Dean was unpleasant. Office had a terrible odor. And for a guy with a “sensitive nose”, he sure keeps a funky work space. Also made rude comment about money since my card wasn’t working. I won’t return so it’s whatever.

The place is dirty. I received the truck untidy, I was told to even keep the truck overnight, due to the fact that the neighborhood was unsafe. I always make a habit of returning things the way I recieved them or better. I do not appreciate being charged this bogus charge for cleaning.

This review is for the location on Ernest and Brazil. I went to 3 different uhaul because one the person didn’t return the truck. They send me to another address to tell me they gave me the wrong address. Sent me to center street where the guy helped and was actually nice. I will never go to Ernest and Brazil. It says guarantee on time I wait 30 mins while they help others then finally tell me my truck won’t be back. Smh

I did not have any problems with the UHaul dealer; however, I made the reservation on-line and I requested labor with this transaction and it did not process. Consequently, I did not load on time. I have separate comments about Ultimate Movers and the service they provided.

Take the museum piece I rented out of circulation. Make a more user friendly reservation that sets more realistic expectations. Monitor your “help” at the regional centers. For the National brand: I refused the $19 “savings by not dropping in Tacoma and then was told that Gig Harbor (where I set the reservation to drop and was actually confirmed) was not taking trailers and I had to go to Tacoma. When I got there I told the owner that I had to stop half a dozen times to get the lights working again on the trailer. He called me later and told me it must be the plug/adapter that I used (which I bought at Medford UHaul), and told me they were basically junk ($12.95 junk). When I called to register a complaint about the drop off I was told there was no recourse but they would give me another day to make the drop. No $19 savings as was offered up front for getting this museum piece to Tacoma (across a toll bridge empty). And I was told I would get a call within 48 hours. Now a full week later and no call. I can only surmise you just don’t care. I notice there is no space to rate the regional dispatcher and the reservation systems. I rate both as unsatisfactory. The regional dispatcher in Eugene was rude and patronizing when I mentioned that I was not happy about having to drive 45 miles from where I planned to pick it up based on the reservation. The reservation system implies when it gives you 8 locations around where you WANT to pick up that you will actually be close. Not so much. Having looked at your corporate online ratings I assume you don’t care about such things. Worst rental experience in my 62 years on this planet. I want that $19 discount. and I want my $12.95 back from the adapter. And maybe that promised phone call so I know a real person might actually have read this.

Everything was great with the service, except I was charged twice on my credit card.

By far best uhaul experience Ive had. Staff was prompt and friendly, and equipment was in good working order. I have used uhaul locations all over Tacoma and Lakewood (as well as throughout the country) and this location definitely stood out above the rest. Will be using this location only in the future.

The level of fuel noted on the receipt was incorrect. It is my fault for not double checking it but it is this shop should ensure it was correct. This resulted in a $40/charge.

When i order a truck from a place almost a month in advance i expect the truck to be at the location i wanted it at not have to go somewhere else. I had help show up at my storage unit and i wasnt there they left. So i had to unload 3 storage units with 2 other people instead of 8 people. What took alot longer then before going over the pass i checked tranny fluid and it was low waitted over a half of day for someone to get back with me on what kind it needed then i. Couldnt find that kind so they had to sent road side assistance which he was a super star of the day. Not only did john make sure the tranny fluid was good he test drove it to make sure it was sound to go 5 states away.

Rented 26' truck and 6x12 trailer. At the time there was a bad winter storm and over 100 miles of I-5 was closed. Was told by person who rented me the equipment that if we were caught in the storm and could not travel that uhaul who not charge us for that time. We were stopped 1 day by the storm. Yuma would not allow us that day without a charge. Guess one cannot believe people who represent uhaul. Thanks, will pass the word to everyone I know.
