I reserved a trailer at a location but it wasn’t there. Was sent to another location, but it wasn’t there. This was the 3rd location and I had to settle for a smaller trailer than I reserved. It was not a UHaul Center so I had to connect the trailer myself. Your reservation system is useless to me! I don’t think I got a “sorry for your inconvenience, time and extra gas used” from one person because the 3rd location is in the next state.

Jeffrey HFirst the truck I placed an order for was cancelled a day later because it was not available. The new truck which I ended up getting had to be smaller. The truck only had 1/4 tank of gas, therefore I had to get gas before making my drive. ( Inconvenient). Also the truck had a check engine light on, when I notified location they said we know. It hasn’t had any issues but during my drive it was rough, shaky and even revving really heavy. Not a good experience!
Steve LStaff were very polite and helpful. Trailer was not ready at the time set by U-Haul (after U-haul changed the pick-up location less with less than 24 hours’ notice for both me and the franchisee). Tie-down strap was in process of being replaced, wheel well was bent, and taillights didn’t work properly, contrary to the report from the U-Haul maintenance guy who “helped” me hitch up.

James Jmake sure truck is clean and sanitized. This was the dirtiest truck I have ever used . It had an unpleasant smell and there was a shot glass along with more trash all over the floor the cup holders were very dirty

Eugene HWhen i got the truck is was hard to start, on my way to my home the truck ran hot. Nobody would answer the phone at the office so i had to walk to get antifreeze. Sunday morning I had to boost the truck off and the starter was dragging bad.Yall need to Hire someone to do the regular maintenance on the trucks.

debbie nWas rude and basically called me a liar, because I had to keep truck another day because of the rain, so called and talked to some guy that worked there and said I was keeping the truck another and he said ok that's fine.. That was around 8:30am and lately that day some lady from there called yelling why didn't I bring that truck back, cause she has people waiting on it.. I told her I had called and talked to a guy there that I was keeping it for another day and that wasn't a problem, will she said I didn't call, because I never talked to her, which I explained well I don't have to lay about it and I'll bring the truck back tomorrow at 10:30am..She said I was going to be charged very heavily for doing that and I'm putting it nicely, which she did not.. There's more to that, but anyway the place where I rented the truck sent me out of there with the engine service light on and the rubber coming of the wiper..I didn't really find all the out until I was loaded up and on the road.. The truck ran HORRIBLE, no cruise control working, engine light on and no useable wipers..The whole experience was a nightmare..

Roger SMake sure there is a dolly available with the large uhaul trucks. If there isn't let the people no when they order them not when they come to pick them up. Most people moving a house full of furniture expect a dolly to be in the uhaul. The can sometimes make a difference when you are paying people to move things and they don't have the tools needed. Also if the locks are going to be charged ahead of time and regular storage locks are not allowed to be used that needs to be communicated. I incurred extra expense for special locks purchased to be prepared and then found that I was charged for a different lock required by the location. That should have been mentioned. That was 20.00 I didn't need to spend on an already expensive moving venture.

Cheryl RI rented a uhaul and everything went well until it was time to drop off. Nobody was at the drop off location during business hours. I was accused and charged for damages that i clearly did not do. Now there is an investigation going on because I refuse to take fault in something that I did not do. My only fault is not taking pictures of the uhaul before I left in it! So be warned! Take pictures protect your money! I was looking forward to my deposit! But I am certain that they will find that I did not make those damages!
