Made it very clear that I did not want their insurance coverage when signing in. However $15.00 plus tax was added to the final invoice for insurance. UHaul is refunding me but you need to pay attention to details.william M.
Make your website and what actually happens the same thing. I had to make 4 trips rather than 2 because where I wanted to pick up and drop off were not available. And when I called to find out why, I was cut off 3 times and finally put on hold for an extended period of time only to be told I had to contact another number to file my complaint!! I will not and anybody I know will not rent from you people!!!Ernie W.

The interior lights were not working for evening drop off. The engine light/alarm came on several times while driving on the 400 indicating service was needed. I believe the transmission. But this is the first time I have encountered these problems. Maybe it's a high volume time for rentals . The staff are good.SHARON ANN D.

Dropped off uhaul before opening. This is a reflection of our experience with uhaul overall. The truck also began heating up significantly during the move. It was a wholly awful experience.Ethan L.
The truck was so dirty with earth dust, so I had to clean it out. The bill include effectively 29 km as the car said, (I took pictures), but you charged the cost of 29 miles and the difference is about 10 dollars. I expect reimbursement of this money and take this comment in account for next customers.Jose A.

The truck shook as soon as the vehicle reached 50km/h. Drove 4100kms across Canada and had the worst experience driving. I will never rent or rep this company again.Michael H.

Rented in 2 occasions. Vehicles were clean however there was always something wrong once started the truck which made me questions safety. For example hissing sound when pressing on the gas and now lights in and right FF tire low. I was told it was okay and safe to drive. I did make it to the other city but unsure why in both o casinos truck has questionable issues???? Also requested drop off to a close location near home. I was referred to another location which was more downtown and felt I drove cross town when there was one about 6 minutes from me.Marcia R.

Have the vehicle ready for pickup at the reserved time. Or at least let us know in advance that it isn't ready yet. When we book 3 weeks ahead we are expecting the truck to be available the morning we scheduled, not 5 hours later, after the location calls a customer to return the vehicle as soon as possible.Ryan S.
When my contract was pulled up, they gave the wrong pricing as I showed up 30 minutes early. If you have a reservation based on a price, I think it should be in place as long as the times are not unreasonable.KENNETHH H.

The digital signature pad didn't work when completing the primary paperwork in the UHaul Office. Inside cab and cargo areas of this truck were filthy!! Unacceptable. The gas level was just below the half-tank mark and returned over half. I only used the vehicle for six hours and returned keys to personnel inside the office.Guy B.
Inside cabin there were dogs hair, it was told dolly is inside truck but nothing was there. Rate was told 58 cent per km but charged 60 cent per km. I demanded bill at spot but I was refused. I was suspected they will overcharge, and they did. They did not check the truck in front of me. Store operator was not busy. Contradiction over contradiction. Last weekend I rented a 15' van and couldn't have been happier. Went very well. The only thing was your app sucks and wouldn't let me drop off the vehicle. Had to call. This weekend was a totally different experience. I was pushed around from pick up place to pickup place and the girl on the phone was totally out of line. You guys screwed up my entire move by having me drive to Barrie and get a smaller truck than ordered. I had to also borrow a truck and trailer to finish the move. I'm probably out of pocket at least $500 and the girl on the phone basically said â€œtough luck â€œ Absolutely infuriating you guys can screw up someone's move by basically relying on the previous customer to show up from the rental before. Totally pissed off.Andy S.

Drivers side door of truck did not close properly, very unsafe. The customer service rep had a "it's fine, and we don't have another truck so it's this truck or nothing" attitude. Vehicle should be pulled off the road until it can be fixed before someone gets seriously hurt!Amanda S.

A terrible experience altogether, a calamity of problems... 1) Reserved truck well in advance and received call 1 day before before pickup advising they don't have the reserved truck available. 2) As an option I had to drive from Thornhill to Barrie (90 minutes round trip), which was completely out of my way) to secure an available truck. 3) When I arrived in Barrie (morning of the move) I was advised the furniture dolly I reserved was not in stock - here we go again - seeing a pattern here. 4) When I returned the truck I carefully made sure I'd left enough gas in it (even took picture of gas gauge). Good think I had the pic as proof because I was charged for gas on my Visa (without being advised). When I sent the pic in and stated my case to U-Haul the apologized and credited the money back to me.This smells of scam - how many others are being overcharged for gas that didn't notice it on their bill? I've used Uhaul in the past and have never had a complaint. This time, it was a complete disaster and nobody at Uhaul was the slightest bit empathetic. I will think twice about using U-Haul again and think I should get a total refund for the aggravation and stress this caused.Howard G.

I live 60 minutes from this location and have a UHaul location 8 minutes from me, and I'll drive the 60 minutes everytime I need a truck as these guys are great to deal with, very accommodating and friendly. The U Haul close to me in Midland are aggressive, abusive and downright ignorant.TONYJ H.
