Our 5 X 8 trailer had alot of small rocks and dirt in the corners, which I swept out once we opened it at the location where we used it at. I also swept it out before I returned it also. We never opened it before leaving. Not knowing where the office for U-Haul is, there uhaul trailers are near the road. U-Haul office is in back left. They have other business and it's everywhere close to the trailer office you have to enter. Maybe just bigger signs for those of us that have never used this location. I liked that a man did come out & hooked it up, we did double check it was done correctly before we left. But that was first time I've used a U-Haul service and this was done. I can see benefit for someone if they hadn't towed/ used U-Haul trailers before. Next this doesn't have anything to do with this location but when I used self check it IN, 2X I got to part where I had to take photo of inside and then online it take me out & I'd have to start over. This was consuming, I had great service and couldn't figure out why it did this ( kick me out of online check in) this process def added alot of stress & undue time that wasn't necessary. I have had this same problem with checking in online with other U-Haul rentals in last 6 mo's - year with same online site.

2 hrs late, maggots, roaches, engine was bad. Created a nightmare for us. 5 days later and 8 calls to customer service, and 2 field managers begging for my $ back, still no resolution.

A better maintained roadway/parking lot and a drop box when closed

Pit of the world. Cramped, no place to return truck, huge ruts in road. Overcharged on gasoline. I filled it to the level I received it. Very upset with that. I had a return location one mile from my destination, but had to return the truck 11 miles out of my way. I'll probably go with a different truck rental with my next load.

This was not the fault of the pick up site but Uhaul changed our reservation details at the last minute (changing pick up location and truck size) and sent us to this location when it was closed! They were very helpful on the phone - helping us unlock the truck on the lot and take it - but it is far from our desired pick up location of Knoxville

Despite reservation for equipment of 10' and tow dolly 3 miles from daughters apartment, received a phone call day prior to pick up that equipment was not available anywhere in Knoxville area. In order to get anything all that was available (despite reservation) was a 15' 45 MILES AWAY!! I understand the little box that says equipment may be different but this was ridiculous ….why bother making a reservation if it is not going to be honored because NUMEROUS local facilities rented out what we needed (after traveling several miles myself to come and move my daughter on a set time line). Again - what is the point of a reservation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Facility we ended up driving 45 minutes to - lady was very nice and helpful - understanding and accommodating. So they are definitely NOT by complaint. My complaint is the reservation process and lack of honoring and the original facility holding the equipment for us that was originally reserved!!!

I called the place and could never talk to anyone, so after 3 tries I left a message requesting an 8ft open trailer. I left my name and phone number but never received a call back. I called on Thursday requesting the trailer for pickup on the following Tuesday and the only trailer they had was a 9' with ramp which cost me extra money. When I told the lady in the office i had left a message on Thursday requesting the 8' trailer she told me all they had was the 9 footer, but I could go down the street 15 miles to another uhaul dealer.. I needed a trailer at that time for the day. so I took the 9 footer. They also had problem loading my drivers license to the application. I probably won't use them again if I need a trailer.

They wouldn't even come out to help me unhook the trailer. They said to just drop it and they would check it in later. They didn't check it in until the next day and charged me for an extra day even though I turned it in on time. I have left two voicemails requesting a refund and haven't heard back.

Everything about location was good. My problem happened dealing with Uhaul overall. I called u-haul to get a truck. I would be talking to one rep and she would go off to find out information and then another rep would get on the phone and say what we were told by the first rep was wrong and she would set us up with something else. Even after the rental was set, it was wrong. The days were wrong and the time of pick up was wrong. Honestly, I don't know how they stay in business. If it wasn't for Coles Towing, everything would have been a mess.
