By making sure the u-haul app works correctly when picking up and dropping off equipment to say the least. location does need a bigger driveway for getting in and out of. needs an extra light post around area to see better at night for drop offs.JARED B.

I was charged for two days when I only used the trailer one. They are closed certain days of the week and even though I returned it on time, since they were closed I did not get credit for returning it until they opened and checked it in the following day. I rented on a Wednesday and returned Thursday (one of the closed days), but since they didn't â€œcheck it inâ€ until Friday they charged me for two days.MICHAEL G.

The associate from Carolina Exports was extremely rude. Due to his unprofessional demeanor and lack of information the rental process took over 2 hrs. Also, when I was FINALLY able to drive the van the warning light came on. DO NOT rent from here.Elizabeth B.

The owner-manager who attended to me had horrible customer service skills. He was out mowing the lawns when I arrived around 11 AM. He paid no attention to me and when I walked in front of him to get his attention he sounded irritated. He attended to me right on the overgrown lawn he was cutting and was generally rude, nasty and never made eye contact with me. Finally, although I requested him to let me drive out the truck from its parking spot, he insisted on doing that without wearing a mask or cleaning up his hands.DAVID O.

Very unorganized parking area made it difficult to drop the truck off. The employee was very rude and unwilling to answer questions. He was on a personal phone call the entire time I was there and didn't make any attempts to help the customers who had been waiting a long time time. The place was a mess. The door had a sign giving the hours - open 7 days a week. We came in on Sunday during the open hours and had some questions. Questions were mostly because the place was such a mess and we concerned about leaving the Uhaul. Finally, we got someone on the phone who was not appreciative of a Sunday call.Tom R.

1. The person that contacted me about the rental, via text, was extremely rude and inconsiderate. 2. He or she had an awful tone via text. I apologized for inconveniencing them and they were very rude still. 3. The ruck was very dirty and had many broken parts. I have pictures to prove it. 4. I was charged for items that I did not rent nor have in the truck. I was charged for a dolly and furniture pads. None were provided, but they were on my bill. The only thing you need serious improvement on is your customer service hotlines. There literally is nobody to answer your incoming calls. I called for assistance and the first person I spoke to seemed distracted and really didn't want to help me, transferred my call and I was placed on hold for about 25 minutes before I gave up. I called the same customer service number and waited approximately 30 minutes to speak to someone. That person was very kind and helpful and resolved my issue. I am unsure as to why the first person couldn't have helped me?Jessica V.
No one to help find truck and got the wrong #. Truck was filthy with empty bottles under seat and food wrappers on ground. I was charged $25.00 for cleaning, so I am not happy as I returned it cleaner than I got it. Other than that truck ran great and was easy to pack and unpack.Joseph G.

As a customer of Uhaul equipment now for 27 years, this was not the most positive memorable experience. The reservation was made at the national call center which went fine. The local Uhaul dealer even called the morning of the reservation to ask if I could come in sooner than the 5:45pm reservation, which I agreed to. As I arrived at the agreed upon earlier time of 1pm, the dealer said he did not have time at that moment to assist me unless I had a reservation, which of course I did, and he called me that morning to come in! He rushed through the reservation once he recalled the outbound call to me, going into how my vehicle needed an electrical adapter to mate the 4 pin trailer connection. He said he was not sure if he could rent me the trailer but did so as to not mess my plans up for the day? Said I would gladly get one at the local auto parts store to assist. The trailer was bouncing everywhere on the ball mount despite me having the correct 2" size. That was an indication that he did not tighten the hitch to securely have it from bouncing around during travel. Instead of using the trailer which was showing it's age in the rusty rims and nearly dry rotted out tires, I elected to return the trailer the next morning without using it for the purposes intended. This was time wasted on my end, frankly not to ever repeat business at that location. Sorry Uhaul, as I know your organization is better than this.Michael I.
When I walked in to return, the person in the front was too busy eating burger king to even offer any help and NEVER said a word. After about 4 minutes of standing in front of this idiot, I walked back outside, picked a spot to drop of the trailer I rented, unhooked it and took several pictures, then left.Rod S.
Clean your rental vans. I rented a dolly but it was not in the van, I picked van up at 8:30 am but the facility didn't open till 10 am. I had to come back1.5 hours later to get the dolly. This stupidity put everything behind schedule.Ronnie B.

Your representative was rude and I would never use this location again. He has posted hours but is hardly there during those hours. I had an appointment at 10 am, which was the time he had posted to opened and he call at 9:45 in a harassing tone asked where we were at and why we were not at his location to pick up the truck. We advised him we were across the street at the Lowes waiting for him to open and that our appointment was not until 10 am.RANDY C.
It is more of a self-serve location and I had trouble with the link sent by Uhaul for checkout - it would not recognize my location even though I had location services turned on my phone. I texted the owner and he was able to accomodate by having me take photo of mileage and gas gauge and leaving keys in the drop box. But it is confusing process and took longer than it should have.LISA N.
No staff was available when I arrived to get the truck. I was under the impression that I could get the truck when I requested to on the first day of the rental. I didn't need it until the afternoon. I had to wait four hours for someone to come to the location. He thought I was coming at 7am. I did not receive any phone call or communication of any kind despite not arriving when he thought I was supposed to. This location does not keep staff on site to service U-Haul customers, only when customers are scheduled to arrive. If a customer is not there at the expected time, they leave the location altogether. It makes it difficult to be flexible when staff at the location cannot be counted on to be present.Brett C.

Better customer service. Witnessed rental person tell someone who had a reservation for a specific time tell him he lives too far to wait on him to come to pick up a trailer. He was leaving early and cant wait. For my 10:00 am reservation, he called me to say, he goes to the car auction on Thursdays and he's not going to change that so come back at 4:00 PM. It messed up my moving time as I had moving deadlines to meet. He showed no professionlism.Kevin L.

I called and said no and asked why and was told by the employee "I don't want to wait around all day for a $53.00 rental. I asked for a truck with a ramp the person did not accommodate the request and I had to move an upright freezer without the ramp and it was not easy hurt my back. I rented it only for an hour and I thought they would give me something with a ramp. Also, the person did not help park the van after return, I was having trouble parking in the right place. The overall experience was very poor and as a long time customer I expected better service.Taufiquar K.
clerk at this site called and asked me to come early to pick up truck. I did then told me could bring back anytime next day on Sunday as they were closed. I actually brought back truck the same day in the evening after hours. I dropped keys and contract in his after hours box on Saturday evening. On Monday I got the invoice with an added $20.00 charge for an after hours service fee. The original return date was on a day this pickup location was closed. I need the $20.00 refunded.Stephen S.

This was the rudest person I've encountered in all my time renting uhauls. He didn't want to take cash then didn't have change.
