Very helpful and nice service, but dirty building. No concerns, I would rent from them again. My biggest issue was with Uhaul itself. I called 3 or 4 times to get drop off locations, with questions Etc and had to wait a minimum of 10 to 12 minutes each time.

Granny's attic was damaged and a small leak was notice later. Notified Clearwater Rental Center to add to rental agreement a day after truck pickup. Was very happy with response and understanding that I did not damage vehicle.

The deal was, I was supposed to be refunded for the time I didnt use the uhaul. I rented in for a week and needed it for a day. When I returned it I was charged the full price. An awesome side note, the windshield wipers were trashed, I had to stop on the side of the highway to let rain pass as I couldn't see.. anyway.. as i was saying. The drop off location said that authorized resellers of uhaul do this so they can get the guaranteed money at full rate. He went into this big story about how I have to come back on Monday and talk to a manager because the original store tried to screw me (and them) over. This is ridiculous. I dont care what inner working business your stores have. To tell me one thing (uhaul corporate) on the phone, and the reseller (in their tin roof pole building of a shop) and then find out thats not the case by the uhaul store is hilarious. You have one job. Be better at it.

First I reserved a 26 foot truck and was called by uhaul and told they had none close by but would offer me a 20 foot truck plus bump me up to 100 miles for the inconvenience, I wasn't happy because it ment more trips.. second I was told I could save 40 bucks by returning it to the Clearwater location so who wouldn't to save money, well when I got there they were closed so I went on line and returned it even though it said the return was in Becker? There system asked me for my location so I figured I was ok locked it up and left. Well a half hour after I got home Becker was asking me were the truck was, I explained what I was told and she was a little crabby with me about it but said she would call uhaul corporate she never called back...so figuring now I must be done with this but NO 2 hours later uhaul corporate calls me and I explain it to her right down to the inconvenience of a smaller truck, mileage increase and the money savings by returning it to Clearwater. She understood why I would do it to save money and didn't have a problem. I then ask her what exactly is this going to cost me and she tried to avoid it but at this point I'm really irritated and demand an answer in a nice way but letting her know I'm really tired of this, she then told me it would be 39.99 ok done deal.. But no then they call a few hours later again, I refused to answer. Well then I get the bill and it was only a savings of 8 dollars and I got charged for mileage REALLY if I would have known it was going to go like this I would have told them to keep the 40 bucks I was supposed to save and drop it off in Becker. Instead I wasted over an hour of my time and for what 8 bucks. I'll never rent from uhaul again, web site is horrible and NO ONE knows what the hell is going on.....

For starters, have the rental ready and in working order. Don't ask the customer to drive 20 miles back the way they came from, so they can pick up a spare tire because the trailer had a flat which wasn't inspected before I got there.
