The vehicle tow dolly had a bad and rigged up strap. It was the main strap for the tire to the Dolly’. Not their fault I didn’t notice till they were closed and we had to leave and it still worked.

You need to put stabilizing legs on your trailers so they don't tetertotter, something that folds down.

I am not tech savvy but this location was easy to locate. We had a small challenge trying to get the lock off , but that’s cus we were turning it wrong. How many idiots does it take to unlock a lock? Got the truck with ease overall.

They just sat at the desk while I inspected & hooked up everything. Oil was at 0% life which cost me more in fuel & definitely wasn't good for the truck.

You NEED to have agreed equipment rented at AGREED LOCATION and time!! Also, we had to pass THREE other Uhaul locations to return truck because the closer locations were not an option online for return.

This is the second time I have had to deal with this location in one week. The management is obscenely lazy and unhelpful. The first time, they didn't assist in unhooking the dolly and what really made me mad was that they refused to refund my 75.00 dollar cash deposit and said that UHaul would send me a check in 4 to 6 weeks. They tried to keep my rental receipt and smirking at me as I was giving my opinion concerning the situation, while telling me that there isn't anything that they can do about it. I hate these people and this location. Today, I returned my second dolly in two days that I rented yesterday at 4:30 in Mansfield, Texas. The woman at the return tried to charge me for an extra day and would not come out and unhook my dolly, which, to my understanding they are required by uhaul to do. If there is any way possible in the future, I do not ever wish to do business with this location again. I will choose another city as a drop off again. Genuinely disappointed at how they treat customers.

The trailer had no light cord upon hookup. While traveling the trailer came unhitched while traveling 70 mph on the interstate while sandwiched between two transfer trucks. The only thing keeping trailer attached was one chain. This whole process cost me me $3,000. Cost me 4 day delay because I didn’t meet the movers on time plus I had to drop off in total different place because I had to rearrange everything during this move. I’m not happy about any of this.

One of our drivers said the UHaul truck was the most comfortable and easy to handle that he had ever driven and he has moved a lot.

Didn’t have the equipment I requested. Forced me take equipment I didn’t want and that didn’t work. Didn’t have someone available to rent the equipment at the hours promised so I had to wait. Awful experience and damaged my friends car as a result of being forced to use the wrong trailer.

Called ahead to confirm closing time (5:00). Told her we would arrive close to that time. Got there at 4:55 & she was gone for the day. 3 employees working there left me standing 10+ minutes while they chatted with a couple there. Finally, none of them could help me and told me to just leave the trailer. I wanted a receipt that I left it. Very unprofessional operation here.

My husbands card got charged twice for the uhaul and because of their mistake it will take 3-5 business days to get that back in his bank account. Very much inconvenient when trying to move.

It took TWO MONTHS, to get my receipt. This location rented out my truck before closing out my ticket which lead to uhaul accusing me of not turning in my truck! This lead to much anxiety and frustration that lead to sleepless nights for me. Worst experience of my life

The original Uhaul truck and trailer was supposed to be picked up at one location. The day before they had us to pick up the truck in one location and the trailer in another location. Upon arrival to pick up truck at our scheduled time, we were told it would be 3-4 hours wait. Upon arrival at Carrols Automotive the personnel were extremely helpful and were able to supply us both a truck and trailer immediately. Carrols Automotive personnel went above and beyond to meet our needs. We are extremely dissatisfied with the original location we were told to pick up our truck, there was no sense of urgency and didn't appear to care we would not be able to pick up the truck at the specified time.

Called ahead to reserve. Car, dolly was told. $ 59.95 per day. Picked it up late. Sat cause they were closing. Left early Sunday am. It was only 530 miles. Not 670 as they said,it would be. Returned,in Earle. Mon morning. In Kansas. We told her it was one way. Our total bill was. $245.00. ???? Doesn't make. sense if not resolved. We will not. Uhaul again. Lee. Lunsford

I dropped the vehicle I used off at Carroll's Automotive in Palestine on the afternoon of 5.00pm December 30. I was contacted over six or seven times from the first week in January up until the first week in April about the vehicle used on December 30th. I informed U-Haul personnel that the truck was delivered on late afternoon of the 30th of December 2017. John Sehon III

Turned in unit on March 25 and billed for 20 extra days causing an over draft on my account. Not happy at all. Take into fact that I call Uhaul with drop off location information on the 25th and still charged. Really pissed right now.

I called for a price for one day & they indicated $29.95 per day, plus insurance, plus .99 per mile. It was going to cost me over $700 for a one day trip. Even using it one way from Floresville was cheaper. Don't know why Carroll's was so expensive, but I won't us them nor would I recommend them.

I was charged for fuel that was not in this vehicle... I took a pic of the gas gauge before I left and replaced the fuel that I used... They charged me for fuel I was never given. $26.00 I believe this is a total scam... The vehicle was clean but this is wrong on so many levels... I believe I need to post the fuel gauge pics on social media to see if others have had this issue?

I find it very unethical to charge someone for days not used. I rented a trailer in texas and turned it back in when I arrived in Florida a little over 24 hrs later and was charged for 4 days. I feel I should have at the most been charged for 2 days

Unit was clean inside but exterior was dirty with a dirty windshield. I know these people at Carroll's well and for 15 years. It's not their fault that the rentals are in a field and weather doesn't always cooperate. I know how to clean a windshield no sweat. Danny is a friend and did us a great rental.

I used the online rental "Self Return" which made returning the equipment at a convenient time for me wonderful. However, my concern when returning the equipment was that the key return lock box was broken and wide open. We put the key in the very back of the box and I called the location first thing in the morning to express my concern.
