When I went to request a truck rental at this location the person basically blew me off and told me to do it all online and that the computer would only let them see reservations 3 days in advance and I was trying to reserve a truck for the following week. The cust service on my return was much better and the representative was very helpful.

We were not told that you needed to use your phone to return the U-Haul, otherwise we would be charged extra. I could have used my phone if I had known, but I had already turned the keys in to the dropbox and was unable to take the necessary pictures inside.

I rented a trailer for 12 hours. I was told it would be appx $30 The return time was listed as 4AM, obviously I'm not going to return a trailer at 4AM. So I returned it around 7:45 AM, still before the store opened (I have pictures of the trailer as I dropped it off which also show the time to back this up), and I was still charged for two full days, plus a $20 after hours fee. None of these extra fees were explained to me. So I paid almost $90 for a trailer I was told would be around $30 (which included insurance). I picked it up around 4PM and dropped it off before the store opened the following day - apparently that's worth almost $90?

We used a 15 foot Truck. One of the door cables was broken and made it difficult to open and close when loading/unloading. The employee I spoke to on the phone a few hours before picking up the uhaul was very rude and kept talking over me. I eventually gave up trying to ask questions because I couldn't get a word in. After returning the uhaul, we were DOUBLE charged, resulting in my bank account going negative. My fiancée and I had a very tight budget for our moving weekend and were counting on our wrongfully taken money for gas to get to work that week. After having to call the Charlotte location to inform them of the issue and then them telling me they can't help me and to call uhaul, I called uhaul and they said they couldn't help me either and the charlotte location needed to handle it. I called Charlotte location back and they still said they couldn't help me. So I was being tossed back and forth each side telling me the other can help. I finally spoke with an employee at the charlotte location named Brandon who promised he would get our money refunded to us that very same night. It's 48 hours later and still no money. And I had to miss work today because I couldn't fill up my gas tank to get there because we were double charged. This was an extremely frustrating experience. We will not use uhaul again at any point. Giving a refund altogether would be the better thing to do at this point.

It would be wonderful if there was a deposit on equipment rather than renting it. Moving is expensive already and we didn't rent done equipment because funds were tight. That's all. The men that helped with my U-Haul orders were fantastic. ¡Gracias!

Worst drop off experience. Told me to park the truck where I got it. Was annoyed that he had to walk across the parking lot to get the milage when he could have checked it out before I parked it.

The opening store employee called the cops on me, for standing outside waiting for the hardware store to open,I had to take a bus to so I could pick up the truck and I couldn't help getting there early, over all, I would rent again, just not from byrun hardware store.i would have been on my way with the truck as soon as I got there but because the lock was frozen to get the keys, I had to go in which ment I had to wait for the hardware store to open.i would recommend renting a U-Haul, just not from byrun hardware store. I don't know if there is anything you can do to improve, because really it is on the store, but still though you should know how the store treated me.

Was charged $160.00 prior to renting for a deposit. I still have not received it back. 60 minute hold times on UHaul #. Also was way overcharged and have not been able to speak to anyone.

Front left headlight only shown about 20ft. in front of the vehicle. Front right headlight shown about 30ft. in front of the vehicle but was point towards the shoulder of the road. Very, very poor visibility at night. Front of the vehicle is loose in its suspension and shakes. Vehicle was clean.

Update photos that are taken before leaving rental location, right away. So when return vehicle ( same day ) , no questioning the level of fuel there was & condition of vehicle, when left location. Just a small concern.

Not the location I requested to pick up from. Uhaul changed my location late the night before causing me to drive 40 minutes to pick up, return hike to load then 90 minutes to deliver in that same direction. When I called the location for options I was simply told there was none. No apologies or anything.

I called in on sat got a price when i went on sunday they changed th price the employee didnt know what he was doing told me i couldnt use a tow dolly with my chevy 1500 4 wheel drive finally figured it out after 45 minutes finally got to leave. Charged me for insurance an didnt tell me about it. This was a bunch of bull i will never go back there they certainly didnt know what they were doing. Rip off

I need to know how to get a refund on the dolly. It was not in the truck and I paid for it. Also it reeked of pot. It must have moved a large quanity of it. However, we did get quite the laugh from it.

All employees need to be trained on the Uhaul procedures. I was not properly instructed on return procedures by either Uhaul that I dealt with on this rental. My return process was a 2 day, aggravating and frustrating ordeal for me. Finally somebody at the hardware store made some calls to Uhaul and got my return taken care of and I appreciate him for that. He was very patient, professional and helpful but the damage had already been done.

I completed the online check in to expedite pick up. Guy working the counter had no idea I had a reservation, took about 40 minutes to get me through the check out, said I'd need to wait a while for him to find someone to hook up the trailer and was a bit argumentative when I told him I could hook it up. Yes - women CAN hook up trailers. And haul them. And back them up too.

This location just started with u haul so the check in process was a bit long but they were learning and had the district mgr on the phone helping them navigate the computer. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I will go back as well as recommend them
