WINONA BThe 5x8 trailer that I rented had an issue with wiring (lights did not work properly). Luckily there was another 5x8 trailer on the lot that I was able to rent instead. Also, this location was out of stock on a wiring harness adaptor for my truck, so I had to go to another retailer to buy one. U-haul should keep these in stock. The employee was helpful and nice. In terms of dropping off the trailer near Auburn, AL, the location suggested by U-haul was closed on Saturday, requiring me to call U-haul to find another suitable location. While this was found, it was also closed (I was told that it was open until 5pm). I was instructed by another U-haul location two doors down to simply drop off the trailer and take pictures of proof that I dropped it off. I do not expect any additional fees for dropping off when business was closed, and I would like assurance that this dealer received the trailer. Darin

Merika CThe manager at this location is extremely disrespectful and dishonest. I would never recommend or rent from this location ever again. She came outside confronting me in front of customers, I had to walk away from her because she was very disrespectful and I wasn't feeling well. I will be also submitting a complaint to the better Business Bureau and the police department for fraudulent charges for her behavior. I'm asking that you do look into disciplining this person. Because she's making your company look very bad.

Marilyn WThe wasn't swept in back like noted when rented. The rep pressed for a return time because we stated we would try having the renter back the same day. The agent called me back five minutes before the scheduled return time very aggressive on when I will be back because I have five minutes before the return time. She knew I was traveling two hours away taking my granddaughter to college. I explained to her that I was running a little behind schedule because the movers hadden showed up yet to unload the van. She had said she was documenting the contarct to look like I was stealing the van. Why if I had just spoke with her and explained my situation she would want to put me in or suggest something like that to a customer when she knows the rental was not stolen
TYRONE WNeed to resolve on-line software and app issues. Lost 25 minutes on front end and never got to point needed to confirm vehicle condition. Once on app, it quit during return processing mid-stream on taking pics that were prompted.

I used a van for 2 hours and because the minimum mileage was 100 miles I had to pay an additional $69, which ended up being over $100. Just doesn't seem right.

After I showed her the screen shot as the proof of my original reservation, after some drama she let me pick up the trailer. She didn't have any idea about how to hook up the trailer. But I am not worried about it, I am familiar enough to do it myself. I have rented several U-Haul trailers in the last couple of months. So I am quite familiar about the process and the safety procedures. She was misguiding me and the new U-Haul staff or trainees with incorrect procedures at every step.
SATHEESH NAir Conditioning did not work on a July summer day with temperatures in the high 90's. Reserved moving pads - did not have them - had to drive to another location - burning up some of the free miles provided along with gasoline and time. Additionally, when returning the moving pads to the drop off location was not listed and therefore was not credited for returning the pads…

Debra mI rented a 15-foot truck and a tow dolly. On the scheduled pickup date, the truck was ready, but the dolly was not. I agreed with the local staff to take the truck to load the furniture I was moving and return the next day to pick up the tow dolly. When I returned the following day, the dolly was available, but one of the straps to secure the car wheel was chopped and shorter than the original size. After an hour of discussing the issue with the staff, they refused to acknowledge the dolly as defective and did not provide any alternative solution. In the end, I had to arrange for a second driver to drive my car from Charlotte, NC to Orlando, FL, incurring significant extra expenses. I am deeply disappointed with the service at this location.

Tadosha PCab of the truck was very clean but the graphics were severely peeling and there was a musty smell in the rear box. Staff was extremely friendly but I was improperly charged for fuel and fuel service which made a $20 rental over $200.
Brian HPlease have more than one person working. I had checked in on the app and arrived early but still waited 30 minutes to get my truck because the family in front of me asked questions at every step of the one employee and then cleared out all the moving blankets. Also, because the employee was stuck all day, I had to take a truck at 1/16 of a tank.
Brooke FI feel my charges were done wrong. I was charged 237.00 for a one way drop off from Charlotte to Winston -Salem I had the truck for 3 hours . Then I had to put 20.00 of gas in the truck I was clearly over charged, very upset with this rental
MELVIN BThey should inspect the vehicle before they rent the vehicle and equipment. They rent out the vehicle with out good condition and let customer call road side assistance to fix the problem at their location. Owner gets the job and plus he get paid from the insurance to fix the truck. They waisted 3 hours of my time.

The lady that's running this location is condensing and rude, she talks so fast you barely understand what she is saying. Please go to the Steele Creek location that is way nicer and cleaner than this piece of trash.
Sade AI can honestly say renting from uhaul was the most stressful moving experience I've ever had. I booked this move in December 2023. So I booked months In advance just to get a call the day of my move to be told the pick up location didn't have the auto transport so they were sending me to another store 20mins away to get one. I get to that store and the auto transport had a flat. So they sent me to the San Jose Blvd to get one which was 30 mins away. Which like I said the truck I was given was already on half of a tank. This was literally so stressful and i honestly didn't feel like no one cared how stressful this was because like one of the workers said "this is the end of the month so it's hetic" smh uhaul needs to do better
Yvonne N25 mile minimum truck mileage. I've used Uhaul every year to move to different apartments in the area and never had to deal with that. I drive it 10-15 miles max and to have to pay more than what I use all of a sudden is very disappointing. Never had to take a selfie before so that was odd. The dark haired lady working the desk was very matter of fact and dry. She also answered the phone while she was helping me. In customer service, the person infront of you is always priority. I was on a time limit and ran behind because of that. Si pudiera, les daría 0 estrellas.
Alichia RThe truck I rented had roaches in it. Upon discovering this I immediately called. I provided video evidence and still was provided a full refund. All I was offered was another truck. The trucks are all under trees so I'm sure that's where the roaches came from. Another truck more than likely would've had the same problem.
