Cardinal Self Storage is a very clean and secure storage place. It met all of our needs and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We are very satisfied with our personal experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for storage units.

I needed to rent an appliance cart, but there is no place in the app to do that. I did send a message through the app to the location and they were quick to add it to my order, though.

The truck that I rented had a lot of mechanical issues the guy working the front desk was very polite and respectful and he understood when I told him that the truck was in need of repair the truck was dangerous to drive

I really like the convenience of the phone app, especially during the pandemic. I've used it multiple times, however in this instance the app showed the contract correctly, but wouldn't let me rent until the store “opened†at midnight (listed as 24 hours), even though it was business hours and the store was actually open. I had to go inside to check out, which defeats the utility of the app.
Customer service was excellent and made a stressful day of moving so much easier. I would reccomend to anyone needing to rent a moving truck.
Really dont have any suggestions. Very clean and organized facility. VERY friendly people. Helpful and left no questions unanswered. Will be doing this again and again. Have already suggested this to other people.

As with many of the larger cities, Ft. Dodge has two locations. I started out by going to the wrong one, they quickly referred me to the right one and were very helpful on giving me directions to it.

I called family bowling center and the said 76 dollars to rent trailer and when I got to the other place it was 176.00 idk why it was that way I got a 60.00 deposit back

The truck that I borrowed, did what I needed it to do. Was clean, ignition WASN'T broken off, everything was warmed up when arrived to pick it up, the lights worked, the windshield WASN'T held on with ducted tape, brakes were functional, and tires had air in them. Worked way better than my dad's old straight truck.

Don't change anything, everything went smoothly and the one employee I talked to handled everything perfectly and proactively.
Tow dolly wrench was knotted up and took a while to untangle in the cold and snow.
Kenny was very helpful and prompt. He got us on the road within 10 minutes of picking up the trailer and just a few minutes at drop off. Best U-Haul experience I've had so far.

It was terrible. We reserved it at the Family bowling alley in town and than was told they didn't have one. We had to wait for him to find one which was all the way across town, than we had to drive way out of the way to go get it at another place. When we got to Cardinal Storage the guy was rude. To be honest I want my money back!! Worst experience ever! Absolutely terrible!!

There were other storage units the were less expensive but choose Cardinal because the security an staff. I would not go any were else if I need a storage unit again.
Clyde and his office staff were wonderful, trying to handle everything from out of state prior to using the storage was easy with them. Everything was good with them.
