did they verify my hitch. Trailer was dirty, grass and straw in the back. When I stopped to let them know about how dirty it was, her comment was they wouldn’t charge for the dirt. I told her I just wanted to let them know how dirty, because I was returning the trailer the same way.

The truck was filthy. The back had gravel, mud, and shelled corn of all things. The truck was a disgrace. We had to clean it before we could put our furniture in it. The back was also infested with spiders. We killed at least 20 spiders. Worst experience ever.

Either the U-Haul system was having trouble, or the person at this location was having trouble. She tried for almost 45 minutes to run my credit card & couldn't do it. I finally had to pay by check. This "performance" is totally unacceptable. I've never had this bad of a situation with U-Haul.

The service we received at Combs Auto Sales was awesome. However, the experience itself with Uhaul online service and the New Circle Road location in Lexington was no desirable...Had it not been for Mr. Combs making sure we had all we needed, Uhaul would not be on our list of companies to use when we need to self-move.

The associate that helpd me with my reservation over the phone was excellent. I would hope that you pass this on the that person. Very patient. Worked hard to find a truck for me on a Sat.Afternoon. Didn't mind comparing rates one way Nd round trip. I originally reserveda truck with Budget who overbooked their trucks. Your associate restored my faith in the rental business. U-Haul is the only way to go!

There were bugs inside the trailer and my husband had to spray it for fear of infesting our things. We also had to pay a pest control to spray our new home as we saw a few inside after moving..this was disgusting and we were very upset about this matter..we contacted the place we rented it from and complained,

Somehow my reservation got changed from a 14 ft truck to a 17 ft truck with a tow dolly. My reservation as made a month ahead of time and I also called to verify one week before the pickup. Luckily, the rep at the location contacted me to inquire about the change otherwise I would have been upset about the unauthorized change. The rep went on the hunt to find the truck I originally requested and was able to get one. Kudos to her for taking the initiative to contact me and to find the correct truck.
