The customer service attendant Heidi is excellent in all respects. Very quick process, all questions answered, no surprises. One little mention is that there was what appeared to be some gravel in the bottom of the trailer when I opened it, resulting in my Lazy-boy chair getting a coating of dust on the bottom which came into the house. I assumed that the trailer would have been clean, but I should have checked it before I left the U-Haul yard.

Excellent service at this location. It would be nice if it was open every Saturday morning. The truck was sitting in a puddle of water which made the circle check a bit tricky. All said though, very pleased with the service.
DAVID BMy experience was terrible but it’s not the locations fault. They were actually quite good. I booked a vehicle a month before. I received a call the same day saying they didn’t have a truck where I’d selected but would find one and call me closer to the day to tell me where to pick it up They didn’t call. When I finally called they said they didn’t have a truck. They did find one but I had to pick it up in a remote location and couldn’t have it for the length of time I needed. So I had to rent a second one for a day- at extra cost- and do a swap in the middle of my move. Then at pickup I waited an hour for the verification team who only approved me when I called them to find out what was happening. So I had a group of people waiting in my driveway while I tried to get the truck. I’d be hard pressed to think of worse service. It made the weekend a lot more difficult than it should have been.

David DWhen I return the truck, I parked on the side of the building went in and returned the keys. The guy said to me that Ican pull the truck around, detach the auto transport and park the truck over there. I think that’s their job.

Alexander PThe speedometer in the vehicle was in miles per hour only. The last time that I rented from u-haul the truck had both. I know that the license plate was from Arizona, but vehicles which are rented in Canada really should have km/hour on the speedometer. We don't all remember our conversions!

Anders BThe truck I rented ran okay, but it was obviously quite old, and the steering felt really loose. It was banged up a bit, but all in all it ran okay. The really frustrating aspect to this rental was the "24/7" contactless app to get the truck. I wasn't provided a code to enter the gate at first, then when someone else let me in, I proceeded with the app, which took over 30 minutes, only to realize that I was never provided a code to get out of the compound. I called the 1-800 line, waited on hold only to be told nothing could be done. Eventually I found someone else in the storage facility who gave me a code to exit. All in, I was an hour trying to work the app to get the truck and get on the road. The person on the 1-800 line also had the audacity to remind me that I only had 4 hours from the original reservation time to return the truck...an hour of which was already burned because of the trouble with the app. This location is great to deal with if you can deal in person with the folks in the office (I've rented from them several times), but if you're forced to use the 24/7 app...go to another rental company.

Trevor SGreat location with a lovely lady who helped me get going quickly. Drop off was a breeze as well as all that was great. The truck was another story. It was a worn out piece of garbage that misfired and belched black smoke (according to my wife who followed me in her car). $75 in fuel to go 80 miles! The suspension was horrid as it hammered over the bumps and the steering was so sloppy it took a steady hand to keep going straight. More drama than one would like but it did get the job done.

Kevin MThe truck was clean but smelled, the online pick up and delivery is a long winded terrible process. what happened to the old fashioned way of seeing a person. Lastly, the code to enter a licked gate to return a truck should be clearly sent by email or text. I was stuck on the side of the road for an hour waiting for Uhaul to find the code for me to get into the facility to return the truck and get my vehicle. It was 5pm, I was told the gate would be open until 7pm. It was not. Also, it's a pain in the ass to have to fill a truck with gas when its not full upon pick up. Common sense says, you pick up a truck full you return it full. When it's at 1/4 tank or 4/5ths of a tank, how does one fill it appropriately without guessing last the amount? My guess is you do this anticipating customers overfill to be sure. bad business.

peter bI liked the text reminders but when I went to to a self-return and clicked on the link I was sent, both my email address and smartphone number were no longer being recognized. Some sort of technical glitch there that needs to be looked into. Also, after I picked up the trailer, I was sent a text telling me to drop it off at a different location. Not sure why someone would make an arbitrary change like that without first checking with me that a change in drop-off was convenient for me.
Eric BI really like the pick up and return process using the UHaul app. Instructions were very clear, and pickup and return were smooth as all can be. Very user friendly. 😊
