Service was great, simple, and much appreciated. The auto transport does need some minor repair. The rubber strap for holding the fender up on the driver's side is broken and the fender appears to need a little hammering because it hits when in the up position. The rear holder is the only one working and holding the fender up.Greg H.

They added charges for gas to my credit card and I had already purchased gas and even out it pass where they had it. Also the owner or manager hung up and hollered at me when I tried 7Lucretia M.

I was very disappointed in my service with U-haul over all but don't blame this on Cohen brothers Pawn Calumet City because they just picked up the pieces of what was already wrong with my reservation. Actually Cohen Brothers did a wonderful job. U-HAUL as a whole failed me as a customer. I had a reservation for two weeks prior to my move. Then it was changed by U-Haul 2 days before my move. My initial time was set for & 7:00 a.m. Well with this being said it was less the 1 mile from where I originally lived. With my new reservation it took me 5 miles from my location. Which I was not happy about but I did adjust my professional movers for this change. The pick-up time changed to 11:00 a.m. Well since I am proactive I was at the new location that U-Haul planned for me 10 mins before 11:00 so that my move was changed to afternoon evening. Nevertheless at this location the store owners never showed up to open the establishment. I stayed their until until 12:20 calling U-Haul very upset in regards to not being able to obtain the truck. Then please let me continue with the fact that when I called to U-Haul the person on the first call since you record them all was not accommodating in regards to I had 5 professional movers at my house waiting to start working and I'm waiting to get a truck well really that is not their concern its just as if I was not prepared for the move they are still getting paid regardless. Nevertheless U-Haul now move the reservation AGAIN from that location in Harvey, IL now to Calumet City. I hope your still with me on this journey because all of this consist of miles being used. Finally the last employee that I talked to did try to be more compassionate and understand how frustrated this whole charades was for me on this day. I just need U-Haul to understand how disappointed I was and how much money I was out paying people for hours not working because of U-Haul and extra miles being driven. I have used U-Haul for about 35 years and NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER have I had a issue such as this being connected to this kind of Service. Please contact me in regards to this matter with some compensation that would make me feel like I am a valued customer I really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. I reserved at one location(closer to my home) truck was not back from previous customer so I had to driver further away from my house at 8 months pregnant. I then wasn't coming up in the system at the new location so they had to search. I waited all together 45-50 minutes when I was supposed to have my truck at 9am! Movers had to be paid $140 extra because of uhauls bad customer service. I was not pleased having to pay these guys extra because of uhauls mistake! Will not be using this service EVER AGAIN. I would not recommend the place to anyone. I returned the truck a week ago and I had to constantly call and know one answered kept saying they were having issues and they didn't check the truck in until this morning at 9 a.m . I wouldn't ever use this service again. Very disappointedTeresa A.
