I had to drive to another city for pickup rather than the location that I asked for which was a half a mile from my house because Uhaul's problem became mine. There was NO attempt to accomodate or assist. Had to wait 45 minutes for service. Was not given a contract or safety pamphlet. Had to load dolley myself. Truck windows and mirrors were filthy. Only a quarter tank of gas in truck. This site should not be a Uhaul site, no service, no personalization. It seemed as if I was interrupting just being there.Michael B.
Terrible experience. The person at the desk was self admittedly not trained to help with rentals. The customer service rep I talked to after blamed my issues on me and argued with me over my experience. I spent half an hour calling to explain the situation because of long hold times. I wasn't able to complete my move and the whole experience was overall just terrible.Gabriel B.

I am not a frequent renter of Moving Trucks and recent technological advances (Smart Phones) had left me somewhat bewildered. Phone app didn't work for pickup. Had to check-in inside store and the only way he could rent to me was if I bought insurance I never contracted for and didn't want. When I returned the truck different employee didn't know how to check me in and your website was down. So I left not knowing what I was charged. Worse than poor service.Jon H.

Reservation was for 8:00 am but the location does not open til 9:00, was not informed of this in the e-mail. So we had to rearrange our schedule to come back .tracy R.
I reserved a box truck several days in advance but when I arrived at location, U-Haul system had me re do the whole thing and would not process in a timely manner. It cost me almost an extra 90 min lost moving time past my original pick up time. This resulted me not getting the truck back in time which cost me an additional day of rental expense. The clerk was helpful but again the U-Haul system was not operating correctly. I thought the whole point of a reservation was to have everything ready to go at time of pickup.Antonio M.
Easy and convenient for me. One thing to note, Westside drive is multi-lane, making it super easy to get in and out of there in a big truck. THIS IS THE LOCATION TO RENT FROM on the west side or southern Rio Rancho. My dealings with Uhaul in the past was they had an older fleet. The truck I rented was pretty new, started first flick and ran like a champ. Easy to deal with dealer and nice trucks, I will be moving again in a year....I'll be back. (Be sure to use their booking site for movers! It made my life so much easier, all I had to do was drive! Moving is stressful enough, get some help it's cheap and worth EVERY penny! I had a Wonderful experience from start to finish! Thanks.Donald G.

Agent (Leo) would benefit from customer experience training. He was rude, unprofessional, argumentative, and presented with a 'you are interfering with my work' attitude. Sunvisor on truck was broken and hung down into drivers view. Window shade was torn, tattered, and stained. Truck cab smelled dirty and was not clean.Jean C.

I compared my experience to the service I received on southern bl Rio Rancho, NM. It was not the same. I was given contracts to sign and I told him I didn't have my glasses and he didn't offer to explain what I was signing. I was given the key and was not asked to inspect the vehicle. I took pictures of truck all around. The truck was dirty inside and out, the drivers sunviser was broken, the truck needed gas and the sun shield was falling apart. I brought these things to his attention and he said I didn't check the truck out so I have to talk to who did. He said you should get an email in about an hour. I asked him if he was going to check the truck he said I will have my asst do that since she left a lot undoneSandra P.

Overall my experience was very pleasant, I was assisted by Cabezon making the reservation and the rental fee was very affordable. However, I did have a couple of issues with the rental truck (a 10-footer). My first issue was the side mirrors were impossible for me to adjust because the mirror holders seemed to have only 2 settings - either pushed too far out, or pulled too far in. I was not successful trying to move the actual mirrors themselves, and they would not budge. My second issue was that I could not find the lever to push the drivers seat back a bit further and I am very tall. Despite these minor issues, I will recommend Cabezon Storage and the UHaul Rental in the future.Chaz C.

Well was set to pick up at one location. Was told a voicemail was left but I don't have a voicemail option. Truck wasn't there. Had to drive to a different location that didn't take cash. Had to drive to the bank. Was now forced to pay for 7 miles when original place was across the street from my complex. Moving from one side to the other should have required less than 1 mile. Now paid for 7 miles and had to put gas in truck. Not happy with my experience at all. They lady and the place we got it at were nice though. Have used uhaul NUMEROUS times in the past. Probably won't for our move in March.Kenny E.

The van we rented was dirty inside, still had cigarette butts in the ashtray, and the seat-belt buzzer continued to ring. With both seat-belts fastened, the buzzer still rang intermittently. Also noticed that there was zero (0) oil life left on the display. I'm glad it did not break down on us.Jacob Q.

This place has rude people working there. I didn't get my U-Haul truck because they gave it to another customer because I was 10 minutes late. I wasn't notified either. It was pretty muddy and they had the trucks parked in the muddy area. I was a little frustrated when I went to pull the truck out, my sandal and foot were covered in mud. They could have pulled the truck out for the customer. Other than that all was good and staff friendlyJenifer S.
The truck was clean and the people friendly, but the truck sounded like the transmission was about to fall out. I even changed my intended route because I wasn't sure it would handle the steep flyover from that exit. Also, equipment that I had requested was not, and I was told is never, available from that location. It definitely made my move more difficult.ROSALEA B.

rented online a truck and an appliance dolly, Did not even think about dolly until I had left uhaul location and I called and was told they did not rent that equipment, I asked her if she could find me another uhaul location at Carlisle and Central in Albuquerque where I was headed ( I was driving and trying to talk to her on cell) and I was told they do not do that. I had to find another uhaul on my own, and go and pick up an appliance dolly, The location at 6401 Central was great and got my dolly for me and did not charge me as a courtesy for the mix up on the reservation. They were great there. Because of the delay getting a dolly I had to call and tell the Westside location I was running about 20 minutes late to return the truck, I was told it was my fault because I did not pick up the truck right at 9 am, this is not the case, that truck would have been back by 1 had I gotten a dolly from Westside like I reserved. She was rude on the phone told me it was my fault and to hurry up because the truck was rented again at 1:15pm, this was only 15 minutes after I was scheduled to have the truck back. 15 minutes certainly not enough time to even check the truck before the next rental. And she hung up on me. I will never return to this location, 4601 Central Ave location was friendly and helpful and so was the Rio Rancho Blvd location in RIo Rancho where I returned the dolly, but the Westside location and Kristy lost any repeat business from me. I will not recommend their location for a storage place or a uhaul and I will never go back there. She was rude and unhelpful, and on a side note the truck was parked in the mud when we arrived, they really should park truck on pavement in inclement weather, the inside of your trucks would stay a lot cleaner. I think that your Cabazon Storage location needs retrained on Uhaul rentals and customer service, also I would adjust your online reservation system so that people can not reserve a dolly if they do not have any at this location.HAROLD R.
This is a storage facility and not a full-service U-Haul truck rental location. They did not have handcarts or dollys. They had a very limited supply of boxes. I had to go to a full-service location that was less than 1 mile away to get other needed items. Why didn't the U-Haul website send me to the full-service location in the first place.BRUNO L.

The staff had no idea what they were doing. They did not know how to hook up the trailer. They did not have what was needed to hook up the lights. They sent me off the lot with no lights to another "full service" U-haul location to assist with the lights. That dealer hooked up the lights and reconnected the trailer because the place I rented from did it wrong. When I took the trailer back, they did not know how to get the trailer off my truck. They also couldn't figure out how to print my receipt. After 45 minutes waiting they told me they would have to email the receipt. I did not origionally reserve at this location. My location of choice did not have the trailer so my reservation was transferred to this pawn shop. They should Never be allowed to represent U-haul. If I had been in an accident with the way they sent me off the lot with no lights and the trailer hooked up wrong, there would have been a major law suit!RICHARD B.
