The merchant added equipment insurance after I got to the location. I declined the coverage when setting up rental. I asked him why the initial hold was so high and he was dishonest in sharing that it was all estimated mileage. I caught the charges on the settlement statement and was able to get them refunded after spending 20 mins on hold.

I was upset was told to pick up one place went to do that then was told had no truck and .99 a mile I was told if brought back to where I picked it up that I would only pay133.00 and 2047 miles free not what happen at all Had to go 55 more miles out of way and pick up truck and paid 185.00 and got 277 .iles free and brought truck back to rock hill sc This is not what you want to go threw the day you are moving its streeful enough without prolems from your resvation for a truck all and all it was ok Thanks to the UHaul travel lady who help get a truck the last minute.Joyce Lewis

I have used U-Haul before. The person there was courteous; but he didn't do a walk around of the vehicle to document damage, fuel or mileage; so how can he document that I drive the truck 17 miles and I only had the truck for an hour. Then I received no email of the charges. I received email notifications for everything else except what was going to be charged to my credit card. This will be the last time I utilize the services of U-Haul

The first location we were scheduled for was closed during business hours and had a locked hate. We tried to call customer service but couldn't get an answer. Thankfully when we drove to this location the fellow was able to get uhaul on the phone immediately and have them update our drop off location and helped us out. He was wonderful

I unfortunately had an accident driving the very short distance from UHaul to home. A guy ran a stop sign and hit me. After the police report, I took it back and got another vehicle to transport things to Lincolnton. Gracias

If you need UHaul just go to the man directly. The Customer Service people make it hard for no reason!

There was a miscommunication between the business and the Uhaul cooperation about what time the business opens and self-checkout being available. I was set to get my Uhaul at 8am, but the company did not open until 9am and do not offer self-checkout. This is something that needs to be fixed to avoid anymore mix-ups with future customers.

Worst customer service I've ever had with U-Haul... I had where I checked it on my phone so I wasn't supposed to come in contact with anybody and I've done this multiple times and never had an issue.... however this gentleman who worked here said that that wasn't something they did and I'd have to contact U-Haul about that.... so I wasn't prepared didn't have my mask on me since someone drop me off... The guy was so rude it honestly makes me not want to use U-Haul and try and get somebody else next time... funny thing is I've use this place before and never had an issue checking in on my phone and using the app as U-Haul tells me to do.... seems like the guy just didn't wanna do his job... and he tried explaining to me how the system actually works and how difficult U-Haul is to handle or deal with then he shouldn't have a U-Haul company..... do not go here ever so rude and not Worth the aggravation...

i will only recommend if I get a credit. I rented an appliance dolly on a Sat afternoon. I was going to need one more day. On Sunday your guys called me asked me to bring it back and get a different unit because the one I had needed to be shipped to another store Monday morning. I obliged. Well they charged me one day for that one and then 2 days for the replacement unit. I really only rented one day but you guys close at 3 Sunday and I was not finished. So I got charged 3 days when I should have been charge just 1?!?!?! Call me to help me. Jeff Williams @ 704-582-2347

The location was hard to get out of, the truck was on E when we got it but we only received a $28 credit after putting $80 in the tank - and we barely used a quarter if the tank for our move. So make sure you have a FULL tank of gas.

Everyone working at this location was very attentive and friendly. I'd also like to point out there was a young man working, I didn't catch his name but he was probably around 18 or early in his 20s. He should be commended. In the time I was there I saw him working very hard to get everything ready/checked out/checked in for customers. It sounded like he was fairly new there, but he was doing his best to think a few steps ahead. His interaction with the customers was also commendable. I hope this location can see this review because everyone there was great, and I hope the young man working knows that hard, good work is recognized!

First of all, I was unable to do a self serve pick up. After I completed info online, I still had to provide the same info to the rep. This location is not the best. There was a lot of trash where I had to park my car and dog food on the corner of the fencing. I felt that my car left there for my entire rental would be unsafe and at risk for vandalism. I would not recommend this location. The ladies at the front desk were helpful but the overall process was time consuming, hectic and confusing!

The truck stalled out and the exhaust was loud. It was missing a piece to the exhaust and instead of swapping the truck they gave me that one. Engine light still on. Extremely disappointed and the. Get charged for fuel. I barely made it back to the shop. Never will use that shop. Extremely disappointed

Sorry but there is a staffing issue at this location. I have rented lots of items from Uhaul and this has been the worse experience. Lots of things broken at this location, technology, staff is not trained properly, staff doesn't communicate well.

The manager gave me one price and I paid it and he didn't mention anything about a deposit. He told me that even after 5 pm I could drop the key off in the drop box. I did that and this morning I got charged doubled and was totally blind sided

There was an issue processing my credit cards at this location and it took up an hour of my time. I eventually had to use the app to pay and that payment went through and even then the dealer there was arguing with the UHAUL person on the phone that was confirming payment that he isnt seeing it on his system. All the cards he said were declined I have used them since and had no issues. In fact one I used the very next day to rent a return car that cost more than the UHAUL.

He was super professional and helpful. I parked the truck in a spot that blocked his other trucks from passing through. He called and I apologized and brought the key to the Uhaul drop off location as soon as I could. He was understanding and very, very, polite. ¡Gracias de nuevo!

I arrived to rent vehicle and there was a sign on the door that said “MGR Closed”. There was a mechanic there working who refused to help me even though I explained that I had already checked in and purchased the truck through the mobile app and simply needed the key to the unit. He said “No sir” and continued moving vans and trailers around. I left with NO MOVING TRUCK and called customer service and while en route to another location and was placed on hold for the entire ride and then disconnected. The new location was unable to help because the system showed I already had an active contract. I called customer service back and spoke to someone who also placed me on for quite some time until I was randomly transferred to now my THIRD customer service rep. This rep called the original location and spoke with the mechanic and told me to go back and get the keys (from the same mechanic that told me no). I finally went back and like magic, the keys were waiting. I hired movers to help me move beginning at 1:00pm. This entire ordeal wasted an hour and a half of my day and more importantly, I paid an hour of labor for movers as they sat at my home waiting for me to finally get a moving truck. Never again.

Customer service is horrible just like all the reviews stated. Uhaul Customer service line was horrible as well, had to call 6 times with several dropped calls before I reached a live person that would transfer the call for it to ring and never be answered

Website indicated that we could purchase the use of a furniture dolly. This may not have been the fault of anyone at this specific Uhaul but we were unable to rent one at this location as it was unavailable.

Invoice was incorrect, gentleman didn't know how to correct it. No one in line, did online checkin and it still took 35 minutes to process at the location. In contrast, I got a second truck the same evening from another location - less than 10 minutes.

Took over an hour to get the truck, only one person working, I assume the owner, he was very cranky. Difficult location to come in and out of. Owner kept taking personal calls and complaining no one showed up to work. Complained about previous customers to anyone who would listen. Accused everyone of being mean, I think he confused frustrated with mean. I have rented quite a few trucks/trailers from Uhaul at various locations and this is by far my worst experience, I will never rent from that location again!

I was supposed to pick up a truck on Saturday, but when I arrived the truck had been rented to someone else. I got a truck on Sunday. The gas tank level did not match the form I was given and the rental agent did not mention that I should check this.
