SUZANNE HAdvertised 19.95/day. I rented a van for 2 days and ended up paying $170. $40 for 2 days + $130 in mileage. I drove the van 95 miles. It would have been cheaper for me to drive out of town and rented a Penske for the same amount of time with unlimited miles. On told of that I had to pay for gas. What a rip. It is obvious to say, I won't be using UHaul again. The location and person helping was great, it is the prices and company that sucks.

Jaimie Othe lock at the key box was extremely difficult to remove. Wouldn't recommend it. Van was ok, not totally clean but it was such a rainy windy day I didn't care. However, the van took care of my needs.

Granted I got a little discount for that. Was not planning on spending almost 200$. Hard enough having to move. Jennifer was very pleasant. Toooooo expensive

Warren JThis was by far my worst experience renting a U-Haul, but it seems like a problem with the system as a whole. When I made my reservation online I chose the drop off location down the street from our new house, because it's convenient. They offered us a discount if we were willing to drive it 55 extra miles one way, and the discount didn't even begin to make up for the added Fuel and the fact that another car would have to do 110 miles to retrieve the driver of the truck. They let me make my reservation after I chose to drop it off down the street. At no point whatsoever until I had driven away from the rental location did I discover that I would not be able to return the truck to the location I had chosen online, I would in fact have to drive it at least another 30 miles or 45 minutes to return it in another town. The extra fuel is expensive, averaging around $4.89 per gallon where I live. Once I already had the truck in my possession, they were going to waste my time and my money forcing me to return it to where they wanted it as opposed to where they agreed to let me take it. This entire ordeal has us completely reconsidering if we would ever use U-Haul in the future.

FRANKLIN BI rented a small truck fir $19.99. Cost me $85!! I think that $1.59 per Mike us a bit much!!! Plus gas prices made an expensive day.. Would be nice if yiu had a flat charge. Like 4 hours is? 6 hours?? Would be nice The lady I worked with was great
SANDRA CWe where in the hurry when picking up and didn't look in the very back once I got to my location opend the back it smelt like nasty animals and there was hay and animal poop in the back. I got pic of it and tried calling customer service but wait times are crazy iv went Through them several times this is my oy bad experience.i would highly recommend otherwise

RONALD KThe guy that works at this location was great. Nice, polite. But he doesn't work for uhaul.. The uhaul employees i talked to. Suck. Not friendly. Short in communication. And make you feel little. I tried to search for a different truck rental but no one was close.. And they made me drive out of my way to pick up a truck. And wasn't available at the location i specified.
DANIEL SThere was like 500 fruit flies in the back hovering over the pile of moving blankets included with van! The Van smelled like an old uncleaned fastfood joint or like something rotten ewww! My wife and I left all the doors open while we unloaded our Home Depot purchases and then gave it a wipe down in the cab and swept out the back! You bad the previous renter was a Slob and the Van was rented this way!!

VICKEY RIt is hard to imagine how to improve your great service - you were great prior to the rental with excellent phone information and help getting started. And then at pickup - everything went smoothly and fast.

Paul MThe folks at carstars were fantastic. I had made my reservation online, the vehicle I requested wasn’t available, a uhaul rep called to arrange a different vehicle/location. All that was never communicated to carstars, neither was the quote I’d gotten online. But they were super friendly and honored the quote. Highly recommend!

SPENCER SWe were not given full disclosure on the cost of the rental as the mileage charge was not explained. It was quite a shock when I was told that the bill would be over $100. This comes close to false advertising and will be reported to the state.
kelly hOur contract allowed 116 miles and we were billed for an extra 157 miles...we drove from Tukwila to our West Seattle home then to Grayland and to the drop off in Aberdeen...that should have been roughly 180 miles almost 100 miles less than we were billed ($40)....I think the mileage out must have been in error...very disappointed!!!

MELANIE Si have had some really good agent/dealers in the last 50 years I've been dealing with U-Haul. this agent/dealer far exceeded anyone in excellence in service and cleanliness of the vehicle. But, most of all he listened and showed curtesy and respect. those qualities are hard to find any where you go or anyone you deal with. I would have given him 10 stars, but they only offered 5

James MThe interior of the van I used was dirty. I had to wipe the dash, steering wheel, door panels and center console myself. Normally an empty soda can and popsicle stick in the door wouldn't bother me but with Covid19 I thought it should be brought up. It was clear the van had not been cleaned between customers.
Harley SA "regional" person took the reservation verbally quoted a lower per mile charge. However, the local person wasn't aware of that. we were upgraded to a larger truck because it had a ramp. Even tho we only needed to move 2 pieces. When the reservation was made no ramp was available. A bit of mis-communication?

JANE EI had wanted a 20' truck and made arrangements for one with a local outlet. I received a text to call district hub that directed me elsewhere because "That dealer doesn't have a 20' available on that day. You have to go to another location: They only have a 15' available also". That was confusing and was made more so by the fact that when I called back the original contact he had TWO 20' trucks available for that day....Confusing and not what I wanted and needed that extra room. But, everything else was okay and service at dealer I ended up using was great.
