Cy CThe truck they rented us knowingly had a low unfunctioning battery. Broke down and cost me 4 hours of time and had too rent a Penske truck to finish moving. Asked for a call but got nothing. Will never rent from U-Haul again!

joseph bNothing to do with Car Works. The whole experience was not good. I confirmed a reservation with a place close to my house and went to pick it up and no truck was there nor was there any people to give directions on what to do. had to call Customer service and they sent me to Car works. Truck had a ABS light on when I picked it up. I was charged for blankets and I did not use the blankets. THIS WAS NOT A PLEASENT EXPERIENCE AT ALL!!!!

david lThe staff was rude, the previous damage was marked but I didn’t really enjoy having to spend 30 minutes making sure every single ding and scratch had one of their circles on it. My U-Haul also had a dead battery on the day of my move & return, preventing me from turning it in on time and therefore, being charged for another day.
Isabella EI was suppose to pick up the truck at the Karns location (where my stuff was in storage). We were notified 10 min before we arrived (by text) about the change with Cars Works closing at 6PM. Had to download the Uhaul app, but the wrong lock was placed on the back of the truck to access the keys. All of this delayed us 2 hrs of loading plus the extra mileage on the truck.
David ROn busy highway, nowhere to park the uhaul or the person picking me up. The place looked run down and was an auto shop garage with cars and junk everywhere.
Brett CCab of the truck was falling apart and badly needed repair instead of rushed hacks to keep things where they were supposed to stay. Back of the truck appeared clean until we got inside. Had to blow out the truck before we could pack it. Just overall lack of attention to detail.
Brian BI’m not crazy about the new trailer connection. Maybe due to old school and new fools I feel some keyed lock system in safer. Would hate for someone with the watch this unlatch the trailer while drier not paying attention to the unit for a few seconds. Overall thanks for your service made the move smooth

mike bFelt like I was inconveniencing them by being there to pick up a truck. Fuel was not at the level it was supposed to be. Location was overall uninviting.

mike bAsked us to park it ourselves and disconnect. A nice young man did come out and use a jack on it to lift the trailer off the ball after we went back an asked for help. We just drove 2500 miles were tired and old.

MATTHEW PChoose another drop off location. Staff was really rude and made me park and off load a trailer by myself in the smallest damn space you can think of that has a big drop off to railroad tracks.

BRANDON LI did call right after we picked up the truck to notify car Works that the left turn signal did not work and the hazard lights did not work. They told me they would check it as soon as we returned the truck. I liked the responsiveness. :-) Friendly and great deal with.

ROY HMy appointment was at 11:00. We arrived right at 11. No body in the office. The mechanic came out and said someone will be back in 20 minutes. 55 minutes later the owner showed up and then his front desk person. They were both rude. This was ridiculous and I will NEVER rent from them again. They didn't even inspect the trailor or anything and there was damage that had not been documented. I went back in and had them documented.
COLLEEN Lequipment did need cleaning but was in good working order. easy to pick up drop off. assistance hooking trailer to vehicle would have been helpful
GREGORY CHorrible experience. Don’t go here for any reason. Man and woman in the office couldn’t have been less pleasant and helpful. I would drive miles out of the way to another U-Haul location rather than pick up or drop off here.
Raymond GCould not find drop off location because it is barely visible from the highway; covered by overbrush. Staff completely unhelpful and seemed burdened by my not wanting to back a trailer into a spot while blocking a 55mph highway that had poor visibility. My safety seemed overly annoying. Begrudgingly, an employee finally helped by "directing" traffic around me.

KATHIE SThe lady told me i was late and that she had already removed all the equipment. I advised I had removed those at which point she told me “no you didn’t” I showed her the modification I did before and magically she said oh now it shows up. She then told me how she hated uhaul and that they never train them properly when they update things. She said I wish they would just not be here. She then argued that I ordered an out of state truck and was moving out of state. I again showed her my order and she said oh it just updated in our system. This lady was very rude and condescending. I always use uhaul when I move but it will never be this location again!

CHARLENE SThere was not adequate space to pull the truck and trailer onto the lot. I had to pull past the lot and park on the side of the road. It was pouring rain and I had to walk a considerable distance to the office. The office informed me that I needed to back the truck and trailer up and park it parallel to the road in front of two other trucks "without hitting the trucks". This was on a very busy and narrow road. I have the need to rent several more times in the near future and U-haul will not be a consideration.

MARK BI would avoid this location like the plague. The lady at the front was unbelievably rude and they did not help with the return at all. I had to back the trailer into a spot with the help of my wife. They did not bother checking the trailer or help unhooking it. Awful experience, stay far away.

BUFFY MDropped off the truck Sunday morning the 27th around 8am. I got the final receipt, saying it was returned at 4pm on the 28th and got charged an extra day
Brian FLiterally a JUNK YARD!!! The location was closed, if i indicated the time and date of return, the system should have let me know that the location was closed. There was no signage indicating what to do for a return when they are closed. Hopefully I am not liable if the trailer is stolen... it definitely looks like a sketchy place!
