All went well after much help via phone calls and Camp Bow Wow staff. The app didn't work well so I didn't get a code to open the key box. Perhaps a computer kiosk at the siteâ€¦questioning if cell service was part of the problem as well.Ronald H.

The pick up process was unclear. I chose the option to pick up in person. No one was at the location. I ended up having to call the service desk to check in online because my account wouldn't update and give me the option to pick up. In addition, I purchased a $20.00 dolly and it was not in the truck.Matt R.

Employees were very kind and accommodating but the system is not nearly as smooth as what we've experienced elsewhere when we've accessed it completely by the app. The location was different than where we expected and then for some reason a vehicle was not assigned to our days old, confirmed reservation and it took a long time to get it taken care of. We were able to do the return through the app though, so that was faster.Randy D.

The location wasn't ready for me when I arrived. The person who handles uhauls was offsite and had to communicate with another employee over the phone. That took 20-30 minutes. Once I got the keys the truck indicated a tire problem which I made the employee aware of but the employee dismissed it as the other truck on the lot has the same light and it was likely due to the cold weather. Planned to keep the truck for two days but decided to return early as I didn't feel safe driving the truck.Philip R.

The truck was in great shape. The location however was terrible. It is a dog facility and smelled terribly like wet, stinky dog and dog urine and feces. There was constant barking, yelping, and howling throughout the entire conversations with the representative at the desk. I will use U Haul again but never at that location. UHaul should not do business with other businesses that are that terribly poor in health conditions for people.Christopher W.

I often use Uhaul and this experience has completely turned me off of using them in the future. It did not have to do with the location, rather the fact that it is advertised as $19.95, and now my invoice ends up being $107 for 6 hours of use. Another huge issue is the driver's side mirror was broken, so it just spun off the hinges the entire time we drove, making our drive through a very busy city very dangerous. The tire pressure light was on upon pick up - so whoever inspected this vehicle before we picked it up did not do a good job. Had we known the mirror was so busted we never would have driven it off the lot. I have tried to contact customer service multiple times, but never get through both on the phone and on online chatting. I have had over an hour wait times and still have heard nothing back. All in all, the experience was not good and I am very disappointed in what we got for the outrageous price we paid.Alysa A.

I don't believe this is an issue with Camp Bow Wow but truly a U-Haul issue. I had to sit and wait for over an hour to get my truck as the U-Haul system never sent me what I needed to check-in my rental. God bless the woman working that morning as she jumped thru hoops to make it happen at the desk but I lost a full hour of my rental time. ALSO, I got charged $14 extra for "Smart Move" because it automatically added it when she processed it on her end. Once again, not the venue's fault. I also was on hold with the 1-800 U-Haul customer support for 42 minutes. When my estimated wait time was supposed to be 5-10 minutes. When I finally spoke with an agent, she said she couldn't be of any help and ended the call. I'm beyond frustrated with this experienceSeth P.

I was very disappointed in this location. When we got to the location the worker stated it was all online to do pickup. I never had an online number and when I called UHaul they stated my truck was a at the counter pick up. The customer service rep helped me get in touch with the field manager (Russell) who was awesome and helped me. He had to call the store manager to have them get me the keys. Turned out that there was only ONE worker who could give out the Uhaul keys and was not there that day. I felt the business we were picking up from was not prepared and it delayed our move by an hour and half. They were not helpful and didn't seem to care at all. The customer service through UHaul was great and I appreciate that.Madelyn M.

The app is terrible and waiting for verification is unnecessary. That should have been done in advance of the rental day, it did nothing but cause delays which were made worse by the keys not being in the drop box. The app would not upload pictures properly and I had to completely abandon using the app during the return after 3 attempts at the process.Matt M.

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE -- I requested a specific location because I was familiar them and was pleased with their service. It was further from my home then other locations but it was important enough that I was willing to do this. I was relocated to a different facility due to truck availability (oddly it was about 1/2 mile from my preferred location). I checked in online and assumed everything was ready to go. Upon arrival, I discovered that it was a self service location. I don't recall being made aware of this when I spoke with the agent the evening before my rental.. I entered the business (Dog Daycare) to find no one available. I waited approx 5min before someone came to the counter and was met with "its those boxes out there, use your App". Because I was unaware of the self service requirement I did not have the app downloaded and was unaware of the procedures needed (DL photos upload (which I had already done during online check-in), needing to provide a verification contact, completing a vehicle damage assessment, etc). I would have gladly reviewed the procedures had I known about it. I downloaded the app in the parking lot and tried to access my truck to no avail. I elected to call the 800 number, was disconnected the first time after waiting 8-10 min, tried again and reached someone after another 8-10 min wait, and was then offered a video to guide me through the process (Seriously -- that is absurd, particularly after explaining my situation and sitting in my car). The person on the phone did walk me through the process and I was able to access the keys and complete the transaction. In the end -- I would suggest that this process took nearly an hour. I would also say that it would have been no big deal, had I been told that it was a self service location and been offered some basic guidance on what to expect. Moving day is stressful enough without wasting precious time and adding frustration at the very start of the day. I want to stress that this is a UHaul system problem and not a human one -- everyone that I talked to or interacted with was largely professional and tried to help where they could. In the end -- I received my truck and the overall experience was fine (clean truck, mechanical and condition were fine, people were fine, etc). UHaul simply disappointed me by changing my location and not fully communicating what experience I was to expect. I have been a long term customer and the only reason I will even consider using your services again is that the remainder of my experience was smooth and generally what I expected from UHaul. I know that you can do better -- I have experience with that.Jonathan S.
