I am disappointed with the Airline Blvd, Portsmouth,VA location. That's where my original pickup was supposed to be. I was booked for a trailer where the person dropping off the trailer never showed. While two other trailers were sitting in the yard, I was told those were only for local only. I asked why couldn't one of those become a one way and when the original trailer for me become a local, I was told that couldn't happen. Then the run around started looking for a one way trailer. I was sent to Norfolk who supposedly had a trailer and that clerk said no one had contacted her and their one way was broken. Then I was sent to the Chesapeake location where the gentleman helped me.LLOYDLEE B.

I was charged for items I did not use. I denied SafeMove was told â€œthese will be adjusted off when the bill comes through as the system will not let me remove them right nowâ€ but was charged an extra $48.00 for equipment/coverage I didn't not have/want.Ryan W.

Could not understand salesperson, no place to sit, I was sent from one place to another and if I would have known how disgusting that place was, I would have rented from another place altogether. 2 parking spots at a building that doesn't have the company name on it in a rundown area with no one there to greet you during normal business hours does not give you confidence in the security of dropping off with this companyROBERT DAVID R.
Let me start off by saying that the employee that was working during my rental on Sunday was amazing. However, the location itself is misnamed/labeled online; it's not called Camelot Computer, but instead is White's Upholstery at the 1911 Sparrow Rd address. I specifically selected an in-store pick up (due to being shown the store hours of 9a-7p for Sundays online) so I could avoid dealing with an app and such. Instead, I arrive at the misnamed location to find it closed and no trucks on location. The employee called me promptly at my reservation time of 9am to tell me I can do the pick up on my mobile device and that the truck is parked on a lot a little back up the street. Luckily I saw the truck when I pulled in and had someone else with me to move my car, or else this could have been problematic. Once I got to the truck, there were instances of damage that weren't reported on the previous drop off. The front bumper had a scuff that I documented and the windshield had a large chip that I missed at first and then later sent a picture to the store. The back of the truck was full of dirt and grasses and the cab had mud all over the floor. Either this location needs to be closed on Sundays or have people check on the trucks in between reservations to verify condition. Luckily for me, the employee (whose name I totally missed in my long day ugh so sorry) was absolutely amazing and walked me through each step flawlessly. He was patient with my struggles and had an excellent demeanor.Meredith H.

Your prices of $0.89 a mile is too high I don't think that's the average price for mileage I get $0.55 a mile to go to work why should renting a truck being indifferentRuby W.
I'm not sure what went wrong. But my truck wasn't available where I originally went. Uhaul sent me 6 miles and 25 minutes out of my way. The uhaul app wouldn't let me do my pick up at the new place, so I had to call. Uhaul (another 25 minutes talking to three different people and getting hung up on). Camelot computer wasn't open for business on this Friday morning at ten in the morning, so no one was there to actually help me. Eventually I talked to someone from Camelot computer on the phone, to get the code. Luckily for me this person who was at the airport and hadn't left on her flight yet. She gave me the code to get my keys. and someone from the phone must have reset the pick up info on my phone so I was able to get set. BUT this cost me an hour to an hour and a half. between the phone and the app and waiting on a call back and being on hold and having to go so far out of the way in the wrong direction. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. This ended up causing me to lose my help that I had moving at the designated time. NEW HELP COST ME AN ADDITIONAL $175 and I lost another hour and a half of my time. Instead of getting home at seven o'clock on Friday night, I got home at eleven. Me and my father had been up almost twenty hours. I have used uhaul many times in the past, but I am so discouraged by the poor service THAT I WILL PROBABLY NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN BECAUSE OF ALL THE TIME AND MONEY THIS EXPERIENCE COST ME. So discouraging. Somewhere along the line, when you haul changed my location they raised my price around $20? I was unable to pull up my original uhaul contract because you guys changed it, when you changed my location. So I'm not sure how much extra I ended up paying. But that $20 was nothing compared to the almost $200 I had to pay because I lost the original moving and loading workers I had.Stephen P.
