Reserved truck, handtruck, and furniture dolly a week in advance. When I went to pick up my truck, it was completely empty and the proprietor said they don't have any of those things available. Little to no actual parking to leave your car as well.James M.
This wasn't the place I chose, I got a call less than 24 hours before I was to pick up the truck moving the location. I had to drive another 15 minutes out of my way and 15 minutes back to the location I needed to be. Only giving me 30 extra miles for the inconveniencekenneth W.
Owner yelled at me for where I parked vehicle. No markings for where to drop off so I chose open space. Was told I had to move the vehicle and asked why would I park it there. I moved vehicle per his instructions and asked if he treated all customers this way. Two other personnel there with UHaul shirts on were no help and said they were "Sorry" but I had to talk to the owner.Martin J.

The gentleman in charge at this location could not have been more helpful. Quickly came out to the truck after we finished gassing up, asked us if we had a good trip, had any issues with the truck (we didn't) and quickly directed us to a parking spot on his lot. The cargo van I reserved was not available upon pickup as scheduled. The authorized location gave me a box truck, upon starting the vehicle the dash alarmed that the tire pressure was low and the truck only 1/4 tank of gas in it. The truck was also more expensive in mileage than the cargo van I reserved. When returning the vehicle the location then tried to add additional charges for things I had clearly stated that I did not need and also tried to make me pay for more gas than what the vehicle originally had in it when I rented it and they also tried to charge me for a few more miles than the mileage indicated that I had driven. I would not trust this authorized location or recommend them to anyone. This location rented unsafe equipment and clearly was out to take advantage of me. I do not believe they should continue to be allowed to be an authorized dealer. The next day I did call U-haul customer service to report this experience and they were great.NICOLE F.
The Right rear tire had a low tire pressure and I could not verify the mileage until after I inflated the tire. The gas was at a quarter tank. I received a text for verification of rental with an error message when I clicked on the link and would not open. After I picked up the truck, I got an email that my reservation was cancelled. I called 1-800-GO-UHAUL and never got a representative. The truck was clean and worked well for my needs. I will use UHAUL again even with these issues. I'm sure that the next time will be a smooth transaction.Eric M.
The manager/owner was rude borderline mean and not helpful. There was no clear direction of where to park the truck. He then made me repark the truck twice because he changed his mind where he wanted it. Additionally he refused to talk to me and would only speak clearly to my friend who was a male (going as far as just waiving at me and saying no park there and not answering when I asked where but rather waiting for my friend to come walking up to speak with him instead of me). He was not wearing a mask but attempted to get into the truck driver seat while I was still in it to take a picture. And mockingly covered his mouth with his hand when I motioned about a mask. Then he insisted on taking the keys from me before I had completed the checkout process which made it very difficult to checkout. It was the worst experience I have had with uhaul. There was no person on location. I had to call customer service to get help just to get the lock combination. Just calling was convoluted as well. I ended up having to have the truck redispatched to me just so I could get the keys. RidiculousCaroline H.

Truck was not there. Attendant was non communicative (literally) and did not help at all. I had to call scheduling from my cell phone and shout through the glass that he needed to give me the truck in the parking lot. That was what the person on the phone was telling me to tell him. When she tried to call him he would not answer his phone. He had it in his hand and it was ringing and he just did not answer. Infuriating to say the least. The one attendant on site was not helpful. I have submitted a claim to dispute a charge that was made to my account for fuel. After researching, this location has a large number of poor reviews on the U-Haul site and I am surprised this has not need addressed directly by U-Haul.michael S.

I found the service representative on the return of the vehicle to be rude. We were told that the vehicle was 1liter short on the gas. The cost of gas at this shop was 2.39 per gallon he told us to put in more than didn't return the proper change. I think Uhaul at a gas station is poor. I WIL NOT Be Back.Gary D.
Received confirmation of rental of a cargo van in Annapolis one way to Springfield location. Was denied the type of vehicle That was confirmed saying â€œcargo vans have to be returned to same location.â€ Given a box truck instead. Loaded the box truck and it wouldn't start. Called haul and was given multiple etas for assistance. THREE HOURS AFTER I CALLED ASSISTANCE arrived. He said he had been notified 30 minutes before. Jumped the truck, drove to destination, and unloaded. Truck wouldn't start again. DIDN'T BOTHER WITH INCOMPETENT UHAUL EMERGENCY SERVICE. Jumped it myself and dropped it off. Was told the confirmation of a one way cargo van rental must be a â€œglitchâ€ in the online system â€œglitchâ€ persists. I was able to make another one way reservation online. Just be honest and upfront with the customers as they return the equipment. I Knew I had to pay for the unit and cost mileage what I did not know was about environmental fee????? and tax on top of it. all of that should be told when you book your rental.Rachel G.

The contract emailed to me after I rented had two errors. It showed the wrong gas gauge level (over half shown, but the truck;s tank was near empty), and it listed the wrong pickup location--many states away.Steven S.
The check-in process was surprisingly easy! As I was refilling the truck's gas tank, the guy proactively noticed the truck and checked it in, so I didn't even have to re-park the truck- whew! The location is a somewhat difficult to access, as I had to make a U-turn to reach it. But the site is open and tidy, it allows you to easily refuel the truck before dropoff, and it even has an excellent taco truck for lunch.cynthia F.

Missing my moving suppliesâ€" the guy working there said he didn't have any, so we'd just have to do without them; he said he'd update my order but I haven't seen any updates correcting it yet. I also did the full online check in and then he still made me wait 15 minutes while filling out paperwork for my order (including needing my drivers license again)... and then he still tried to give me the wrong keys.Haley A.

The location was in severe disrepair and the attendant was unorganized. Also, the attendants insisted we return with cash to pay for fuel. When I stated that I would fuel the vehicle before returning, she directly insisted they had to fuel the vehicle and it required cash. I ignored their instructions and refueled the vehicle myself. When I told the attendant upon return that I had refueled the vehicle, it became a bit agitated.Rayne F.
The truck could have used having the windows washed before pick up. Inside it was fairly clean, though a bit worn/old. I was surprised there were no USB ports for a mobile device; the majority of people rely on their phone for maps/directions.Dawn W.

Move the key drop off box to a more visible location! I misunderstood the attendant as I asked him what I should do if I bring the van back after he closes and He said â€œleave the keys in the vanâ€ at least that is what I heard. So I locked the keys in the van , so no one would steal it. However the next day I was called by the attendant, stating he could not get into the Van. I called a locksmith, it cost me $120.00 I then realized he meant to say leave the keys in the box! The box is behind a dumpster and hard to see.William M.

I picked up my truck at a gas station with one man running the gas station and UHaul checkout. He wanted to speed things along and tried to have me sign for the truck before inspecting it. He would not give me the keys to the truck until I signed the paperwork. I did go over and look at the outside of the truck to ensure I would not be signing for something that had damage previous to my possession. The truck was very clean and in like new condition. The issue that I had was that the fuel tank was so close to being empty that I barely made it 10 miles to the next gas station (I am not a fan of Shell gas so I don't use their gas for anything.). I thought the whole purpose of charging someone $4 for ever how much it costs to meet the rental contract amount (3/8 of a tank) when returning it was for the company that receives it to put the amount in there for the next person. I had to add that amount of gas plus what I used into the truck. Regardless if the person previous to me was charged the $4 per gallon or not, that gas should have been put in there before I took possession of it. Since the attendant would not give me the keys to the truck before signing the document I had to go on trust that it had been done. I was not pleased that I had to add this additional money to the tank when the previous person that rented the vehicle already paid for it.Keith H.
