Having experienced issues witht the pickup I was prepared for a multi-step drop-off. In this case, your app worked well and I was on my way quickly. The location was extremely well marked making it easy to find my parking space and the key drop.Jed G.

The dolly was left loose in the back of the truck rather than secured by the bracket built in to the truck which meant it rolled and banged around when the truck was empty (when I first picked it up). I was asked to submit my driver's license before I picked up the rental and again when I picked up the rental. Why? The truck was not available at my preferred pick up location and I had to call to have the location switch to one that was half the distance of the one chosen for me. I do appreciate the mileage being reduced to 89 cents a mile.Lester E.

I blew a tire and waited over 7 hours to locate a new one. The individual helping me was very kind but I had to go an hour out of my way to pick up a new one And an hour and a half out of my way to return it郎Joseph M.

Access to the after hours lock boxes can be improved. The padlocks are very troublesome and difficult to unlock. Fortunately, the site manager showed up early and was able to troubleshoot the padlock so I wasn't stuck very long waiting to pick up my rental.Brian B.

Buxton's is fantastic. The problem we have is with U-Haul itself. You make a reservation for a certain location and a certain vehicle, and then you get a call from some random U-Haul employee telling you the reservation was changed to another location farther away, with a different vehicle. The reason stated was that the pickup truck wasn't available at Buxton's, so we would have to go somewhere else for a cargo van. When we said we didn't want a reservation at the new location, he said there were no vans at Buxton's, so he switched it to a 10' at Buxton's, for a later time slot I did not want. Then Buxton's called to confirm the reservation, and they told me they did in fact have a van, and at the time we wanted, which was easier for this drive than a 10'. U-Haul: get it together! The one NEGATIVE in my experience was that I was told to "top off" or fill the tank of the pick-up I rented or there would be punitive penalties. I drove the truck 29 miles and returned it in two hours. On filling it before returning it, the TRUCK TOOK OVER FIVE GALLONS OF GAS!. CLEARLY IT WAS NOT FULL WHEN I RENTED IT.George L.

Charging per mile AND expecting to refill used up gas when returning vehicle is excessive. Do either one, not BOTH. Also, why wouldn't you accept own insurance and charge extra? A 20 mile trip for a pickup can cost you $65, despite the "advertised" $19.99 - that is obviously designed to get you in the door!Murthy D.

maybe have a better rate for people thtat need the vehicle at 7 am and they dont open that early so i got hit with an additional day because I had to pick up before 4:00 pm so i got hit with a three day rental because there is not late drop off.RIVER S.

Customer service was excellent. The U-haul experience prior to getting to Buxton was TERRIBLE. The reservation site was a disaster, logging in multiple times, online check in multiple times. You should clearly let people know the difference between local rentals and one-way. It would have saved us a lot of time and frustration.Ronald C.

Buttons boxes is an outstanding location. Love them and the people that work there. However I can't say the same for U-Haul national organization. They are ridiculous to deal with. I went online to try to book a trailer and the website set me up with one to pick up in a different location. When I went to the location the trailer wasn't available. This is just plain stupid. U-Haul needs to overhaul its website system . Zero stars for u-haul. Ridiculousâ€¦.William D.

I was called at 1230pm the exact time I was supposed to pick up and told they were about to cancel my reservation because they couldn't reach me. The original location I chose to rent from had a broken down truck so I had to go 40 miles round trip further and it cost me more in mileage, gas and time - horrible customer service all around uhaul!Jeanne S.
