This was the location I was sent to, when my first location didn't have the 10' truck. When I got to the Belton location, he had the truck but no key. I requested a substitute truck for the same price, and Curtis worked with me to do that. The truck had 2 miles to empty and was full of fast food trash, there were two oil spills in the bed of the truck I had to clean before I could load it. It was a frustrating day but we got through it so no bad feelings toward U-Haul. I understand not everything is in your control.Shawn L.

I will not use the C and S store again as they ripped me off. I have a rental agreement saying that it was due back at 4:30pm and he also asked what time I was bringing it back and I told him 4:30pm. He said we could check it back in online and sent me text saying that it was due back by 1:00pm the following day. It's obvious that he changed the agreement that I had received the day before when I filled it out online. If you do not want them to take extra money from you then don't rent from C&S Furniture Outlet.CherylHunsberger H.
This was the worst experience from beginning to end with this location and this company. I spent countless hours on the phone trying to resolve issue after issue. The staff was so unprofessional. The vehicle was filthy in the cab and the back. The front had sticky spills in the seats, floor and doors. It had a lot of dirt and debris inside. The bed of the box truck had pieces of limbs, red clay, piles of dirt and pieces of trash. I had to sweep the back out before loading my furniture. I wiped the steering wheel with disinfecting wipes before leaving the facility. The vehicle was left on empty and we feared we wouldn't make it to a gas station to put gas in.William A B.
I arrived around 10:20 when it said they open at 10. No one was there so I had to call a number and was switched to a mobile checkout. The truck was also not swept clean from the previous user.Alyssa K.
1) did not have vehicle that I reserved, had to take a larger truck that consumed more fuel. 2) Doors were locked with no signage indicating how to contact them. Had to find number among emails to try and call. 3) Person on the phone was rude and unprofessional with poor customer service skills. My reservation was changed to this location without consulting me. It was an additional 30 minutes out of my way, therefore causing me to exceed mileage allowance and having to pay additional miles. Further, there was nobody at the location to deal with in person and when you called their number, the gentleman was rather rude.Allen Y.
Tried to go inside the speak to someone about returning my truck and the door was locked. A lady was inside but the door was locked and she just looked at me through the glass. Went to the website and tried to return it but it kept freezing and backing out of the return.Angel P.

The truck cab was not clean. It had mud tracks on the floor. The truck bed was not swept clean. It had debris and leaves in it. The lock on the truck bed was hard to unlock. I had to wait until the owner came to have him unlock it.Shannon W.
This whole process was confusing picking up and dropping off and not being able to talk and see a real person. Which caused confusion on the steps to pick up and drop off. Then having the guy at pickup/drop off calling me complaining. The cost was outrageous. I only took to my house which was not more than 10 miles if that. When I arrived to pick up the non person contact the combination lock didn't work to get to the truck key. Had to wait a hour for person to come and open back of truck. No dolly or pads as I ordered. Auto transport was broke and had to go across town to get another one and it's turn signal didn't work. . Three hours into my travel it started to rain and the Windshield wipers didn't work. Stop using COVID-19 to make money and get back to customer service. Worst move every due to U Haul. Very unsafe!Matthew R.
Giving more accurate pricing before you rent the trucks. Left out with the mind set of getting money back but somehow ended up owing over $100 more â€¦ never will I rent from here again. I have rented uhauls before and never got charged that much. Almost $200 for 6 hours.Ashley B.
The owner of this so called business is never actually there. I pulled in wanting to rent the 19.95 one day rental, Monday (2/7) Owner has no office to do business. I called number only to discover he was doing paperwork in his car. He hollered out the window, "what do you need?" Not professional at all By far, the most pathetic excuse for a business I've encountered. The next smallest truck he had was a 15 foot truck for 29.99. He asked for a $100 deposit, quoted rate of .79 per mile. He said to pick up truck Monday & return Tuesday. After leaving, I received what seemed to be official U-haul text messages to upload drivers license, verify equipment condition, and to let me know when/where to return vehicle. Every text I attempted to open went to error message. I gave him $65 cash & left the remaining $35 in the drop box. Showed up Tuesday to return truck, pay for mileage & truck rental when surprise, owner was not there. Another customer was there. I informed her she'd be better off renting from Penske. This location was awful. The service is atrocious. This is highway robbery. I received bill claiming I still owe $124. I've already reported this experience to the Better Business Bureau and intend to write truthful review on every online platform I can find U-haul listed on. This man is a criminal & a con artist. I only need the truck for 1 day!!! This thief charged me for 3!! It was picked up Monday & returned early Tuesday morning. I drove it less than 27 miles. Either he's an idiot or he thinks people are not going to notice he's overcharging people. When I called owner to discuss bill, he said"to take it up with U-haul". He is not the type of person I would want representing my businessJames J.

I rented the uhaul for January 2nd and 3rd I was charged $86.19 then I was charged $100.77 then another charged of $48.19 my start mileage was19325.1 my finished was19352.2. I was overcharged. I only drove it 27.1 miles. I was overcharged a $100.Rita E.

No one was ever at the location. I had to call the store numerous times, and someone finally called back. I was asking about rates for a multiple day rental as I was moving the following day and was told to just use the website. Very unprofessional. I got there the day of pick up and I waited nearly 20 minutes for someone to show up. Again, store was closed and no one there. No one answered the phone after numerous phone calls. Someone finally called back and showed up at 10:20ish AM. Truck was full of dirt, smelt like sweaty ass and cigarettes. He listed that gas tank was on 1/4 and it was almost empty. I had to get gas as soon as I drove it off the lot. Fast forward to Tuesday, we finished up moving a day early so we brought the truck back. I cleaned the cab best I could to make sure I wouldn't be charged, and filled it to 1/4 if gas. But again, no one was there to accept it. I called and called and finally just said fuck it, and did the self check in from the website. Overall, I'd say if people aren't going to be there for whatever reason, then don't be a dealer. Worst possible service I've gotten using U-Haul.Christopher C.

Curtis was unprofessional. He charged our card an after hours fee when we returned our truck!! We paid a flat rate to go one way with our truck, we had our truck agreement for Saturday through Tuesday...we only used it one day and returned it Saturday night. I even received a text from Uhaul as I was in the parking lot thanking me for returning it to this location at 924pm...today sunday I received a email saying I had a receipt from Uhaul for this after hours fee. When i called curtis he said I could call Uhaul if I had an issue with the charge. I told him you charged my car, cant you fix it? And he said, call Uhaul! Honestly its BS and bad customer service. I will NOT be using beltons uhaul and I suggest no one else either. That was a crooked move and then to not even help me was dirty!SABRINA P.

this is crazy i had the truck 4 days and foutr days at 39.99 a day is 159.96. 150 mile at .79 cents a mile is 118.50 so 159.96 plus 118.50 is 278.46 where do they get 537$ i dont think so. never again will rent a uhaul from this place they will rob you blindJacqueline C.
After waiting 45 minutes to see if someone was going to show up I finally got a call that it was just going to be over the phone. Feels like I'm an employee when I have to do everything for uhaul. I tried to return a trailer early. My phone said it couldn't find my location so I contacted C&S about it and the owner said he would take care of it. I was billed the NEXT DAY at 5:00P.M. Say it was late and after hours. I was charge an extra $60. I trusted the owner would take care of it like he said he would. When I asked the owner about it I got no response about the extra and the late charge. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS GUY AGAIN!! If I could give negative stars I would. I arrived at 9:47 AM for a 10:00 AM reservation. The owner decided not to open for business on this day, so there was no one on-site to assist me. When I finally was able to reach the owner and given a code to access the liftgate on the truck the key was not left to open/drive the truck. I was told I would need to contact U-Haul customer service to see about getting another truck assigned to me. After holding for 40 minutes on my initial call the call was dropped. After calling back and being on hold for 50 minutes, I was able to speak with someone who was incredibly helpful and got me a new truck assigned. In summary, I spent 3 hours and 3 minutes at this location, and an hour and 50 minutes on the phone with customer service before finally be able to begin my move. I tried other locations for trucks, but could not find another in the area. I even called the store owner back while being on hold for so long to see if anyone could simply come to the store and give me the truck key. He indicated there was nothing he could do. I guess I was an inconvenience to him. Suffice it to say, I would use a horse and buggy before I would use this location and I would encourage others to do the same.Sean R.
They place was closed even thought it posted it was open. I returned truck 2 hours early but was charged for an extra day. I could not get the picture to upload to mobil app. I called the store and then owner Curtis said he would take care of it. He did not and it was rudely told to take it up with uhaul. I even had a extra 1/4 of a tank of gas in it is was not credited for. I tried calling and then online chat never got a answer. Very disappointed in Hauls practices. Was not aware of the extra cost it would be...my elderly parents were the ones who rented and in my opinion were taken for too much...they were told 79 dollars which was paid that day...after returning van another 69 dollars was charged to their card...we only had it for 4 hrs total start to finish 24 miles and paid 143.00!! Will never use uhaul again!!!Larry H.
Please confirm that your locations are open. This was the second location that I went to for my reservation and it was closed. The truck that I was supply to use had no keys for me to pick up as a truck share. I then had to use another truck. I was delayed nearly two and a half hours. No compensation was offered at all for these issues. I was very displeased.Ronald H.
I would like a full refund because that truck was disgusting! Maybe for future reference make sure there isn't any trash on the floor boards and that the tuck doesn't reek of Marijuana! Maybe make sure the truck mechanically isn't vibrating or shaking and that the brakes actually work properly!Laurie H.

Unmanned location. Owner was not a very good communicator This was not our original pick up location. Without notification the owner at Ztire cancelled our reservation overnight so that he could use the U Haul equipment for personal use. Rented for one day (Friday September 25th to Saturday September 26), but charged for three days not one! I was told to take the key Thursday night at 5pm so he wouldn't have to bring it to me in the morning at 10 when I picked the truck up. I sai but I only want the truck one day and he looked at me funny like he was surprised. Do I said Zfriday at 10am to Saturday at 10am only and he said I owe you a refund. I said pay me when I return the truck. He said okay. I asked if additional fees and he said no. I signed his iPad for the contract but never got to read it. He said it would be in the email. I didn't find it in the email until recently. I was Owed a refund and didn't get it. Told to give cash of 150.00 when it was less. Told I went 40.00 over the 150.00 but It was paid for by Curtis, and I owed nothing. I questioned him twice on that and asked what were the miles. He said I do not know. I said can you text or email me and he said yes. Then I got an email saying I owed 60.00 more with a late fee of 30.00 if I didn't pay it but I was owed 56.06 refund. Curtis told me the tank was half full and to return it half full when it was really on full so I returned it on full. That was odd. The truck had egg shells on the floor and I didn't eat eggs!!! My friend rode with me and helped me clean the truck. She was surprised at the egg shells. I filled up the truck one mile from from the drop off so that gas station has me on camera and the Gus' Hardware that shares the Uhaul parking lot has me returning the truck at 5:47am Saturday on their cameras. I have those who heard him say bring 150.00 cash and proof I didn't pick the truck up until approximately 12noon Friday. Do I had the truck 16hrs total and not three days as Curtis charged me. I rent U-Haul 15to20 days per year andI rate this rental as the worst. There was no human interaction other than by phone. You wanted a picture of my license ...I don' t have that capability. You wanted self check-in ...I did not have access to that . You charged me a $20.00 fee for after hours check-in...I left the trailer at 2:00pm and called the phone number provided. These are just the highlights. I believe that I need to make other arrangements if this a reflection of future operations.CLYDE H.

Person was not there when got to the place of business. Then I had to want to come back and plus you charged me $20.00 dollars for him to do self check in!!! When the application wouldn't let me do self check in because my picture was not taken at time I was checking it in because I had to wait for him to get the location. I took the picture at 11:22am when I drop the truck and car dolly off. I'm not happy with his service at all and to be charged for him checking me in just worng!!!!!!!Sheri H.

First time I have used 24/7 Rideshare service. Good experience. Truck was not as clean as I would expect with cab ok, but had dried up spilled drink in cup holders and down the cover below cup holders. In this time of covid19, I expected the cab to be sanitized or at least wiped down with Clorox wipes. The cargo box was not swept out. Truck had very minimal damage on the lower plastic guard behind RR wheel house. Attempted to upload picture, with no success. Truck rode great and no issues to report. I filled truck up, so I left it with more fuel than when I picked it up and wiped cab down with Clorox wipes to sanitize for next customer. *Uhaul should require sanitizing and provide Clorox wipes. I would recommend this location and use them again.Donald H.
The location opens at 10am per uhaul site and sign on their door. I get there and nobody is there. After calling a few numbers I get a call back to complete rental and use trailer. Got back a few hours later to drop trailer off and still closed. Thank you uhaul for online dropoff!!! Could have been a fluke at the store but I didn't see a sign indicating why they weren't open. Possible they were sick or had some family emergency? I just didn't appreciate that it cost me a half hour waiting around.Eari S.

The guy that I dealt with today was not a great experience at all. I had reserved my trailer last night and I was waiting for 30 minutes at the most before he noticed I was waiting on a trailer. Explained to him that I had already paid for the trailer. Instead he worked with the other customer. When I tried to go in and ask if I could just get my trailer number since I had already paid for it. He responded with â€œyou'll have to wait, I'm with a customerâ€, he also said, â€œthere are other places to rent fromâ€(after I had explained that I had already paid at this location for pick up). Sat there for another 30-45 minutes. Then I finally got my trailer number but by that point I was just already fed up.Kali R.
The location advertised as open with posted hours, their doors were locked during attempted pick up and drop off. GPS on mobile devices is incorrect so using mobil check in and pick up is nearly impossible, it took half a day with multiple uhaul service reps to complete the pickup. Then, I was over charged. My reservation was changed during my pick up, while I'm actually in the process of picking it up and extra charges were added. After dropping it off 2 hours before my reservation ended, and during business hours when no employee is in sight, they charge me another $20 because they weren't there to complete the check in even after I completed it myself with my smart phone on sight. Now, our family is financially hurting because of being over charged. I even took pictures of when I returned the truck. Really terrible experience with uhaul.Benny P.

The rental here did not work out. They did not set up the rental properly, and I had to drive to Belton, a neighboring town, after spending a significant amount on the phone with a Representative, making me late to meet our movers. THEN the truck was filthy, and I was promised a $50 credit for my trouble which is yet not reflected on my bill and I see I was also charged a cleaning fee!!! I scheduled a different location to pick up my U-Haul. They contacted me the day before and told me there was not going to be a truck available and rescheduled my location. I scheduled a furniture dolly. One was not provided for me and they did not have one available unless I drive 20+ miles to a different location to pick one up. I did not have the necessary equipment to move my furniture. In the future, I would recommend when they change anything to an order that they make sure everything the customer ordered is ready and available as scheduled.Victor H.

Have someone at store to complete transactions instead of doing it online and over phone so you know exactly what you are being charged for. Also it would be nice if all trucks had enough gas for the day instead of being on empty when you first get in. Otherwise everything was great.kim P.
