This review is solely because of my experience with Uhail on this day. I reserved my truck at 2803 Sunset Ave in Rocky Mount, NC at JD's rental. Only to get there to find out the shop is closed. It took me over an hour to talk to someone and then get another rental. Cherry Detail was fine once I arrived. Bit I sat in the parking lot for over an hour in the hot sun at JD'S rental just because they don't know how to conduct business. The only reason this score isn't a poor, because it has Cherry Detail at the top. This was a very poor experience and I probably ly will look elsewhere for rentals in the future.

When someone place an order for a rental, either leave it at the location they prefer or atleast in the SAME CITY. I still am refusing to pay the requested amount as there was NO APPLIANCE DOLLY OR REGULAR DOLLY. When I asked about it I was given a small square box with wheels and nothing else. I went all the way to wilson for a 1pm pickup and then was told it was 4pm. That is not the time NOR the location I reserved. It was actually 35 min away from where I reserved. I then had to come all the way back to Rocky Mount and FOUND THE TRUCK I INITIALLY REQUESTED at a closer location... however they did not have ANY of the equipment that I needed. The lot is TINY and was very difficult to maneuver a 20 foot uhaul around in. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS SERVICE and I have used UHAUL quite a few times. I REFUSE to pay the owed $160+ due to the MAJOR ISSUES I encountered. They left me a VM but did not try to reach out in any other form to get in touch with me. This is HIGHLY unprofessional. I WILL NOT BE USING UHAUL AGAIN AND FULLY INTEND ON NOT PAYING THE $160+ owed. It either needs to be taken care of OR cut in half!

Great customer service with Cherry Detail. However the app does not work properly and I was not able to use the app for check in nor return. I am a monthly customer and this problem occurs most every time. I am thankful for the hard work of Cherry Detsil to keep me on schedule dispite complications with the corporate office in Raleigh.

The truck was clean inside and out. After driving the truck for a few miles it seemed to display a bad shimmy or vibration in the front. I had never driven a U Haul this size and at first thought that this condition might be charatistic of a large truck. My overall trip was approximately 150 miles. The shimmy was prevlaent at almost all speeds. It was a very unplesant driving experience. Also smoking had occurred in the vehicle in the past. I don't think that it was immediately before I picked it up but at previous times in its life. On a positive note the woman who checked me in was extremely professtional, courteous and friendly. She displayed the image that any company would be proud of!

I found that the self check-in app was extremely difficult. The owner of the franchise was available by phone but no one was physically present. The truck itself was perfect and the price was reasonable. The self check-in program needs to be more user friendly.

Ony issue: The lock boxes for contactless check-out were not marked either by where they were located on the building or by the number provided in the app during the check by process. There was only a faded black two digit number on each of the three locks that in no way matched the number provided. I had to try each one several times to finally get the correct one. Not ideal and frustrating.

This location try's to charge Individuals cleaning fees for trucks bc they own a detail shop. The lady through the truck roll up door open when we arrived to self check in the truck and a spot was on the flooring by the door. The lady wanted to charge us as if we put the spot there when the spot was on the truck when we got it, simply bc I tried to ask her husband when we picked the truck up the night before to help me check it out since my location services on my phone weren't working.

The dolly they gave us was dusty , my family and I cleaned and swept the truck ourselves and they still charged me and additional fee , use cash they will take advantage of your card and charge you for what they wanna charge you for

Was charged for them to clean the trailer. It had debris in it when I picked it up. When I dropped it off, I was told where to put it. It was not even looked at. Then I was charged for him to clean it out.
