No personnel to talk to - the location to park the truck was located at a separate spot from where you had to scan the location barcode for the check in process - you had to continuously walk back and forth across parking lot and street to complete the check in process - ie picture of barcode - picture of mileage/gas level - picture of cleanliness of truck - drop off of key Note- several calls had to be made to customer service concerning this reservation - Selma and Vonda were very professional and helpful dealing with the issues being called about

The people at Tru value hardware were very nice. But you attempt to provide the equipment that the customer reserved. You gave me $40.00 of a trailer that I had to make a hundred mile trip to get.

I was supposed to pick up my equipment in Pueblo, Colorado. Changing it to Cañon City cost me 2 hours of valuable packing time. This is the third time my location change has cost me over an hour with Uhaul.

I hate that this says "True Value Canon City" because that store itself is a gem, however my experience with Uhaul left a very sour taste. I called the Colorado Springs location on North Academy to schedule use and pick up. I had a 26 ft truck reserved for 8-10 hours beginning at 11am. I drove an hour from my current residence to pick up a truck. When I arrived to pick up the truck, I waited in line for 40 minutes and then gave all of my information again and staff verified my phone number as well as an alternative contact (in between conversation the female staff member was having with two male staff members about their personal business). After going through all of these steps, I was informed that there was not a single truck of any size available for me to use. After wasting my time at this location I called other locations in Colorado Springs with the same results. Finally I got in touch with True Value in Canon City and was greeted with kind and professional service and finally a truck. I ended up driving another hour to go back to get a truck at 4pm. Truck was returned the following day around 12:30pm. The NEXT MORNING I was contacted because they couldn't find the truck. I informed the male staff calling that the truck had been returned the day before and he responded with " I guess I'll go check the lot and if you dont hear from me again then it's here". About half an hour later I got an emailed receipt for the transaction. This was one of the most frustrating and time consuming things I could imagine dealing with in the middle of a move at 6 months pregnant. Not only will I not use a Uhaul again, I will urge others not to. The only thing that would even remotely change my view of the company would be an offered refund for the major inconvenience it caused me and my family.

Rating the pickup and drop off locations - they are just the end user access. The actual scheduling of the truck requested was a nightmare, I was repeatedly told there were no trucks available, yet there was one in Canon City - I made the reservation 3 months in advance and Uhaul was trying to once again dump a 20 ft truck and 6 ft. trailer on as - well it didn't work! We got the truck we requested because of how we constantly monitored the area and called multiple times to get what we ordered. It is horrible that you cannot put equipment where it is requested.

Tell your traffic center that this location is LOCAL and ONE WAY rentals!!!! I had to call every other day because the center kept sending my reservation to Colorado Springs- 50 MILES AWAY!!!!! It was a local move in Canon City. My reservation was cancelled without contacting me! That is why I had to call every other day to confirm my reservation was still active. Very inconvenient and time-consuming.
