The truck itself had a lot of play in the steering and the suspension is terrible. While I was hauling valuable items I worried about damage. The rental agent said they are not allowed to work on fixing the issues.PAUL L.

People have off days or moments. I understand. I mentioned that I tried to call and let them know I was running about fifteen minutes lates for the scheduled time for pick up and that their voice mail was full. I was told it wasn't full, they were just at lunch. Seemed impatient. I wasn't able to get the on phone ID transfer to work per their instructions. After it was done for me, on their phone, an additional step was clarified/left, from their instructions before. I even showed them what my phone was doing. I wasn't told that I'd get a text prompt to check things on the truck before leaving that I should perform or that my receipt and agreement would come to my email. I was just coldly given the key and told the numbers on the truck. I stood there for a couple minutes assuming there was more to do. I then asked and wasn't just told â€œno.â€ I thanked them as I left and got no reply. Not sure why they have this add on business to their main thing. Truck was dirty inside the cab, plus something had been spilled on the floor. My first and last rental here.JEFFREY L.

The location was accommodating to me as I was running late that day. But the location was VERY inconvenient for me. I chose a location much closer to home but the equipment was not available there. The equipment I requested was not available. I was upgraded at no cost, but it was not what I wanted.George B.

The vehicle's outside appearance could be improved. Just a power wash would help, I think. Just not as eye appealing as your competitor- Penske. Also, needs new wiper blades. Very streaky and squeaky.JOHN P.

The trucks are parked in a field behind a small repair shop. The truck I had was dirty and run down with a lot of damage, it did not run well. I absolutely would not rent from this location again and actually may not rent from UHaul again; I need another truck next week and will likely pay more for another company, I just don't think UHaul is the company it used to be. Additionally, the need to contact my friends and family early in the morning for â€œverificationâ€ is absolutely ridiculous. The truck share process is cumbersome and not customer friendly.Zachary M.

The owner of the store showed up about 40 minutes after the scheduled opening time (and about five-ten minutes after I and two other renters were scheduled to get trucks). He chuckled when I asked if he had the moving supply I purchased online and said â€œI only rent trucks.â€ He also left before his scheduled closing time. Extend the area that contains gravel so customer has an easier time getting into the truck without stepping in mudGEORGE B.
The date was moved up one day, which caused additional mileage and resulted in a higher total bill. We originally planned to travel directly to our destination and back, but since we had to pick up the vehicle one day earlier we had to drive it to a residence firs, which resulted in more miles charges.ROBERT H.

I was charged $12 for GAS; even though I did exactly what they requested which was returning the vehicle with the same amount of gas it had. Right before I returned it I stopped and put 2.5 gallons into the vehicle! I feel this fee was artificial and simply a easy money grab. I request that this money be returned to me.Roland G.

i understand i was not reserving a Mercedes or Lexus But the front end needed some work, the tires were worn badly and the transmission groaned (?) maybe it was my unfamiliarity with that vehicle. It was clean inside and ran/started well. Maybe it was up for service but, the vehicle could use some attention. Great customer service by Brandi, though. Very kind, very helpful, and got me my truck and on my way again quickly. We'll rent from them again.Mark L.

The only thing that would have made the experience better would have been a place to tie off the furniture , uhaul should be putting e rails in the trucks . I never understood how u haul could be in the moving buisness this many years and still have figured out how to install e rails or atleast a better way to tie off . Sure we are able to tie off but its not the most secure way when I'm timing off a 12,000 dollar cario cabinet . I want to be 100 % sure that the piece of furniture will not move . Come on . U haul . My original reservation was taken down incorrectly, my last name spelled wrong, my email was incorrect. When I called to fix the problem they could not provide me with the same size truck (even though it was their mistake) I was treated incredibly rude and given no explanation or apology for the mistake. Worst experience renting a truck and will probably prevent me from using ANY uhaul location again.Rocco G.

Make sure the inside of the trailer is clean and damaged lower corners are caulked so water entry is made more difficult. I understand how units get damaged. I don't understand why they are not clean and corners where damaged are not simply caulked from water.Allen D.

This is the second 15 ft truck I've rented and I will not hesitate to rent it again. One thing that was different between the two trucks was the second had a very annoying buzz or beep whenever I opened the drivers door with with or without keys in ignition. First truck did not have this. Recommend disabling or removing this from this truck.Michael B.

Woman at pickup was pleasant. When dropping off the truck the man that met me was very unpleasant, smoking and was not wearing a mask. All he said was where are the keys and when I said they were in the truck he stated you're all set and walked away. I had to wait for him to park the truck to ask about a receipt. He again was rude. Dropped truck off and was called 2 days later by Uhaul asking when we would be returning the truck. Never received anything stating charges or drop off. Turns out the 4 day rental we paid for and turned in early allowed the truck to be rented and they couldn't find the truck. So not only were we charged for 4 days but the truck was rented out during our timeNathan B.

They won't let you leave your car there and they're not customer service oriented at all apparently they don't offer no hands check in I had to wait till they open I complained to U-Haul and was told I would get a $25 credit but I never got it probably use another company next timePeter K.
