The actual Cargo van was brand new. Alot of the features in the car was new, the camera to see the back of the van was great. The contact on site did not know how to use the light feature in the vehicle. For safety reasons I think she should learn. The actual location was excellent Easy to get too. Being in the city & convenient locations becomes a critical component in picking a company. Now the actual rep was a completely different experience. I felt she was interested in doing as much ‘minimal work‘ on the transaction as possible. I’ve been primarily working with enterprise over the last 5 years but needed this cargo van to move a mattress. So I’m familiar with what a rental experience should look like. At least I think I did. This experience did not come close. She complained quite a bit about previous customers. I brought the car from the back to the front - main street (Danforth) to check it out. I would have assumed she should check everything before I get in the vehicle But didn’t. She kept insisting not to dirty the vehicle several times, even though I told her I’m renting it to move mattress don’t see it getting that dirty. I bright plenty of sheets to lay on the floor of the cargo van. Anyhow off I went. on my return I parked the car out back & walk to the front. Assuming she would go out back to check out the , condition of the vehicle, mileage, gas level she kept asking me to do that. i insisted she check the vehicle to make sure everything was ok but she Kept saying she’s too busy, pointing to her packages in front of her. This in my books is a concern. Is it not customary for the rep to check the vehicle upon return? Anyhow I literally went back around took a picture for her and came back. she had yet another question so I just decided to go out back and bring the vehicle to the front so she can check it out. Again she was still not going out to check the vehicle herself. Once I gave her all the information she wanted me to move the vehicle out back AGAIN. I had enough and At the. EE.UU. least she could do this part of the job. This checkout took 40 extra minutes of my time & she still muttered that I did not complete the check out. i guess cause she had to a husky move the vehicle & do some work herself. I have only chosen to elaborate on my experience to give you and details example of my experience. It’s important for uhaul to understand how the reps they select are treating their customers. I should also mention the number associated with this location doesn’t even mention uhaul in the voice recording. You should call yourself? And check it out. I thought I reached the wrong number. Anyhow, have a great day but please check in with your uhaul reps to ensure the quality of the experience play a role. Carol 647-774-6226

The vehicle was absolutely disgusting - it had a putrid sour rancid smell.... was extremely dirty inside....cab was exceedingly dirty and seats covered in animal hair....such a shame for a relatively brand new vehicle....spent half a day washing it at a power wash after pick up....had to remove the cargo mat & washed it with power spray and soap brushed it....ended up removing it and used van without it....change oil light activated 0% life left on oil...checked oil level was within range....no wiper fluid whatsoever....poured entire bottle in....gas level was not accurate upon pick up...only an 1/8 of at check in but it was logged in as a 1/4 tank !! Filled the tank for $110 after washing the entire van inside and out (cab and cargo area)....at return the van had just shy of half tank left....needless to say I could not judge the amount required to return it with an 1/8 of tank so I left more gas in it than I should have ....vendor would not compensate me for extra gas....vendor did deduct $100 for power wash cleaning....though the power wash alone was $46.00 innchange - so in no way did that reimburse me for the cleaning supplies and time (3 hours) lost to labor to clean it inside and out, plus the cargo mat, and vacuuming the seats covered in animal hair !! The vehicle was unusable in the state it was in and the rest of the rental day was spent cleaning it with 2 people. My schedule was ruined as I had to delay my plans while the vehicle dried out that afternoon and the following day - could not be loaded before it dried out. I returned the vehicle in extremely clean condition to which the vendor commented and agreed it was very clean now. Parking area for vehicle is ridiculous...a very tight spot !! Very disappointed !! Overall this was the WORST experience I EVER had with UHAUL EQUIPMENT....and I have rented plenty from Uhaul !! Will never go back there....was deplorable and not what a customer should have to go through or experience from a professional rental company. Uhaul seriously ought to decommission this vendor given the company brand is being severly compromised and tarnished...the Uhaul standard expected is not their top priority. Celeste Butt

It had nothing to do with the rental outlet, but the customer who had the van ahead of me dropped off the vehicle late (cutting into my reservation). There was little time between their drop off and my pickup, and I think what they had transported involved farming or gardening equipment because the van smelled heavily of manure/compost and was muddy inside.

Dealer has other business than just U-Haul rental. Having little patience goes long way. Dealer was excellent.

The van smelled like feces. There was a large piece of duct tape on the side of it and part of the top rear brake light plastic kept popping off when we drove. The smell made us feel really sick, I won't be renting with Uhaul again.

This was a terrible experience. There was no explanation as to where the van was located - it said “parking lot” which I finally found down the alley behind the store. It’s a convenience store! ??? Then I couldn’t find the keys and when I clicked the question mark, it told me to “go inside” but the place was closed?? I called customer service and she was awful, not helpful at all. Said she cancelled the reservation but it was not cancelled, it remained active. Terrible experience.

U-Haul messed up my reservation by sending me to a wrong pickup location and then a customer service representative advised they had changed my reservation location however never informed me. When I arrived at Busy Bee’s location she also advised that U-Haul had not informed her that their was a reservation, however she accommodated me and searched for the reservation online. The lady at the store waited at the store till 9pm as I arrived just at 9pm due to traffic, she was so lovely and made the experience very smooth.

Everything was very good. The paperwork takes a little while and I didn't realize I was supposed to do things on my iPhone so we had to wait while she sorted that out, but she was very nice and super helpful.

You don't give enough options for feedback. The truck I rented had over 100000 miles on it and did the job. Can that be clean and well maintained? I really just needed a local rental in and around Newport and I had reserved it with 3 days advanced notice. I ended up having to have someone driving me almost 40 miles to pick it up in Hardwick and was forced by time constraints to make it a one way rental. I estimate I had to fork over $75 more than I would have for a local rental and I lost 2 hours of time.

My only gripe against UHAUL is their Web Site Needs to be Updated ,it is difficult to navigate,keeps dropping entry's and not at all compatable with internet technology available today.As for the Rental Equipt.itself I was pleased with condition,age,and simplicity of operation

Location for pickup was changed on day of pickup and I had to travel an extra 50 miles to retrieve unit. I would no use this service if another was available.

First have the truck available closer than a 3 hour round trip, second have the trucks tires serviced so that when I'm driving down the highway I don't blow a tire and somehow manage to not roll the fully loaded haul. I mentioned these tires when I picked the truck up. This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. I'm lucky to be alive never mind that truck.

The individual at the location could not get the computer to work and it took almost an hour to get out. They were very appologetic but it was very frustrating having to wait around while they attempted to figure out how to use the computer.

What does not make any sense, is the ENVIROMENT fee. It is just stupid... Why charging us with a fee that has nothing to do with the service received? What is the benefit of this fee? WHO GETS THE MONEY.

I was not told about the fuel fill up service fee and i am unhappy that i was charged an additional $30.00 for the fee. I asked repeatedly about the fuel policy and was not advised that there was a policy, only that I would be charge for the fuel used.
