Simple preventative maintenance on your rental equipment would be a good start. Had a tire blow out and when I got to my destination it appeared another was ready to blow

I would recommend, however, I was not told that no one would be there when I returned the truck. I had to download the app and waste my time, which is valuable to me, if not anyone else, taking numerous photos and answering questions. I did not know where to leave the key until the landlord of the building happened to come by. The process to reserve and pick up was fine but drop off ruined it.

It was an impossible location to find when we picked up the truck. Without any clues, we finally found it as the back of the block inside some sort of repair shop. Very poor location to find. The location at which we were told we could pick up the truck was changed and the different location was much less convenient.

Improvements should include making sure the interior of the cab is clean and does not have a sticky floor. Making sure the windshield is clean would be helpful as well. Thanks.

I didn’t receive the furniture pads as requested and charged for. The checkin through cell phone was a complete nightmare and I was over charged by $104.00 for the rental. I had to night drop the truck. The drop box is located in a very dark part of the location and I was frightened when I had to drop the keys, as someone could have been waiting in that area to rob me. Drop box needs to be moved.

I would say they should go to a place of business that is open on fridays and saturday mornings to take care of any issues the customer might have. My trailor tire had separation in it's tread from the first mile. I purchased a new tire in Grants NM.

Vet your third party venders better. Was at the location for 45 minutes trying to check in. Then the map was so poorly designed that finding the lock box was nearly impossible. When we finally found it the lock was on the wrong box and the code didn't work.

The online check-in and check-out process is a nightmare it took forever.. according to the reviews many are having this problem with U-Haul website.

The only thing I did not like was, at the end when I went to return the vehicle I didn’t realize that uhaul sent a text that stated I had to be at the dealership and press the return button on the text to ensure it was returned on time. Then the text went on to say I’d be charge an extra $20 if I didn’t do this. I had to drive back at night to press the locator on the text!

Was called day b4 and told to return to diff location across town. Lady said Uhaul drop off location would cover mileage and gas. Returned just below full line and was charged $28+. That’s nine gallons of gas. Ridiculous and lied to. Will contact BBB of AZ

I was charged $25 for not folding 6 moving blankets. I was not informed prior to renting the truck that this was a requirement. They charged it as a " Cleaning Fee" which is considered a service in AZ. They also charged me a sales tax on the "Cleaning Service" which is a direct violation of AZ state law.

Tank was half full at pickup. Inside of truck was dirty and not wiped down. Had to wait 35 minutes for someone who knew how to process my uhaul order get to work. Got an appliance dolley when I ordered a regular one.

The gaz indicator was below 7/8, and the contract said 7/8. Unfortunately I realized as I was already on my way. I was at my 3rd day of a 4 day move and I was not going to go back to show to the manager. I took a picture if that can be used as a proof. I put 5 gallons of gas to refill to the same level I got it. But the manager charged me for 2 gallons of gas. Really! Not very honest this u-haul company. You milk ever penny you can out of us. Terrible company. I wish there was real competition.

I dropped my truck off on Saturday and Monday morning it as never checked in, which obviously was very concerning. I had to drop off in person because my phone was dead.However, after I contacted the location, the owner was extremely helpful and friendly.

Some one from UHaul corporate asked me to drop the truck here instead of Carefree office and said I could bring the truck in with 1/2 tank instead of filling it up as a concession to get me to drive 34 miles.The local guy apparently didn't get the message as he charged me for a full tank! Not good!

Convenient location but having a location that I needed to drop off the uhaul at being closed on the day of my drop off is a little pointless. Having to play hide and seek with the keys to make sure I don't get charged for extra time ensuring I leave it before the specified time was a bit annoying. Otherwise the guys were cool and fairly responsive when I got there.

We booked our rental pickup and drop off online. We decided that we wanted to change our drop off location when we were at CB auto repair. Chuck, our rental agent told us that we did not need to change our drop off location, but we could drop it off anywhere. He did not have time to help us with this issue. So, after driving for 24 hours and encountering many snowstorms and closed roads, we decided we wanted to drop off our rental closer to home. When we tried to drop off our rental A) the business DJ's repair in Enterprise, OR was not open even though their posted hours said they were B) we called uhaul and they told us it would be a $1700 change location fee. WHAT! This is ridiculous. NEVER USING UHAUL AGAIN!
