I returned the truck and the place it was parked did not have a sign indicating no parking. I assumed it was ok to park anywhere on the lot. I even took pictures when I completed the return process to show it was parked near the building. Monday morning I received a bill for $25.00 cleaning fee. When I contacted the facility, I was told the 25.00 is for based on parking in front the building. This was an insult I may have to use uhaul again but I will think twice as to the location I rent from

Philip did an outstanding job. He delayed his lunch because my friend was late and he had such a good attitude about it. He was helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. He should get a raise. Everyone else working there was helpful with positive attitudes. I highly recommend this business.

I did a drop off during closed hours. The contract had one drop off location. When i tried to drop off via the app, it wanted me to take it to another location. I left the trailer at the location listed on my contract. I had to call the next morning to confirm if i need to come back and take it to the location in the app. Overall, not my best experience with uhaul.

I was unable to remove the trailer on my own. Also, the location return app failed to work. If it hadn't been for men who were returning their own trailer, I'd have been stuck driving back to Charleston with the trailer. It is absolutely unfathomable that there aren't directions on how to remove the trailer; and that the trailer doesn't have a stand and a crank.

I just felt like the truck needed serviced and burned more gas than normal. Getting U-Haul is common for me and this truck was an abnormal cost for the truck. In the store, it is good to make sure customers know that they have to create an account. This is not in the directions at the counter. Otherwise, the location was great, the people were great, and the procedures did not take long.

Your after hour app does not work. When I returned the vehicle it would not accept my payment method. I tried with 2 different CC. It then referred me to the return key without and I got charged $20.00 fee when it was your system that was not working. This alone would make me re-think using u-haul again if I am going to have to pay when your system is the culprit.

The morning after we return the truck. my bank account was hit with an additionally $26 which included tax. According to Charlie, the csr I spoke to at the Broughton Rd location. I was charged an additional fee ($25 plus taxes) for parking the truck on the front of the building. However the trick was parked near the receiving shed on the side of the right side of the building He stated that they have a posted sign indicating the additional fee which wasn't observed by my husband and I at about 10pm that night when we dropped the vehicle off. The property doesn't isn't well lit at night. When I tried to dispute the additional fee, he told me I couldn't and that was their policy. So I told him that I would be contacting cooperate office to file a complaint He ( Charlie ) then informed me that there was nothing they could do either. Upon contacting corporate office to file a complaint, I was provided a copy of my receipt by the representative. According to the final close out of the contract. I was charged the additional fees for “cleaning” instead. Although this isn't the first or third time we used uhaul for moving items, we've always adhere to the rules of the country contract to include cleaning and refueling the tank. The bed of the truck was swept out an hour before we dropped it off and headed to our destination for lodging. So I was charged an additional fee for a bogus and Mr Charlie was a bold face liar. My claim was file ams I was told the regional person for the area would contact me because he was in a meeting. Needless to say, no one reaches our to me as informed, so Mr Charlie didn't misspoke was he states that corporate can't so anything. Now I wonder how many others have been lied to, on, and forced to pay bogus fees as I did. When with this uhaul location I would advise others to pay close attention to their initial and final contract. I believe this bogus claim has been used numerous times while scamming people. I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone. point, blank, period. Another scam scam to boost revenues, which is sad and shameful!

I left the vehicle cleaner than what I found it ( it was clean before but I left it cleaner) and I got hit with a $25 cleaning fee. No explanation at all...

Thanks! Please be sure that the vehicles are clean, gas is exactly where it should be, and ask all important questions to help make the check in process fast and easy. Questions to ask ahead of time- How long are you looking to rent the vehicle? What time of day do you need to return it? Is there a grace period to return? Do you need any accessories or additional equipment? Will this be a one way? Explain what a one way is. I arrived to the location to turn in my vehicle a few minutes late and literally had to wait for over an hour in line and I was charged for an extra day because the person that came to check out my vehicle was in line before me and it was not checked in!!! My vehicle had cigarette ashes in the cup holders and was not clean overall. I did not notice it right away.

Office was closed on Sunday but they charged me $11.00 for wrong drop off point -Not my issues since the order was wrong from the start. The second issue was they charged a clean up fee - not correct (Sweep it out before returning) other then the blankets not being folded up - Gas fee - ok

We went to two locations . Cameron SC location is a dump. No pun intended. Your 24/7 check in sucks at best and you should think twice about offering movers you don't control . I will just use Penske from now on however the folks at Broughton in Orangeburg SC did a wonderful job but the U-Haul . Com support is awful and it took 4 hrs to get a manger on the phone to give crap customer service.

The brakes was grinding and making the truck shake. Took me several hours to move I had to drive 40 mph on the interstate because of the brakes. Than they charged me a 30 dollar fee which I have a claim on before I picked up the uhaul and stated to me they don't understand why I was charged but they will do a claim to get my funds back to my card. The truck had other ppl belongings in it as well. Just unprofessional and wouldn't refer them to anyone. Also they charged me for equipment fee for 5.99 which I didn't receive or asked for
