The attendant was not very knowledgeable or helpful with questions about towing, etc. Also, the wiring extension on the trailer has an exposed/frayed ground wire. It blew several fuses, resulting in a loss of trailer lights, before I could isolate the problem.David H.

The van was in rough shape mechanically with all kinds of dashboard warning lights and sounds. Your customer service is horrendous and rude. And I never got a call back from any management nas promised after remaining on hold for several hours, then getting cut off after holding so long.ROLYNDA Q.

The person in the store was super nice but not trained on what to do with uhaul rentals. She called several people who did not respond. I finally said I was going to hook up the trailer while she tried to find someone. When I returned she had someone on the phone so we had to go over contact info, emergency contacts, etc. over the phone. It was very hard to understand him due to a bad connection. He then told me that my drivers license number was invalid and it is not. I had to repeat 4 times that it was from another state and then he finally told me to â€˜give the phone to the girl.' She looked at my license and validated it. After about 45 minutes or more and no help hooking up the 6x12 trailer I was ready to go. â€˜The girl' was instructed to take pictures of the hook up, but if it would have been someone with no experience with a trailer it could have been a very bad situation. She had no idea how it was supposed to be hooked up. Again, she was super nice and I felt bad for her being stressed out and the person on the phone was a real pain to deal with. I suggest training the people who are actually there working on how the uhaul rentals work.Dwight C.

Very unorganized and was trying to get us to pay for the trailer twice. We were not happy with the service.Shelly W.
Easier less complicated pick up process. My pick up n drop location were changed twice. The dropoff location changed without my knowledge, however was accommodated when i went to the wrong place. Either accept full payment upon book or require no cc info then. You basically "book" online then hace to redo the whole process in store. The unit was also not clean.Tera Y.

this is a convenience store that also rents Uhaul. I was checked out over the phone with the owner who was not on site. His wife was the only employee at the store and she was busy with gas and convenience store customers. need a person on site that is knowledgeable.Michael D.

Reservation was made for 12:30pm at Williamson Road. It was changed by UHAUL - with no phone call or notice! - to 5:30pm at Franklin Road. We had to start our move late - for which we hired movers for a set time! - due to this. Then when we returned the truck, we were told by the woman at the Franklin Road location that she could not check the truck in. That we would have to call the UHAUL 1-800 number. Then UHAUL charged us for gas when we returned the truck with the same amount of gas it had when it was given to us. Not to mention the mileage fee was much higher than advertised on the website which we were told was because it's a weekend. DO NOT USE UHAUL! Completely incompetent.David H.

The check in and check out process was chaotic. I was called 3 days after I dropped of the rental asking me when I would be returning it. I don't have much confidence in the management.Bill W.
The unit I rented, a 5'X8", only 2 available. The first one I hooked up to, was great until we checked the turn signals. Lights worked fine but no left or right signals. Went to the second one and the cable with the plug in for the truck was missing. Had to go back to the original one and take it anyway.Gary G.

Trailer was dirty on inside. Wife ask for 10 moving blankets, guy said he only had 7 , when I started to use them there was 13. Go figure.Michael S.

Uhau should really tell the customer where the lock box is when we drop the truck off. I walked around the whole building before I saw the drop off key box hanging on a propane tank station.Cole J.

When I picked up UHAUL it only had 50 pounds of pressure in a 65 psi tire. UHAUL worked very well yesterday at the drop off place .I put the air in up to 65 psi early in the trip and the drop off area was great. The pick up wasn't really a big problem but the owner did not show up or no worker showed up at the time of registering it for the contract. There was a girl that came out that made sure that we had the hitch done right because I was asking about it continually. They need to make it a strong rule that they check how it is hitched originally and show the renters how it is done for the future. It was all done on the phone with the owner of the minimart. I'm thankful that he had the right size for me and he did well on the phone.Harold K.

I reserved my u haul on May 11th, for this past weekend. Went to pick up my truck and they had no truck for me. Eventually said the best they could do was a truck that was 90 miles away and I'd have to go pick it up myself. This delayed my entire move and left me with no available help moving. I've never been more unsatisfied with any service.LESLIE ANN A.
The owner/person in charge was not available at time of pick up. I had to give my credit card information to him by phone using the phone in the mini mart after his wife called him. I don't like giving my card over the phone. I think I may have been able to do this online - not sure. There is actually too much communication. I had multiple emails and texts regarding the reservation to the point it is a bit confusing and overwhelming. I mean, I would rent again as there isn't much choice.
