It took an amount of time to get the van while everything had been already set online, the cargo bay wasn't as clean as I expected and there was a strange smell inside the car, the wheel alignment of the car should be fixed for more comfortable driving

William A.Never got the truck I paid for. Location closed way earlier than advertised operation hours. Never put the key in a lockbox, gave no instruction. Customer service was awful as well, promised me a refund but I still got charged $50 for a truck I never used. This location is negligent and uhaul head office isn't any better.
Miruna M.I did not get a key for 2 hours from my booking time and the app wouldnt let me check the vehicle. I dont think combat auto was to blame as they were ultimately helpful in providing me access to the vehicle. They had issues communicating with uhaul head office.

Nicole M.Combat should not be a UHAUL dealer. When it was time to leave, the battery light was on and the person asked me to tell another location I had to go to pick furniture pads he did not have for us to give me another truck if the light was still on. So irresponsible and I can`t believe it was not dealt with before we were ready to go. I was told to go and pick up my truck there 2 days before my date which was not the location I chose when I booked. Sure enough, when I explained the situation at the East Drive location, they had no truck for us even if the lot was full of them and we were told to go all the way to Oakville with the UHAUL with the battery light on. We did not accept that. Then, they called roadside assistance. It would have taken 90 minutes to get there. Finally, Hannah after over an hour, asked for the truck to be taken in the shop to change the battery. True story! We still can`t believe what we had to go through just because Combat did not do what needed to be done by not getting ready a safe truck. I want to call out Hannah who after not looking for solutions at first, really helped solve the issue in the end.
Louis C.Side mirrors were jammed and could not be adjusted. Very unsafe to drive, I almost had an accident. This location did not do any safety check before renting vehicle. Very unsatisfied with the service. Gracias

DAVIDANTHONY R.I had a bad experience with U-Haul (not the agent). I had booked U-Haul 15" truck for 9am-9pm. When I went there to pick up around 11am, I was surprised to see that it was given to another customer by mistake (sort of illegal). The agent said it's U-Haul fault (the agent belong to a car service store, not a U-Haul store) and it shouldn't be given to a wrong customer. He also said that he tried to reach me but unable to - I didn't receive any call. He could have sent email, I check emails regularly. The agent tried to help me by talking to the customer but the customer didn't budge in. So, I had to reschedule (to pick up at 3pm) my entire plan which really was painful. The agent was kind, there is no issue. But I am giving this rating for my bad experience with U-Haul but not with the agent.

ASHWIN R.There is no semblance of customer service I got mis information and then I was just told to go online to setup my reservation where it was unclear as to how long the rental was for until you get your confirmation email. Then I called customer service there was no empathy or understanding for what I had experienced just reciting the policy as if they were a robot and no attempt to make a bad situation better, just made the experience worse. U Haul is living of its name clearly doesn't care about its customers or how they serve them. Their one night stand wham bam thank you mam philosophy of customer service is outdated and ridiculous. I will never use U Haul for Anything ever again!!!
wayne P.Uhaul screwed up big time. The booking time was 8am and the location does not open till 9am. This is totally unacceptable as well as the compensation of $50.

Stephen C.Everything was good. I'd recommend in general that the ordering website is updated to better know which sites and which vehicles are available for mobile pickup or pickup on Saturdays. Since pricing is by distance, I'd like to be able to book at my local location vs. A location that is +5-10km away. Otherwise I'm quite happy with u-haul and will use your services again in the future... and recommend to others. Thanks for the update on my billing, I really appreciate the adjustments based on my double billing concern.
