Abhorrent customer service! I parked my car in front parking space. Though I am handicap with sign, there was no designated space. After filling out paperwork I was told to move my car to make room for Midas customers. It was pouring rain, I said there is no place else. Todd porter said just move it, deplorable. I moved 2 spaces. On return I was overcharged for insurance and I asked manager if he makes money from uhaul customers, he said not much. I said well we are paying customers!! So you advertise that it's $19.95 to rent a truck for in-town use. The final bill is $57.11? This has to be illegal or unethical at best. Why do you charge mileage on top of a rental rate without notifying the person in advance? Never mind that I pay for the used gas too. Oh and the rental tax charge is fun. And then you give your vehicle to a company who is staffed by employees that don't care, have no answers, offer no information and are incredibly rude.pat A.

I have rented U-Haul trucks my whole life with no problem until now. The location was in a Midas shop, a half mile from the regular U-Haul location, which is where I went first, waited 30â€ minute only to find out it was a half mile away. the clerk said he was that he only worked there 2 weeks and never checked out a U-Haul truck, he was rude and said I was stressing him out I got in the truck the tire was low. I will make sure I never have to rent from that Midas shop again, you should make it clear on line about the location, it said nothing about a Midas shop. What a horrible experienceHelen P.

The on line check out site for returning the truck after hours would not accept ANY of the photos of the fuel gauge or the odometer. Must have taken 20. Other than that, pretty decent.Genny M.

Make certain that vehicles have 4 safe, reliable tires along with a clean bed upon pickup that won't attract bees. One of the tires was worn to the tread wear bar and we were planning on driving 500 miles.debbie S.

When I pick the truck up the man at the muffler shop told me about a thorn that was stuck in the front left tire and that I should take it over to U-Haul dealership to get it repaired. I didn't feel this was my responsibility since I didn't put the thorn in the tire. The truck was extremely dirty including a can of soup that rolled out from underneath the seat as I was stepping on the brake. Also I noticed the contract was incorrect on mileage, only by one mile. Although it wasn't that big of a deal comma I did point out to the gentleman. He said he would change it. When I check the vehicle back in my ending contract had an extra mile on it again. So basically I was charged for two extra miles that I didn't put on the truck.Robert D.
