Bertrand TateOriginally we were to pick up the trailer at the U-Haul in Bartlett on 70. When we got there, she could not find it even though their computer and the regional computer said it was there and not rented. No one could find it. She also made sure to tell us that they do not connect trailers at that location. We then had to drive down the road about 5 miles or so to Citizen Storage. They were prepared for us, found everything and helped us connect the trailer. The lady there was very nice, helpful and professional.

Polly GiaimoI ordered this truck at the last minute b/c I needed a truck to move an appliance and some dining room chairs. I had access to a pick up truck but felt that having a ramp would assist me and my son better so he wouldn't have to lift the appliance. However, the truck did not have a ramp so it was just as bad as having a pickup truck Also, the cabin hadn't been cleaned. It had dog hair all over it. But because I told my brother I didn't need his truck anymore I was stuck with renting this truck.

Ron NickleThe Woman at the counter said we had to back the trailer and truck into a tight space and that she doesn't do that. I don't understand how people that are in charge of the equipment can't back in a trailer. She then reported we had returned the truck with not enough gas. I showed her my receipt from pick up with the amount of gas I picked it up with. She then tried to show me how it wasn't at the proper amount and I showed her how she was incorrect finally she admitted she was wrong and said that it was too late for her to fix it and that if I wanted my money back I would have to call U-Haul. Unprofessional and with a lot of attitude.

Tierra MartinI got there at 930am and there was a sign saying "I will be back at 10:15am." Employee got back at 10:25am. The employee was not friendly at all. Then, I brought back the truck at 12:30pm and there was a sign saying "I will be right back at 1:10pm." I parked the truck and left. I went back at 1:30pm and again, the employee was not friendly at all. I asked him to check the truck and he told me "You're good, you'll get a receipt on you E-mails. Poor customer service.

Charlotte DraperI had to go to several different locations to pick up trucks and equipment. I had a pickup location on my phone, however, when I got to the designated location indicated on my phone, I was told it wasn’t there and that I needed to go somewhere else. I went to four different locations, this needs to be rectified. Overall I would say all persons I dealt with were very friendly and professional but the runaround was ridiculous. If it wasn’t for the exceptional stafff I would give uhaul a one star at most. The online reservation is great but to have to go to different locations with mileage charges is insane especially considering I paid for a vehicle trailer that wasn’t there when I went to pick it up. Understanding time delays and other unforeseen circumstances you guys should really think about consumer cost given the inconvenience of travel to different locations and unreliable availability of vehicles/tows. I truly hope you understand the importance of the people/staff you have employed as far as customer needs/ satisfaction is concerned otherwise you’d be an absolute waste of time in my opinion.

Jeffrey MorleyMyself and my father are both disabled veterans I have never hooked up a U-Haul trailer before nor did either of us have the back strength to hoist it onto the back of my truck. When I asked the person that gave us the trailer how to do it the U-Haul lady there had no clue and refused to help us and went back into the office and sat down. So we did the best we could and pulled it to our home only to find out that the lights did not work on the trailer and had to call uhaul for a technician and that was a whole nother ordeal in itself this has been a terrible experience

Chris TaylorAssociate was fabulous! Polite and professional; watched a video with me on how to hitch up a trailer (it had been many years since I had rented one). I think that would be my one suggestion: training on some basics for the outlier U-Haul locations like at storage facilities. But again, she was wonderfully helpful.

MELISSA BARNESThe truck I rented had clearly not been serviced, likely since it was new. Long story short, it was in no condition to be rented. Three of the tires were bald, the front tires showed severe toe wear due to the alignment. The alignment was clearly off due to worn out steering components. The truck shook violently at 50+ mph, and shook horribly when bumps were hit. The suspension was pretty much done for as well. As an automotive technician, I tend to nit pick these things anyway. But in my professional opinion, the vehicle requires extensive repairs, possibly beyond it's worth depending on it's age. In which case it should be taken out of service.
Michael WilliamsonI reserved the vehicle for 1030 this morning. I arrived early at 1020 only to find the location locked with the sign stating that no one would be back until 1130. The Uhaul I had reserved was parked outside however, as stated before, no one was available to give me the keys to the truck. Finally the employee showed up at 1045. When questioned as to why there was no one available he stated that Uhaul doesn't let them know about the reservation times for their vehicles. I found that hard to believe being that the truck I had reserved was already prepared in the parking lot. Overall, I thought the male employee was unprofessional and lying in his statement.
Marco Negronthe person at pick up didn't have a clue how to enter my info nor did she assist me in hooking up my trailer. I had to do everything. It was a joke! Either she needs more training or a new job. I would never come back to the Memphis location

Gary TempletonGet an employee who will get off their butt and go over the equipment with you and show you how everything works. Other locations that I have rented equipment from have hooked up the trailer and they explained the areas that I needed to pay attention to so I would be safe. From Denver to OKC every location has provided hook up and instructions. Never did get my receipt that the employee said they sent. Had me sign a hand written piece of paper to decline the insurance. Acted like she didn't know how to operate the computer.

CAROLYN CERVEROI felt the representatives were very cold it’s not what they said it’s what they didnt say .they never greeted me when I walked into the office there answers were very short. Perhaps employees would benefit with customer appreciation training the equipment was dirty in the cab you could tell it had not been cleaned or Sterilized. The eguipment ran perfectly and I was able to finish the task I needed the truck for . If I need a uhaul again I will return as a customer

DONALD HARGETI’ve been renting Uhaul trucks for twenty five years. I’ve never found one filthy until I rent one from this location . The staff did try to clean it but that was partial Especially during this Covid period.
Bruce MasonThe 800 number told me differently than the location is able to do. Instead of less than $50 I got charged over $100. It’s not the locations fault. It falls on uhaul corporate.
