The front (hitching area) of the tow dolly I rented was a bit difficult to lift from the ground, rather heavy. Perhaps installing a swing away trailer stand-jack so that I might back my vehicle directly beneath the hitch area and lower tow dolly onto my trailer ball instead of utilizing brute muscle and force?

I selected this location so that I wouldn’t have to do online check in. Instead, they did not even open that day, paper notice on door. No indication where to put trailer, just picked a place. Not impressed at all.

In the back of the truck it says you can get 25 dollars off if brought back clean. My truck was brought back very clean and they didn't give me the 25 dollars off my bill. Can I ask why?

I wish there was a scan and go. I scan my reservation, and the person just gets the equipment and keys, and we go. Also refund for the time. If we return it by a certain time we should get some money back.

So, Burtons was great, however, they were not our original pickup loaction, My original location was in Columbia KY, however they were closed and I was told that I would be receiving a $50.00 uhaul guarantee since it was closed, I have yet to get that, also the agebt that told me I would get that, failed to mention that Burtons did not open until 12 pm so when I got there it was also closed, called in again and the agent I got that time informed me of when it opened. I lost 2 hours of time, had to go to another city and use a bigger truck which of course was more in gas. I used the chat service tonight to find out about the guarantee and was told Brian Hill had tried to contact me about this, however, I have no missed calls nor voicemails and I verified my # with the chat agent and the number you have is correct. So Burtons will get an A from me, but Uhaul customer service and your guarantee get a big F for failing to keep your word.

Those trailers are heavy, about killed myself trying to pick it up to put in the hitch. Parking the tongues on gravel would allow a person to hook up easier without straining themselves. Perhaps supplying blocks for the lifting mechanism would help.

I was supposed to be able to drop off at a location down the road from me in Allendale , Greensburg KY- which would have saved me 30 miles on both my vehicle and rental plus gas. Since one one stays open at locations, impossible to deal with .

Don't do mobile check in here, it's a mile down the road. And don't rely on the key being there. Go during open hours! The truck had dog poop in the back...

I’ve rented from this location several times. Overall, very pleased with them. Quick and easy transactions. This time, the trailer was parked on soft ground and it was very hard to hitch it up by myself.

I had a one way rental to this location and they charged me an extra day because they didn’t have it on some “manifest”. That’s should be sorted out with the company not just slapping an extra charge on the CUSTOMER.

My whole move got ruined because the app wouldn't work and the employee wouldn't come in until 3 pm.... had to reschedule a full week later... would not recommend

I had some very serious issues arise, including packing the uhaul alone, and also my sister accidentally took my uhaul key with her and she live a hour away, they were understanding and I am so great full.

Poor service, some of the equipment I ordered wasn’t available once I got there, the truck only had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up, and I paid for 12 hours because that’s all it would allow. (Which left it being retuned after hours no matter what.) I returned it with the same amount of gas ( literally stopped at gas station 5 mins before dropping truck off.) I also returned it 5 hours later and didn’t even keep it the whole 12. Then got my final bill…. I was charged almost $60 extra dollars for “gas”. They tried saying it was returned on 1/8 of a tank instead of 1/4. (Which isn’t true, but even IF it was, how does 1/8 a tank of gas cost $60?) So basically my 5 hour rental ended up costing $140 plus the additional $20 I had spent refilling up with gas to begin with. When I complained their only comment was, did you take a picture? NO I didn’t because I thought they was a respectable and trustworthy company! I never imagined they would find a way to screw customers out of money. Take pictures or use budget instead!!!

But I will not be recommending Uhaul to anyone and I will be reporting you to the better business bureau. I drove an hour and a half to pick my U-Haul up and there was not one available. When the site I was picking my U-Haul up at called customer service they said sorry somebody would call me they didn’t have one available. That is unacceptable. They let me know if my U-Haul would not have been ready they would called me the night before at the time I placed my order. I called u-Haul back myself and they found a truck an hour and a half away. By the time I got the truck and back to my storage unit my hired movers had already left and I still had to pay them. So now I’m out double the gas and $400 for movers. I had to hire two people at the storage unit location for $100 to help me. So overall I’m out $550 for some thing that you guys could’ve controlled we chose not to. I rented a truck from you guys about two weeks ago also and had a very similar experience. Evidently didn’t learn my lesson that time. This is unacceptable for business to treat customers this way. When I asked for a refund on my truck or for you guys to pay for my neighbors they acted like I was being silly for asking for that and they would put a complaint in for me. Hopefully you guys will call me today and we can come to a resolution.
