We had booked a 26' vehicle but it was too big so we switched to a 15' which was in the parking lot. The vehicle we had booked was clean but the vehicle we took had a half empty pop bottle in it and clearly had not been sanitized since the last driver. The young woman who served us was terrific and went out of her way to accommodate our request to change.Julie M.
The overall experience of renting the Uhaul was a nightmare and a fiasco. I called and booked a truck 2 weeks in advance, stating I needed Port Hope or Cobourg pick up. 3 days before pick up I'm informed I have to go to Oshawa to pick up the truck. I spoke to 4 different individuals who had a it's not my problem attitude. Until I finally spoke to Donna who was exremely helpful and found me a truck in Cobourg. I phoned and confirmed with Lori at Cobourg Goodyear. The day before my pick up date , late in the afternoon I receive a call from a different place saying I'm to pick my truck up there but have to have it back by 3 pm that same day .. again there was nothing she could do to help me as head office did this change. Sorry basically was what I got.. So I called Lori at Cobourg Good year... she had no idea this had happened . She was fabulous and got it straightened out for me and got me my truck for the original time I had booked it for... The reliability from head office is ridiculous and the attitude of the staff members needs a little work Thank you to Donna in Toronto for caring and helping and Thank you to Lori at Cobourg Goodyear for her help, support and actually caring about the customer..me!!! Moving is stressful enough and booking a truck 2 weeks in advance , there shouldn't be these issues. I will think twice about using Uhaul for anything again .. Thanks again to Donna and Lori!!! The website was a little confusing: I provided photographs of my license, then did not check the box indicating if it was an international license. The site then asked me to fill in the details of my provincial license. Maybe the international license tick box should be after the license details.Robert C.

Your online service needs improvement. It should not offer items/services not available at that location. It should not allow you to select a pick up on a day that location isn't open. Great service at the location but your online booking needs improvementJanet A.
Trailer was full of snow and ice, I had to go home and shovel it before heading to my destination. As well I had to go to another location to pick up the dolly, the whole process took almost and hour and a half before I could go pick up what I needed the trailer for.Matthew B.
Individual took more than 30 minutes to complete the transaction and although there was two pin pads to pay threw he took my credit card manually (took my credit card information down by hand pen to paper) behind the counter out of my sight.terilin M.

Therewas a lot of confusion when my email said that I was picking up a 4X8 van and not a trailer. When I called the location they said I had noreservation and that the only 4X8 traoler available was reserved(by me). I spe t a solid 20 min on the phone sorting it out to find out there was no ossue. It was a huge waste of my time.Christopher B.

You can improve on service when a customer books a certain time to pickup trailer it should be there . Also it should not be up to you to change time for pick up when customer wants it 9am you have it ready. Not at 11 or 12 it is not good , We have plans. You should work at customer service request better and not dictade whats best for you people . Thank YouRob C.
This is not a major complaint. I was able to deal with a very minor problem. But you should make sure the terminal connections on this particular vehicle are tightened correctly. I did not have the correct tool for the job or I would have done it myself. Regards...Steve AllanStephan A.

U-haul website was problematic when I picked up the trailer. We also had problems when calling other Uhaul locations -- your website was really slow. So you need to work out the kinks in your reservation system.BRIAN D.

You told me I had to get the truck an extra day early, which meant I had to get off work early to make it to Cobourg by 5 Said you would give that extra day free and extra mileage I got an email saying I am being charged for 3 days instead of 2 and the mileage was wrong by 100 km When I called to resolve this the woman tried to tell me I booked for the Thursday and Friday and not the Saturday when I originally booked Friday Saturday When I got to Cobourg they didn't even have the truck I reserved and ended up giving me someone else's truck I got halfway down the 401 Cobourg to Oshawa and coolant light came on , I was told to call head office if I wanted to get it felt with The brakes sound like they are about to fail I told the kid who took the truck back and he just brushed it under the rugJen W.
