No one even came out of the store to check the equipment or if it was hooked up properly or even get the number off of it. I did all that myself. Then I was charged twice and I only had the equipment for 26 hours. I have rented the same equipment from multiple places before and only charged once for a longer period of time. Why

I had my order set at a location close to my apartment then got a call to change location. I was fine because I got a bigger truck at the same rate as a 10’. Then when I show up to the changed location the lady was no help to me! I get she was working at a gas station but when she told me she didn’t have my equipment she told me there was nothing she could do! I had to call U-Haul and explain and go to a third location to get my equipment! Which was across town! Then when I got the equipment I had to return it to the same location which was out of my way. Then when I returned my U-Haul I got charged extra mileage! Like seriously?! How was I at fault when I was sent to three different locations over a tristate area?! U-Haul needs to get their shit together!

Young lasy all by herself running a gas/convinience store. simply handed me the contract and told me the trailer number. No personal vehicle inspection, no help hooking up the trailor until i asked, no light inspection. I am a 63 year old main. i tried to lift the trailor by mysekf but no luck so had to go back in and ask for her help.

She did not know what she was doing, very unorganized, did not have all the equipment ready. The truck was still dirty and needed to be swept out. She did not know how to use the login information and was not helpful.

It took FOR EVER to check in despite me doing the online check-in. Won't reccommend his location to anyone.

There was a cc on file but they needed my card since I was picking it up and everything had to be inputted again to system. Only one person working in the store so she had to keep stopping in helping other customers that came in. The process took half an hour and I told her I didn’t want my card charged and she said no this is just to hold it but my car did get charged. Most importantly I did not ask me if I wanted insurance and it was just automatically put on without my knowledge. When asked about this they told me I only had 30 minutes to take that off after I left but I never asked for it. Very disappointed would not recommend

Upon picking up my reservation one employee that helped me was pretty honest about the place. Upon returning my trailer the next day the employee had no clue on what to do she kept me there forever and was telling me I had a balance do and that I couldn't leave till I paid my balance. ?? Then someone else stepped up and said she had only done this once so she had no clue what to do. They don't give the best service and they give priority to gas, other buying item related customers. Uhaul customers have to wait till they have time for you. It takes a long time to get helped. Plus their computer is super slow. If they can't keep up with the service why have it.

You should pull their contract. They are unprofessional, my drop off destination was changed and they didn't even walk out to check equipment. It took us about 45 minutes to get checked in.

Nobody advised us prior to our pickup that we would be obligated to return to the same pickup location so we have been charged double the rate. Clearly communication between pick-up person and the employee in charge is lacking immensely.

Number one The uhaul had 7 pallets in the box No dolly in the back Inside dirty Empty fuel I was requested by the person in the gas station that rented the truck to me that I need to fill up before I go . The addition of tie down points inside the cargo trailer to attach ratchet straps would be helpful. The slots in the rub rails are wide enough for twine and that’s about it.

Pick-up took nearly an hour as the cashier had to handle other customers in between working on our pick-up. Have a second cashier to help out when a U-Haul pick-up is scheduled.

The laddies at the location on Transit Ave were more friendly to deal with. However I can't seem to find that location when I searched in Google Maps. I would have done business at their location but they didn't have the size I needed, at the time.

I had reserved and paid for the trailer online, yet the pickup took 45 minutes and 3 phone calls because their system kept requesting "meaning assurance". The store clerk was just as unhappy as we were, but really?? GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER U-Haul!!

They were extremely helpful and the equipment was well made.

Staff had no idea how to do anything related to U-Haul. Had to call for help and spent almost an hour flirting with customers and chatting with her manager on the phone. Got my order wrong several times and I eventually just took what I could get and left. Had to pay late fee on the trailer because staff was unable to properly help me. Horrible experience, would never use again.

I rented a floor dolly but they did note have one when I showed up. The young girl working the counter tried to take care of the problem but was unable to come up with a solution.

Arrived to drop off nobody could tell me where to drop trailer. I was told to drop it by other trailers, no other trailers there. Finally made second trip back inside to talk with personnel, she was surprised when she looked out and no trailers there. I had to park trailer and the attendant nearly pulled my wiring off trying to remove trailer. She was unable to remove trailer so I had to lift the trailer off myself with arm I had surgery on. Not a good impression. The female advised me that someone would come in later that night to check the trailer over. I told her that I could not wait the 3 to 4 hours to have the trailer checked. The lady finally looked into trailer and noted it was extremely clean and undamaged. Lady gave me my paperwork and final receipt showing no charge. I called you customer service and told them about this situation and was advised that the trailer had been checked in. (913)634-6208. Horrible experience.
