Hans Macht“Picked up the uhaul truck, had little to no fuel in the tank so had to spend an additional amount on fuel first thing. I drove less than 20km and dash lights came on for service issues. Called uhaul, roadside assistance was 5+ hours away, had to fight the company to allow for me to return the uhaul truck instead of their preferred option which was to sit roadside for 5+ hours when the vehicle was drivable. Now I’m waiting for the business owner to refund my charge’s because uhaul also doesn’t issue refunds directly- it’s to the business owner discretion. Not using uhaul again. Poor equipment, poor customer service, no roadside assistance available for southern Alberta. Incompetent company. “

David JohansenI topped up my fuel to the same level I picked the van up at. They still charged me $10 for more fuel. I couldn’t access the app to check the van in so was charged extra. I wasn’t able to get through to customer service. I returned after hours so I didn’t deal with any staff.

Heinrich FriessenThe trailer light electrical was three pin not standard for many years it should have at least been seven pin. So we had to go buy an adapter for $20 before we could take trailer. Then this morning I get up to a $20 extra fee for not returning on time when even with having to go buy adapter we had it back by 5 and our return time was 5:45pm. The guy at the place said we would receive a text or email to return the trailer and we didn’t receive either. I took pictures and waited for either. This was not a good experience
Jody SiemensOnly complaint was the tires were extremely near replacement as they were just at the wear bars. It had little to no traction on ice and snow. And it actually limited me on where I could drive it. Please have the rear tires replaced as winter is just starting.

Warren CalderAbove & beyond customer service, really appreciated his attention to detail and his willingness to walk me through it all from delivery to return. Appreciate a good small town U-Haul location making it work. I will for sure rent from here again when the time comes.
Dennis WaltonThe rep at the Coaldale location was great. Apparently the 1800gouhaul number through which I originally booked the reservation made a reservation for me with the dolly that was already reserved, but the local rep made things work for me, thankfully.
Ty ChristiansonWe think it’s crap that we have to pay for two days we returned yesterday was a little late because the place was so busy no one could get to us right away also a bottle depot and then they tell us we have to do it online which took forever also the service was crap and probably never using you guys again in Coaldale..
Maggie BesonNot accuse customers of damage until proven it was them. Having a debit machine working so customers can get there deposit back, being a lot faster and having a nice location for it.

Normand MassicotteThe delay in returning the vehicle wasn't the receiver's fault. The delay occurred because U-haul's system wouldn't process a partial credit for returning the vehicle to a different location. I left in frustration becaus I didn't have time to wait for a solution to be found. It's unclear to me why U-Haul needs to do POS returns when a huge number of other companies can simply credit whatever credit card was used for initial payment.

Casey BunningFor some reason this was the only drop off location for my one way trip. It was 20 minutes outside of my city, when I have a location 3 minutes from my house. I was assuming the trailer needed to go to that location as he was low on stock. Quite the opposite, the poor guy had no room left and had no idea why I was told to deliver the trailer there... At current gas prices, I wasn't impressed I had to drive 40 minutes to return the trailer.

Fred StahlIt had about 3/8 of a tank of fuel. Not half full as was stated. Inside of the cube van smelt like a bottle depot.
