The trailers running lights did not work(one did one didn't), we had to stop moving early because we could not drive with it in the dark. I reported this they said thanks for letting us know but did not offer a discount for not being able to use it the 24 hours we paid for.Callie H.
This is the 2nd time the Truck Share 24/7 feature did not work for us. This location does not have adequate 5g cell coverage to log in to U-Haul and get the truck. The key was also locked in a lockbox, and we did not receive the combination beforehand to access the key. So we had to wait until the location opened to access the key. Despite not completing the pick-up process, U-Haul still went ahead and determined I had picked up the truck even though I hadn't completed the process or accessed the key. I was also not able to take photos of the vehicle to document its preexisting condition or confirm the odometer mileage beforehand. We had to return 2 hours later when the location opened to get the key, which set me back on our day. U-Haul customer service was of no help and iterated to me that I had received the combo to access the keyâ€"even though I had not. As for the condition of the vehicle, the 9' cargo van we rented had an enormous crack running from one end of the windshield to the other. The Change Engine Oil light and Faulty Tire Sensor lights were on.BENJAMIN D.

I dropo off the trailer this morning at the Douglas, Az office on 1st street, and they were very friendly and a nice office and equipment.Mike H.
We checked in, were quoted a certain price and an additional tax of approximately $20 was added on, even though I rented it from Montana where there is no tax. The quote did NOT include the tax. As well, no one helped us hook up the trailer to our car. We had to lift it ourselves onto the hitch and hook everything on, which I know IS ILLEGAL! No one came to see if we did it correctly, sent us on our way after signing papers. BAD SERVICE. ILLEGAL!CATHY B.

Trailer lights didn't work. Trailer brakes didn't work. Made notes of it, but appears no one outside of that location cared enough to take a look at what the Price location inputted. So the trailer was set to be rented out at the drop off location the same day as drop off to another customer, even though the problems provide an unsafe use for smaller towing vehicles and night time driving. Ended up having to add a few hours to my rental, which still cost me $20 plus taxes, since I couldn't safely drive at night.Ted B.
Well, a big bolt that was holding the axel together fell out and we almost died and had to wait 3 hours for U-Haul roadside assistance to arrive and fabricate a part. It was the most miserable night of my life and it was SO scary.Kady B.

I was given a very defective truck with the alignment off and front tire system undrivable. I about died driving that truck to the point I've been mentally affected in driving another Uhaul truck. The mechanic that roadside assistant called did not pass it to drive. it wasn't repairable. Please give me refund to see a psychiatrist from the trama i sustained driving a defective truck.JUAN M.

Requested an appliance dolly to move a fridge with the trailer and when I showed up to pick it up they said they had two earlier but both were rented out. This should have been communicated to us ahead of time so we could prepare, instead we had a runaround trying to find a dolly.Kevin J.

I turned the Trailer Reservation # 92091639 in a day early, on a Sunday and nobody was there. I expected that. I dropped the paperwork into the after hours slot and wrote a thank you on the paperwork. Now I've been charged an additional 29.95 for what I don't know. I've tried numerous calls to the place and they won't answer and won't return a message asking why this charge has been added to my credit card. What a way to run a business!BRADFORD M.
The Uhaul rental facility needs to update the description of where they hide the keys for the truck. If it wasn't for an employee being there early I would not have found them.Matthew B.

The truck had extensive damage to it. The roof leaked water all over my valuables. The shocks are blown out and the steering pump is bad. The truck over all is very unsafe to drive. Also the windshield water fluid was either frozen or all gone so impossible to clean the windshield. The inside of the cab was dirty. The instructions for key pickup is wrong. Had to call customer service , and the nice lady said she gets calls for this location all the time and told me where the keys actually were. Last the Uhaul app would not all check in. Had to call again and she manually checked me in. Over all worse experience I have ever had, and we have moved 15 times in 25 years.Andrew S.

It took an hour and a half to pick up the keys to our truck because they were hidden in the hose and not a lock box. We ended up on 3 different phone calls, on hold for over 45 minutes. We were told several times to look for 2 black lock boxes that did not exist. No instructions meant that nobody knew where the keys were.Nathanael S.

The driver side widow crack was broken so very difficult to open and close the window. This seems like a basic upkeep item. I roll the window down almost every time I backed up so this was frustrating.Wayne C.

This is not a full blow operation for U-Haul. In fairness they were just learning, but it was not as smooth as the pickup location. They didn't have a storage unit to use for a month like I was told, the didn't buy back boxes as I was told. They finally agreed to have someone unhook the trailer from the truck.
