The 6x12 covered trailer was fine except when driving in the rain the floor got wet from , I'm guessing, road spray from the tires. This was evidenced by a mattress being wet on the bottom when we took it out and it was put in dry the previous evening.JERRY D.

This is my second time trying to rent a trailer and they wait until they took my payment then said they didn't have the adapter light I needed for the trailer. I went to 590 north main. Street west columbia, Sc. Mr. Wrenn got me straight. Mr. Wrenn customer service was the best I have ever experienced in my 38 years on earth.Shavette G.
The place that I picked up the truck is questionable, I noticed when I walked in. There is no Covid 19 protocol in place. There were 6 people in the office when I walked in to rent the vehicle. The office is maybe 30 square feet at best. I would think it safe to assume that the trucks were not sanitized. I would not want my equipment used by the business. It's a garage, but I've seen many MUCH cleaner, as I have been in the auto parts industry for 30 yrs. There was good lying all over The customer service counter. The young man barely spoke at all. He didn't ask how many miles I was going. He asked if u needed additional insurance, to which I said no, but was still charged for it. Had there been another truck available closer, I would have left immediately.Susan R.

I can not believe how completely nasty this place was. I honestly was scared I was going to catch a disease inside of this place. I was irritated I had to give 3 contacts for the trailer when I rented a truck from a different place the day before and didn't have any problems. I can not understand how uhaul is ok with this place representing them. Maybe some sort of inspection needs to take place. When returning it this morning I had to walk around for 5 minutes looking for the person to help me.Britni C.

This is an auto repair facility which is filthy and has limited parking space. The owner of the garage was taking care of the U-Haul rental business as well being interrupted with questions concerning his repair business. It appeared that he needs further training on your computer system. He was an OK person but with all that was going on, it was hard to concentrate on just one thing at a time. I wish him the best but it was not the greatest experience. However, my mission was accomplished as we got the truck we needed and it did very well transporting my furniture.Patsy F.

A you guy pulled I. Shorty after I did. He do come over to confirm my return shortly come back out and said they would the next morning. Shortly after a man and a lady wit kids come out jump in there sep vehicle and I proceeded to take video of my location and return. Last time I was charged for gas that was not in the uhaul I rented and return nor could I state my case of first using your system. Rental over all ok.Andre C.

He asked about the gas. I reply I returned it as Ak received it. But was charged additional fees. They first couldn't find info act as if the huge truck wasn't there as they pulled into work. And had no clue what I was talking about returning. We used U-Haul as we moved acron the country and this was the worst experience. ( I have all pictures to show miles. Gas condition and locations. But they where not interested in that just charging.Andre C.

They were not very knowledgeable about the whole process and messed up my drop locationGarnett C.
I did the self pick up and the key wasn't in the truck, and we had to wait on the shop to open and then the employee was still hung over from the night before. We sat in the waiting lounge for 45 minutes in silence. He never explained to me what we were doing, why we were waiting, or how much longer. He never once apologized for not having the key in the location of the truck that we were supposedly looking for it to be per the app. Then we get driving it home after losing a whole hour of the day and we are getting bit by ants. The whole cab of the truck is covered in ants and so was the cargo area. There were ants all over the cargo area and they were all starting to crawl into our boxes. Had we not been in a hurry I would have taken it back and gotten a new truck, but after losing an hour I could afford to lose more time.Megan B.

When we arrived (on time) person on site did not know how to use computer system. After waiting for 15 mins and him trying to figure it out he called the owner and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes for the owner to arrive. this was very aggravating as it through our entire schedule off. 45 minutes waiting we got the truck. I felt that we should have been offered some sort of compensation but the owner ever suggested it. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE!Velvie C.

The truck was in poor driving condition. It was difficult to keep between the lines on the road and the oil change required light was on. Should have been taken care of before I was allowed to use the vehicle. I have rented many UHaul trucks and this is the worst experience I ever had.Katheryn H.
I could not pick up my rental on time due to the owner not being there. I had to wait 45 minutes. This is the 2nd time I have had to wait around at this location. Make sure we can pick up our rentals on timeDonald B.

I had no issues with this location but the 2 locations I went to before here was not so good. Either the locations had broken trailers or did not have them.Clayton H.
The owner was not present at the time that was set up for pickup of the trailer. An employee reluctantly had to call him and then I had to wait for 35 min for him to arrive. This delay required me to change my coordination for the entire day. The mishap was blamed on a slow system and the spefic site not being assigned in a timely manner even though it was selected five days prior. When I did finally pick up the trailer it was very difficult to move and multiple vehicles had to be moved, delaying the process even more. Additionally, no one was present when the trailer was dropped off the next day. Overall, very poor experience.Zachary R.

This location was horrible! It looked like a dump and was completely filthy. The one and only guy that was U-Haul friendly had one of his employees call me a FEW MINUTES before our pickup time to tell me that he wouldn't be there for another hour. An hour goes by and he's still not there so we could pickup our equipment. One of the other employees had to call him to tell him that we were there waiting on him... Between the overall experience and the way this location looked, I will NOT recommend that anyone pick up from this specific spot.Ashley J.

My personal vehicle experienced an attempted forcible entry while at this rental location. My vehicle is damaged. Personnel authorized to rent truck arrived late (more than 30 minutes) so I expect the $50.00 refund to my company's account for this tardiness/unavailability as stated in your online rental policies.David R.

first off i was there to pick up my rental at 10am and the guy who knew how do do uhal was running late i understand life happens so i didnt get the truck until 1230pm more than two hours late i believe thaey need a bigger lot and more training for uhaul for these situations also when i returned the truck they checked me out then i got home and i get a phone call saying that i jackknifed the trailer and now im being almost $400 and i never backed the truck up because i was scared to for this reason when i suggested that it could have been one of them he said "nice try but it wasnt us you have to take it up with uhaul now" i came in to return the truck and they were sitting there making their dinner reservation it is a very unprofessional atmosphere im very disappointed all i was trying to do is do something nice for my husband for valentines day i suggest they should not be renting uhauldyanne B.
Had to wait for 30 minutes just to pick up the keys, and the system kept freezing so the associate had to keep starting over. Then had to wait another 30 minutes to return the keys, and was charged almost $10 for gas even though I stopped and filled the vehicle back to the line in which I picked it up.Holly C.

We were double-charged. In trying to resolve the over-charge, and a problem with brakes on the rental truck, I was shuffled around thru three different phone numbers. I was assured a manager would contact us, and five days later, absolutely zero contact. Just an absolutely horrible experience, and no effort expended by U-Haul to resolve these serious and troubling issues.james H.

There were ants inside the cab and the back of the truck. I reserved a 17 foot truck and all they had was a 15 foot truck. Feel like I should have been charged less due to not having the size truck I reserved, which resulted in having to make multiple trips during our move. Didnt carry new "uhaul brand" equipment. No big deal, was going to by a used ball/receiver assembly from them since that's all they said they had. Told them it didn't matter as long as it wasn't more than a new one, which is true. A used one will do the same job so I didn't care in that aspect. Came back at $30 for a used one. Website has a NEW "towing starter kit" for $25, come the hell on. I show him the price online and he comes back looking dumbfounded at me and says $20 cash. If I didn't have to be elsewhere in the next 30 minutes would have found elsewhere for my business or a different company. No one likes to feel like they're getting ripped off especially when the price is so easily found online. Other than that sketchy piece they seemed to be well mannered, good people. They got me out of there as quickly as can be expected with just one guy on the one computer.Justin A.

Uhaul should not have charged me mileage when I selected a closer dealer. I drove 18 min out if the way to come to this particular location because of the truck size I rented. Uhaul needs to step it up . Don't let me pick a location convenient to me then send me 20 mins out if the way to pick up from someone else. Every location wise was fineSabrina K.
