I rent frequently to the point I only do mobile check ins and outs for my company. This place is crooked. I returned my truck, it took them a whole 24hrs to check it in and when they finally did they charged me extra for gas that I put back in the truck. They will not answer the phone, hence â€œcrookedâ€. DONT TRUST THIS LOCATION. Go to the U-Haul Equipment drive location or anywhere nearby but DO NOT GO HERE. Overcharging weird foreign guys are in charge of this U-Haul location and can't be trusted to do business. They are Getting over on good customers. Just look at the reviews, 75% are about being overcharged hmmmmm and still U-Haul let's them keep doing it.Stephon M.

Uhaul should let customers know at the beginning of the check in process what page the code will be on to unlock the back to get to the key. We were looking for a while for the code just to get in the truck not knowing I had to keep going through the check in process for it . It was just too many pages just to check in! On top of the code being so small I wouldve never found it if my brother wasnt with meJanae M.
I was told that a hold would be placed on my card for $160.00 but that my total would be about 96.00 well after it was all said and done this place charged me the full $160.00 I feel robbed and lied to I will never again use your companyROBERT C.

Truck i reserved wasn't available, a 20' truck, and was given a 15' instead. The AC didn't work and the drivers door was sprung and was hard to close. The customer before me had reserved a 10' and walked away without a truck. The phone was ringing off the hook while i was there and no attempt was made to answer it. The person running the store asked me call him on saturday afternoon if i wanted the truck a day longer, and surprise after trying to call several times no one answered their phone. I contacted uhaul directly to resolve the issue. Thought you should know this agency needs improvement from a service perspective.Ken J.

I would recommend the location if it was the last option but not first. Before the location give away your rental they should call and verify if you still need the services not assume. On busy days they should have more help.Laura L.
The online process was extremely inconvenient. It took longer than a normal check-in would as there were no lines. I opted to use the online check-in for convenience but it took upwards of 45 minutes to go through the entire process.Amechia J.

The merchant added equipment insurance after I got to the location. I declined the coverage when setting up rental. I asked him why the initial hold was so high and he was dishonest in sharing that it was all estimated mileage. I caught the charges on the settlement statement and was able to get them refunded after spending 20 mins on hold.ADRIAN B.

I was upset was told to pick up one place went to do that then was told had no truck and .99 a mile I was told if brought back to where I picked it up that I would only pay133.00 and 2047 miles free not what happen at all Had to go 55 more miles out of way and pick up truck and paid 185.00 and got 277 .iles free and brought truck back to rock hill sc This is not what you want to go threw the day you are moving its streeful enough without prolems from your resvation for a truck all and all it was ok Thanks to the UHaul travel lady who help get a truck the last minute.Joyce LewisJoyce L.

I have used U-Haul before. The person there was courteous; but he didn't do a walk around of the vehicle to document damage, fuel or mileage; so how can he document that I drive the truck 17 miles and I only had the truck for an hour. Then I received no email of the charges. I received email notifications for everything else except what was going to be charged to my credit card. This will be the last time I utilize the services of U-HaulPATRICIA W.

The first location we were scheduled for was closed during business hours and had a locked hate. We tried to call customer service but couldn't get an answer. Thankfully when we drove to this location the fellow was able to get uhaul on the phone immediately and have them update our drop off location and helped us out. He was wonderfulStephen B.

I unfortunately had an accident driving the very short distance from UHaul to home. A guy ran a stop sign and hit me. After the police report, I took it back and got another vehicle to transport things to Lincolnton. GraciasKatherine S.

There was a miscommunication between the business and the Uhaul cooperation about what time the business opens and self-checkout being available. I was set to get my Uhaul at 8am, but the company did not open until 9am and do not offer self-checkout. This is something that needs to be fixed to avoid anymore mix-ups with future customers.Kianna E.

Worst customer service I've ever had with U-Haul... I had where I checked it on my phone so I wasn't supposed to come in contact with anybody and I've done this multiple times and never had an issue.... however this gentleman who worked here said that that wasn't something they did and I'd have to contact U-Haul about that.... so I wasn't prepared didn't have my mask on me since someone drop me off... The guy was so rude it honestly makes me not want to use U-Haul and try and get somebody else next time... funny thing is I've use this place before and never had an issue checking in on my phone and using the app as U-Haul tells me to do.... seems like the guy just didn't wanna do his job... and he tried explaining to me how the system actually works and how difficult U-Haul is to handle or deal with then he shouldn't have a U-Haul company..... do not go here ever so rude and not Worth the aggravation...Crystal D.
i will only recommend if I get a credit. I rented an appliance dolly on a Sat afternoon. I was going to need one more day. On Sunday your guys called me asked me to bring it back and get a different unit because the one I had needed to be shipped to another store Monday morning. I obliged. Well they charged me one day for that one and then 2 days for the replacement unit. I really only rented one day but you guys close at 3 Sunday and I was not finished.
