The after hours check-in was miserable. It took us nearly 1 hour to get the truck checked in online. We first had to watch a video to see how to do it. We then started the check-in process and one of the first items was the location finder. There were no instructions on how to activate the location finder on our phone. After two calls to customer service, we finally got through to the remainder of the check-in, which was ridiculous. I will find other rental agencies when I need a rental. If there are no other alternatives, I will never again rent from Uhaul with after hours check-in. Your after hours check-in has insured that this customer will do everything possible to find another company to rent from in the future.

Tell people that you all can't put their money back on their debit card until 3 to 7 business days. Recommend that people pay with cash. I used my debit card and I've never had a problem with money being put right back on my card but for some reason I have to wait 3 to 7 business days and that was all of the money I had

It would be nice to have the refund deposit given back to the customer upon drop off instead of it being mailed to the customer. I dropped off Monday morning, I'm still waiting for the deposit refund to be mailed.

They messed up the save on the order. The truck was rented for two days, but they showed it as being turned in at one pm on the first day! While I love this couple dearly, there is always some little detail that is wrong, and it is always someone else’s fault.

Trucks needs to be better serviced, it had a really bad exhaust leak and truck was very dirty inside the cab. The box part of truck in good shape.

Let customers know that if they are returning after hours they need to be at the location drop off so you will recognize that we are there. We were not aware and had to drive back to the drop off location to continue the return thus making it appear we were not back on time. Thank you for not charging us the extra day after we explained what happened.

tie down straps need to be not cranked down so tight that it took about 15 minutes just to feee them

This location is 24-hr drop off, but there was no clear place to drop the key. There are lockboxes with Uhaul stickers on them, but they require codes to open (e.g., if someone was picking up a key, not dropping one off). We ended up just dropping the key through the mail slot in the front door.

I returned the car hauler to the location where I rented it and they sent me to another location because "they didn't have room for it anymore." When I took it to the other location, it was like watching a pissing contest between the 2 locations. Both locations swore they didn't have any room to store it. They refused to call each other and try to work something out. I wound up being pulled into the middle of their disagreement and ended up going back to the original location of rental. It seemed they were going to prove each one was right and and the other agent was wrong. I was the victim, not the customer. Very disappointed that I wasn't offered some kind of severance, i.e., discount for next rental or current rental. I was a pawn in their childish game of I'm right and your wrong. I felt like a real idiot being tossed around like an unwanted pile of s*#t.

The only problem I had was trying to use the online and phone reservation process. There was a location with the equipment I needed much closer to me and it was available. I know the owner of the location and it didn't move and is still there now. Instead of uhaul keeping proper records and up to date inventory I had to drive fifty miles out of my way.

The truck I had I initially thought the transmission was going out so I had to make more trips. The brakes were so low I almost hit someone so I called you all and a tech came out. By that time I had rented another truck from another place. I spent way more than I evicted to. This will probably be my last Uhaul rental.

When I got confirmation by phone, I was told to report to a different town and site. I called and the mistake was promptly handled. They had mixed up two people with the same last name. The truck handled well. No issues at all.

Check your tie downs on the car hauler they are rusted and needs fixing had to use our tie down with our own straps and couldn't use the ones on the trailer. Other than that great service

It took us forever to find the key drop box because it was in the back of a building that had nothing to do with the shop we dropped it at. I will never use U-Haul again

After receiving a call from Uhaul to see if all went well, and after verifying that the unit was returned same day, I was charged for two days. Had I not balanced my checking acct I would have been double charged. I find this unacceptable. I have called Carden’s and they tell me to expect a refund. I would like to be contacted by Uhaul to be told when I can expect the money to be deposited into my acct. Tim

I think you should make things clear when people order the insurance on your U-Haul trucks because it does not cover certain things on roadside assistance like getting stuck. I got stuck with my U-Haul and I had to pay a tow truck to come get me out there for my U-Haul was kept for a couple days because it was so expensive to get a tow truck because roadside assistance did not cover me getting stuck in my neighbor's yard. I think it is ridiculous that I am charged over $300 worth of fees when it should be covered by roadside assistance I was stranded in my U-Haul in my neighbor's yard and could not move it for 3 almost 4 days I think you need to change your insurance policies and your roadside assistance policies to cover if someone gets stuck in a U-Haul to where they do not have to hire a diesel tow truck to come pull them out of someone's yard and then get charged excess fees when they are not liable when they took out insurance to prevent something like that.

Check the equipment out when it comes in to see if it needs repair. I have rented a trailer and a car hauler, they both he’d bad tires on them. I was unaware of this until I had left the pick up places.
