I requested a online checkin but the website did not work properly and it did not detect my location, even though my GPS was on and I used google maps to get to the location. I got my uhaul truck 1 hr late and had to wait for a actual person to open the store. Not only that, the person that open the store was not a normal employee, she worked at a different location and was covering a shift that day. I only used the Uhaul truck for less than 6 hours, but I was charged for 2 days. Customer service was terrible, I was transferred numerous times during a call. I could not get someone to help me. Go to another location or just rent a truck through Home Depot. Worst rental experience I ever had.CLARENCE A.

I pulled out of the lot and noticed there was only a 1/4 tank of gas. I didn't have enough money on me to put gas in the truck until I got paid by my customer. So I drove around the block and returned the truck with not even a 1/2 mile on it. This asshole that works in the office said it doesn't matter, I drove off the lot and I have to pay for the full day including insurance. This POS does not belong in customer service at all.CARLOS M.

Gas tank should be filled up so the customer doesn't have to figure out how many gallons to replace. I ended up spending $10 on a 15 mile usage because i return it with full tank not knowing that it wasn't full when i rented it.Rodolfo S.

I had requested for a dolly and a furniture mover for my order, and it wasn't available the day of recovery. Customer service stated that for some unknown reason they were taken off my reservation, and I would have liked to been notified as to why. Better communication needed!Fernando S.

I wasn't expecting a great service specially when I have a bad experience on a different truck rentals, but it's a different when I went to u-haul, it was a great service from getting reservations online, through picking up the truck. It was no hustle. Great service hands down.Alvin B.

I went to check and pay for my rental truck. There was a miscommunication about my miles. I had to go home to reschedule with the traffic number. The traffic person said he could have modified the reservation so I would not have wasted a day. There was only one person, I had to wait both times I was picking my rental up.MaryAnn Z.

The location was closed despite the scheduled being posted as open both google and at the door. I was expecting to buy supplies but I had to change plans. Also, I keep getting the notification whenever I pass by the location on the freeway. You should disable that functionality when the booking was closed.Arturo R.
Fix your application, your representative told us to put in anytime online and then pickup the U-Haul. This was inaccurate and resulted in an extra trip across the city to another location only to be sent back after talking to customer service. Delayed our move resulting in driving through a monsoon in the Oregon mountains.April R.

This location was great. What wasn't great was that my reservations were at Parkmerced. I made the reservations 3 weeks prior and confirmed the night before. I arrived and ..... no van. They had me drive to Daly City. The $50 money back was good but it should be for $100- $200. Being late because of not having the van at 9 am as planned, we got stuck in traffic - and the movers in Santa Rosa were waiting as I was late. They charge by the hour. Some one could have at least called me.juliette P.

mobile app is a joke, kept crashing, take a picture this take a picture that, took 15 minutes as the truck had warning on the dash , so open door close door, i ended up just uploading pictures of the side of the truck, the location is terrible, 4 spaces in a small parking lot, I had to fight with 2 customers of the small shopping area to move their cars out of the uhaul section, I am far too busy for this BS, took over 15 minutes to perform the return of the truck.eoin O.

The gas cap is broken it took about a half hour to fill up the tank. The bed of the truck was dirty. The shocks on the car seemed really loose or the steeringâ€"I'm not too sure. And the brakes made a grinding sound the whole way. Customer service itself was great! The dolly and materials used were very helpful. The people were helpful. Hoping this was just a bad apple type of experience. I did get over charged for an extra dayâ€" but I will call to explore that.Michaela P.

I was charged twice. And told I'll get the money back in 3-5 business days. I was counting on that 80 dollars for my bills I need to pay. I have used U-Haul in the past and was never charged a hold fee and then again at the end of the rental. This is ridiculous.Kristie A.
Please check on your employee at this location. He was on break the whole time. I waited for him so many times and he seems not to stay inside the office. When I got inside the 10" truck, the truck was not clean. There were water bottles and unused boxes inside. When I started the truck, there is a noise coming from the car and red flashes showing indicating there is something wrong. I tried to drive it just around the parking to test it but the loud noise won't stop and I really feel there is something wrong because I could not drive it well. I decided to go back to the office to ask the guy on what's wrong with the car but then he is on break again just after he gave me the key. I could not drive the car cause it keeps on stopping I might get into an accident. He said there is nothing wrong it's probably just the water bottle and said it should be okay because they just gave it back. He didn't bother to check the red flashes. So I tried to drive it again and then the red flashes shows that the tire pressures are low. That is why I could not drive it and it was really bad. I went back again after 5 minutes of trying to drive it and then this guy is On break again and Im waiting again outside. Not to mention all the time wasted waiting for him and not decided on helping me. I complained to him that the tires are low. He was laughing at me and said that it's just probably the sensor. I said no. It was bad that I could not really drive it. He was aware that the truck was so bad even the first time I complained. Then he said okay, he just gave me another key to drive other truck. I asked him if ever I can be a little be late cause of the incovenience I received from his and the truck I am losing time which I only rented the car for 2 hours and it was already almost 1 hour wasted since I kept going back and forth inside the office waiting for him and complaining about the car.Louise G.

Steering wherl pulled seriously to the right the entire 1700 mile sand needs to be aligned, but that was the only thing we didnt like about our latest UHaul experience. Both pickup and drop off locations were awesome!Devin B.
Not sure if it's the day that we came but this is a very busy location, not only parking spaces are super compact and it can be limited! I thought checking in thru the app would be quick but that was a biggest mistake, overall took me 30 min to locate the truck, get the key... blah blah blah and there was barely any reception! The U-Haul representative was very helpful although it defeats the purpose of going thru the app. By the end of the day, I wouldn't recommend the app!Angela L.
Truck had a Creek in the front end driver side upon acceleration could feel it in the steering column. Door seals are beat truck is noisy cuz it whistling. internal overhead light doesn't work it appears it's truck is wired incorrectly exterior lights illuminate when the interior lights should. Also I burned a lot of gas and approximately 7 1/2 MPG is not adequate for that truck I was hauling very light loads and paid too much in fuel cost. no thank you. Check the air filter and the fuel filter.Kraig B.
