Give location more flexibility for rentals fuel tank was at 7/8 exactly when I picked up but contract showed as over 7/8, locations start and run truck during inspections and use fuel tank level at drop off as level for rental. Renters get knickled and dimed to death over fuel, when dropping off in Jacksonville, FL the receiving location got in, started the engine, did inspection while truck was running then got back in and wrote down mileage first, then fuel level. I pulled in with over 7/8 of a tank but it was logged as exactly 7/8 and I was charges 11.50 for fuel.Rockie Z.

This truck needs an alignment. It kept pulling to the right. The left windshield wiper should be replaced. it was not enjoyable having to put my foot on the gas for 1600 miles. Cruise control would be a nice feature along with power windows and door locks. Engine was strong and kept up with the speed limit. It got me from point A to point B so I'm happy.Rich H.

The people here were great. The equipment was fine. But the fuel was not correct. I did not have the 7/8 of a tank to start. I had closer to half. I took a picture after driving less than four miles and it was to the halfway point. I tried calling customer service but the hold time is already 25 minutes or more. I will keep trying. But if you don't give it back at the required level, you get charged $5 per gallon. This gas issue is my only complaintDavid L.

Based on U-Haul rules, you have to have a reservation either by phone or online in order to rent a unit. Walk up rentals are not allowed. However, the moment I completed my reservation, the staff were able to quickly take care of my needs.Heinz Peter B.

This location helped me when no one else in u-haul would. First, I was told I had a reservation only to find out I didn't. Then Uhaul wanted to send me 35 miles away to get a vehicle for a local, one day rental that took 3 hours. I'll look to rent from someone else if I need to again.Lawrence K.

Returned vehicle on date email said due. No mention of vehicle being overdue. Then received charge in credit card for being 2 days overdue, called location, man who answered phone was not interested in assisting, told me to call uhaul. After being on phone for 70 minutes, finally had charged reversed. Will never use that location again.Jeffrey S.

Have an employee who actually return phone calls or is there during service hours who doesn't act like an entitled bung hole. Over charging then having to dispute a claim even after having a police report and the party's at fault information and insurance , you really need to organize your communication with main uhaul and uhaul in canon city. Everything else was okay apart from that.Chase C.

My complaint is about the charges. I've tried to download my document but it isn't working. It was late when I turned in the van by phone. I had the van for 12 hours. The total bill was $232. I paid for extras of $20 and $5. How does $19.95 a day become $232 for 12 hours?Carolyn S.

First off it wasn't the location nor the true value that was a problem... It was the UHAUL website, as well as whatever UHAUL employees the poor true value personnel had to reach out to... The developers of the website need to rethink their career choice or scrap the entire platform and start fresh! As I waited just outside the office that the true value employee stepped in to make a call to UHAUL, I was blown away by the lady on the other end... She was extremely rude, condescending, had a horrible attitude, and seemed to not give the least amount of well anything as far as customer service and employee relations go... If somebody were to talk to me on such a way in a similar situation... I'd either be seeking some sort of repercussion, relocate, replacement of myself or her! That's if I didn't just walk out on the entire situation... These guys are running a hardware store as well as taking care of a fleet of trailers, and moving vans/trucks..! All that on top of dealing with disgruntled would be UHAUL renters... The majority upset do to double bookings, incorrect website information, and the always displeasing lack of human interaction when trying to resolve even the smallest of any/all issues that are certainly sure to arise! I'd say at the absolute minimum your website is in serious need of an update, a to the point, streamlined, and easy to navigate user interface, it should also be coupled with an easy to use and understand data entry and collection system or device to ensure far better results top to bottom and in turn have far less complaints, unhappy customers as well as employees... it's that easy... if only, right? Simply my thoughts...Levi S.
Nick and Caleb did an excellent job. However, there should have been another man to load the truck and possibly a bigger truck. Not having this available cost me another $1000 to get everything to our destination. It is more important to me to get the job done correctly rather than trying to beat some arbitrary time goal.Randall Y.

Initial quote was for 77.45 and I expected maybe $20 more but when I went to pick it up she said $149 â€"- I said no way you quoted me 77. She then called and got it lowered to 99, but there needs to be a better quote system.Louanna S.
Well I have a long story are you ready........ We rented and the 10 boxe to small ....... Return it within a couple of hours so we change for bigger box 15, Had to go to a different location to pick it up........ â¤Employeesâ¤ in Canyon City were amazing!!!! So within all the confusion they gave me next today free 9th. with the truck because they did not have storage, That I kept talking about to them and they kept telling me that I would have one.....I had to go find one..... I hope you all this chaos I will be credited back something please call me if you need to know anymore about my experience!!!!!Robin B.
