This was an in-town move of household goods and only took a few hours (and lots of sweat) to accomplish. It was a warm, humid day, and the destination was a third-floor apartment. The truck was an excellent vehicle for the job. Relatively new, in very good operating condition, clean, and easy to drive. It was a 15-foot truck, so it was no particular challenge to operate. Air conditioning worked well, which was a welcome feature and would have been even more so if it was a long-distance, summertime move. This outlet in Winslow is not a major U-Haul location, but the owner is really good to work with. I recommend him and his equipment highly.

The 24/7 after hours pick up was a total disaster. The person at this location did not adequately explain that an account needed to be set up - that merely entering the reservation into the "I do not have an account" option would not suffice. It took over an hour to get the proper customer service after 4 phone calls in order to get my key and get the truck. I did watch the video on my own accord prior to the 24/7 pick up, and nothing indicated that a full account would need to be set up in my name as that was the number used when the reservation was made. Also, I was consistently told the app didn't work, and the website would. Nothing worked. It was frustrating, time consuming, and a horrible experience.The person who ended up on the phone with me was helpful in the end. I had made a request to customer service thirty minutes prior to just be able to talk to someone that could help me as she had. I'm not sure why I had to be kept being sent through the loop of continuing to try when it was apparent that after 30 minutes the site was not going to work properly.

I wound up using a smaller trailer because the 5X8 trailer was frozen in the ice and was charged for the larger trailer.

You just have to understand that the UHaul is not the main part of this business. There are other customers for different reasons and it might take a little longer than the usual UHaul place but the help is friendly and attentive. A very neighborhood feel to it.
