The location was by a closed up building that was really in down. Lots of old broken down cars parked in the back. I was glad so didn't go by myself to pick up the truck.

Everything about this rental experience was positive. The only drawback was that the original pick up location got moved and once there, the Uhaul app didn't work as it said it would. Thank Hod the owner of Car Country was there and got us on the road in no time at all. The Uhaul app needs to be better equipped, but I was very happy with the whole experience

The person in charge wa not there when we arrived. There was nothing to indicate where to leave the truck or room to maneuver. While in the process of dropping off the truck, the owner arrived and accused us of hitting one of the used vehicles he had on the lot for sale. When he tried to show how the rear bumper the truck did the damage - it didn't line up. Then when he learned we had purchased Safe Move, he told us we could go, they would handle it. Then today, the day after, he called and said his septic tank was also damaged. He said it was a concrete pad under his UHaul sign. I was standing on that side directing David as he backed up and he never came close to the concrete. I don't believe that we caused any damage.

The owner/manager of Carolina Car Country is very patient and kind. I think the site needs a new printer the one they have isn't working very well. Also, their address needs to be updated on google so that other people don't get lost. Their address kept taking you to North Myrtle Beach instead of Little River which is very inconvenient.

Customer service was great. Go see Teddy for your next vehicle and Uhaul needs.
The vehicle pulled to the left and wandered when pulled back into the lane. It was difficult to keep in lane. The roof leaks, a number of boxes were soaked and the the top of my Buffet is damaged and will need replacement not just refinishing.

after I explained to "Teddy" at the location. That the running lights didn't work and I wanted another unit, he didn't offer it. I had to open the brake cap on the trailer to check the fluid since he didn't check. It was low and I had to tell him to fill it. I had to run the trailer at night with out running lights with the flashers on.

Take better care of your equipment and manage your business better. The equipment needs to be check more before sent out 1 way. More Maintenance needs to be done only equipment before set out. The equipment was not maintain very well.
