The drop off was convenient and Paul was very friendly.

Mark T.Dropped off trailer and was charged a late fee for being 30 min. Late . And then told me they don't give receipt they are all emailed and not printed. This is so you don't see the extra charges.

arnie V.I was told that it would not be an issue to keep the truck for a couple of extra days, I would just be charged for the time. However, the return location had a reservation for the truck immediately and had to have it returned. Ended up having to pay for cleaning which would not have been an issue if I would have had time. Requested to change to a smaller truck than what was originally reserved but price charged was not adjusted to the smaller truck.

Charles H.The address that was given was incorrect. It took us to a residential area. I had to call and ask for directions as I was unfamiliar with the area. I originally scheduled to pick up at the Country Village Ace Hardware in Ishpeming, Michigan. Come to find out an associate (I believe his name is Ron) gave our reserved truck to another customer. The associate was unapologetic, and did not even tell us what was going on. A customer service representative from Uhaul called me and informed me of what was going on. My husband and I were in a huge rush beforehand, and then we had to drive an hour away to pick up another truck. So with travel, not being able to find the Iron Mountain location, and then getting back home, that wasted 4 hours of our time. I missed out on plans I had, and the friends that were helping us move were only available in the morning. By the time we got back, they couldn't help. Uhaul did give us a 20% discount, $50 back, and 150 extra miles. The extra miles were just to get the uhaul from the further location back to my house. The $50 money back paid for the gas to get the uhaul to the house. What about the cost of gas for my vehicle to get the uhaul? The experience was extremely inconvenient and I CAN NOT believe how the associate just gave our reserved uhaul away. He couldn't tell us what was going on and was not even sorry about it. He couldn't look me in the eye. The entire time he was disrespectful, unprofessional and what gets me the most is that he was willing to ignore my reservation and put us in a difficult spot without thinking twice. It was obvious that the other employees were uncomfortable because of his actions. I'm still so shocked that it happened, and how it was handled.
