All three uhaul locations staff were professional helpful and very nice - Uhaul is a great company and we use uhaul regularly when needed - but with like any business there are some bumps and this time we experienced a couple - 1 - uhaul company Where I made the reservation close to my storage unit were in contact with me and everything was going good until the day before when I found out that I had to pick up the Size truck I reserved was 17 miles away instead of their location 1.2 miles away so that was a huge inconvenience for us in this instance - I Wish uhaul company where we made our reservation would've notified me that they wouldn't have the truck at their location - I was unaware that at times you make a reservation at one place And pick up the truck reserved at another location so Please advise your customers of this fact so then we went to went to reservation location And indeed they did have the size truck I reserved so there was a little mixup there And added more stress 2 - The date I made my reservation for U-Haul truck I also hired movers through the list at U-Haul I went ahead and picked And hired and paid for movers that day - I explained to them at U-Haul and to the moving company CC movers Mr. Calvin Roody The size of the storage unit and that there were several boxes but most of it were items not boxed from three garage as I explained to them there were welders ramps lawn equipment shelves lawn furniture items that could not be box that had to be moved from the storage unit to the truck Mr. Calvin arrived and refused the job in which he was already paid to do he said I wasn't expecting this and I can refuse any job he was backing up his truck and we were trying to discuss with him how we could fix the situation because we had help there and then we could work together he jumped out of his truck and violently approached my husband and I screaming and yelling I can refuse any job you can dispute the payment and drove off - we then went to the U-Haul when I made my reservation I 40 and Coors U-Haul Albuquerque new Mexico told them what happened with the movers - they were professional and sympathetic and tried to assist us with finding new movers that day but to no avail I called my credit card company and disputed the payment to CC movers to Mr. Calvin and that's gonna take up to 60 days for $145.44 approximately - u-Haul company has had complaints on Mr. Calvin and I do believe they removed his company from the list - as we all know moving is very stressful and the day started off with driving 17 miles one way and back to pick up a truck reserved when in fact the truck reserved - I needed was 1.2 miles - we got past that then - the incident with Mr. Calvin and leaving us flat was just unbelievable- we're at the age in our 60s it was me and my husband and three other people and it took us hours from beginning to end of the day to pack the truck - we left to our destination of Clovis New Mexico on May 19 we got there and unloaded and returned the truck Friday, May 20 8:45 AM and my experience in Clovis was excellent - thank you U-Haul for keeping in contact with your customers and see if you can adjust the couple problems that I have had this week - I'm just glad this week and this particular move is over and done with I will use you all again in the future and I appreciate you following up with the survey so your customers can give reviews - overall experience with uhaul again was very good thank you and have a good dayRenee R.

At reservation, representative at location was not knowledgeable as to what they had available. U-Haul rep apparently was sending customers to an alternative location instead. Representative at location fixed our reservation as U-Haul rep had wrong times for return as well. At that point everything was ok again. Then upon returning truck, a gentleman at the location stated that we were going to have to pay an additional $11 for fuel. That we were short on fuel. He said we were just under 3/4 tank. I had to point out that the fuel to begin was less than the fuel at the return. In addition I pointed out that we only used 12 miles total in the truck, not to mention the fuel that we DID put in the U-Haul truck, how was it that we had to add an additional $11? He couldn't answer. Because of this attempted SCAM by the representative at Carpenter Storage and U-Haul, I will NEVER rent from them again!!anna S.

Only issue waa the difficulty in using the online check out process. It was sent three days before rental pick up date but (according to U haul representatives) the electronic check out will not work until 24bhours before pick up. It took two hours and numerous phone calls to learn this. You could have simply included it in the directions. Monumentally poor planning for a National Chain store to send out what they know will not work. Since my time is not valueless, this was very disappointing. The simple solution is to incorporate this information when you send out the instructions. Common sense Everything else was good.Richard D.
The clerk who checked me out was the most rudest unprofessional clerk that I have ever had to deal with. She charged my credit card when I first got there she said $64 and showed me the receipt. She never told me that there was $100 deposit ever. I returned the truck in perfect condition and she ended up charging me she said 74 something. Well I left and I looked on my bank account and she charged 139.93 in the morning and then again when I returned it $83 and some cents. I called and told her that that was not right and why did she charge me $139 the first time. She said she never charged me that but it was in my bank statement she said I would have to call customer service and deal with them. I told her I wanted to know why I had such a huge amount taken off my account and she said that she didn't do it and she didn't know why it was taken off. She told me that if I had a problem I would have to call customer service and I told her no I wanted to deal with her not customer service. She told me that if I had a problem with what she did that was too bad and I had a heck of an attitude and she hung up on me. I called her back and said I wanted all the receipts from what they charged me and she said no that she gave me the receipt when I was there and that was my problem and she hung up on me again. So I called her again and I told her that I wanted all my receipts from the morning and that afternoon and she said she would email them to me and for me to leave her alone. She hung up on me before she hung up on me I told her cuz she said she wasn't going to send the receipt again and I said oh heck no you're going to send the receipts cuz I refuse to be charged such a huge amount and twice. So she said if I had a problem that was too bad and she was going to not refund my $139.93 because I had such an attitude. I told her I would be right there and I was on my way and she hung up on me. When I got back to the office she had the window locked and she had my receipts on the window sill and she would not open the door and explain to me why I was charged twice. I called customer service and they said that it was an hour wait to speak to anybody so I cannot speak to anyone. I've never had to deal with anybody so unprofessional in my entire life so rude and she wouldn't even help me or tell me what I have to do to make sure I would get my refund back. I'm really upset and I'm praying that that 139 comes back onto my card and she kept saying that it was pending and it wasn't going to stay on there. But I am so unhappy with you all and I will never deal with your services again and I want to report her she works for the U-Haul in Rio Rancho / Bernalillo on 528 and I don't remember her name but she was extremely extremely extremely rude. For some reason U haul had me picking up the trailer at a different location?? I went to that location it is a mile from my house. This is twice this happened. I picked up the trailer Friday night instead of Saturday morning.Kevin F.

The person at this location is extreamly helpful and very honest. This guy hasthe beat customer service and knows his job well. Upon telling my disappointment at the pickup location, he redirected me to appropriate number, and verified clearly for me how much I would have paid if I would have dropped at same location. He tried his best to help me make an exception and connect me to the customer care. But customer care eventually was not helpful so much to return anything. Drop off was frustrating as well. For some illogical reason, the AT was supposed to be dropped off at a different location than the truck. Why???? The lady at the drop off location had to call to get it straightened out. Then after all the issues that were caused exclusively by UHaul, she had the nerve to charge me a mileage overage fee. She said it was a mandatory fee and she couldn't waive it. I couldn't drive a 26' moving truck towing a car over multiple mountain passes on a narrow road, so I had to drive around, which put a few more miles on the truck. Uhaul customer service makes Comcast customer service look fantastic.CHAD S.

I was under the impression that I could return the vehicle anytime before it was due back. I tried to return at 7pm and the gate was locked. There were no instructions on what to do when that happens but I did see a key drop. I tried calling numbers and no one answered so I took vehicle back home. The guy at the location said I could have left vehicle near the road. This seemed unsafe and unacceptable but if that was the case it should have stated so somewhere.Andrea A.

This place was shady and we had to travel 20 miles out of our way to get the trailer and the place was not labeled clearly. It took us several times to find the place, even Google couldn't even find the exact location. Never again will I rent from uhaul because the customer service guy named Anthony was so rude and won't answer my questions.Terry C.
