I had disinfected the area of the interior before driving, however, the car seats was fabric in which I had forgotten to wipe down. I had bug bites on both of my thighs. It's not a very pleasant feeling when it's swollen and itchy. At the same time, I was not aware of the miles charges until I received my invoice on the email. Worst UHaul experience ever! Note that I had rented the same truck size at another location the weekend before with very professional engaged personnel in San Gabriel, CA. Uhaul personnel Angel in Alhambra, CA did not engage well with me customer service-wise. He sat in his chair at every transaction i had with him at intake & return of vehicle. No paperwork given me when I picked up vehicle. Truck not well maintained, shook at a stop, which I mentioned to him in teturn of truck. Inside of back of truck was not clean, plastic wrapping left & unfolded blankets, which attendant asked me to leave on the ground close to the vehicle before we drove truck away. There were encrusted dry mud around tires of vehicle. No vehicle damage inspection/walkthrough conducted. We returned the truck with a clean back interior, swept with a broom, as Angel required. When we returned truck, Angel just had us turn in keys & told us to expect email within 30 mins: No paperwork given, no inspection conducted. I received the promised email the next morning, not within 30 mins, with a $25 cleaning fee. I EXPECT A REFUND ON THE ADDITIONAL CHARGE for this by far the worst UHaul experience for me! Disengaged, unprofessional attendant, extra charges!!!Rick F.
We found an acrylic nail with a human nail attached in the cup holder and other crumbs and such in the cabin. The pickup location was covered in trash and other unsanitary items. I felt like I needed a shower just walking in there. I've used Uhaul many other times, but I'd avoid this location at all costs in the futurelydia H.
Easy enough to pick up and drop off if you're tech savvy. The rear door was hard to close and open. The ramp was hard to open and latch onto the bed of the truck. I had two really strong movers helping me and they were having a hard time with it. The doors of the truck were also hard to close. I needed to slam them to get them to close all the way. Even then, sometimes they didn't close all the way.Kenneth Y.

The truck had a serious safety issue with obvious suspension damage or malfunction. The truck bounced literally nonstop like a jackhammer on the freeway to the point that I didn't feel safe driving it and actually felt really sick. Not only did they not having the truck I rented the one I got was dirty and had used PPE materials in it. I was charged for items I did not get and the owner was extremely unorganized. I don't want to have further contact with this place so much so that I don't even care about getting back my money for the moving items I was charged for and did not receive.Armando G.

I was told by uhaul's agent that I would be able to do an after hour drop off as this location closes at around 4 pm. Arrived at location around after 6pm and realized it was locked with no access to leaving truck. After waiting on hold for almost 20 minutes, my son in law called on his phone, the agent apologized for misinformation and gave him another location's address approximately 5 miles away. To be honest, I was too tired and decided to go to location I picked up the truck from this morning to return. Agent added insurance without my authorization and thankfully the place I picked up and dropped off was able to adjust. Also,I wasn't informed that uhaul does not prorate storage. The storage that was from the 14th of November thru December 13th did not reimburse me for the prorated amount. I was told that uhaul does not prorate storage. I have used uhaul for lots of years and have always been very satisfied, except for this last experience. And I will use uhaul the next time I require it. Just a little disappointed. Carpet 4 Less is a business that an outside observer could surmise is close to filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy, and there happens to be a parking lot there large enough to stash some U-Haul vans. The van that I arranged for pickup had a dirty windshield and two skeptical-looking spare tires on the front wheels. I felt in that moment that U-Haul did not care about my safety nor the safety of its customers, and that is not a good feeling to have.Andrew B.

I asked the store representative multiple times whether I could use my U-haul voucher credit, and he assured me that the U-Haul location to which I would be dropping off the U-Haul would honor it. The U-Haul drop-off location, which was an actual U-Haul store, told me that U-Haul could only apply the certificate on the front-end because it was a one-way flat rate. Never ever again. I was told to return at 3. They then called and said they are leaving at 2pm, and deal with uhaul. Uhaul didn't know what to do and sent me to two other locations before they accepted my truck rental (and charged for mileage). Everything was smooth for the most part. I don't know why I was charged 3 days after my visit. I got the uhaul truck on the 3rd of this month and wasn't charged the amount to my bank account until yesterday. That has caused me to over draft on my account!!!!! Now I'm being charged a $35 over draft fee. And I was charged about 28 bucks for insurance on the truck when I never requested itWesley A.

Truck was dirty. Trailer was really dirty. I didn't get the walk around and check. The truck didn't have a ramp to use. We had to jump in and out of U-Haul trailer. I called the to report the problems and they said they were owing to note it and they didn't. I had to call a real U-Haul place and have them note it. Horrible experience.Candice R.
