Clean interior windshield of front cab area, hard to see out. Not able to use phone to drop vehicle, called uhaul vancouver who assisted in closing acct., Make sure customers have 24 phone access to an agent for dropping off vehicle because location was closed. I prefer talking to a live agent.

I originally booked a truck at the Oak Street location but they only had a pick up truck and I wanted a van. When I was getting ready to pick up the truck, it was raining so i contacted U Haul (604 343 2045) to see if I could get a van. They found me a location and changed the reservation to the van. I also asked about getting a special rate since I was renting this truck to move some equipment for the Navy League youth program -( a not for profit charity) I asked to talk to the supervisor but the agent told me the supervisor would phone me back. I used the truck and had it back to the rental location before 3 PM but there was no phone call from the supervisor. I am still waiting for a call from the supervisor. I found the process for talking to the supervisor very frustrating. even worse, I found the agent at the first location indicated that I would need to contact the supervisor at the telephone number above. The process for getting a discount seems very disorganized. I have been successful in the past for getting a revised rate but now it seems the process is very complicated and not well know by the agents. I am not happy with the response from the supervisor. I score the company very low on the satisfaction scale. I would strongly recommend the establishment of a policy within the company that can be provided to NFP organization, so we know what we are to do first to get a special rate without going through all the hassle.

All uHaul trucks I've ever used were in subpar condition, this one included. Staff noted down the incorrect starting mileage and tried billing me double the mileage at the end. I had taken a dated picture of the odometer before leaving and they eventually adjusted after some back and forth.

Actually I booked online but the app is very bad. I could not get it online and almost gave up the reservation. The manager of this location is very helpful. She tried to locate a bigger truck to fit my purpose. She helped me register on counter instead. Excellent people in this location 

I have rented a truck. Had to return it earlier and my moving plans were all disrupted because right signal at the back was not working. Turns out it was a known issue reported before, yet they didn't fix it correctly, and still rented the truck to me putting my life into danger. Very upset, because before I had fairly decent experiences with Uhaul

The good: there was a couple of staff that was extremely kind and helpful. One lady actually loaded one of dollies for me. The vehicle was clean. But the best thing was how nice these two ladies were when I rented the vehicle. They were all so good about extending the rental for another day. So that was wonderful and appreciated. The bad: I wanted to pay with an American Express card. They said they had to call to authorize. So apparently they had said that my card was inactive. It was not. So I asked them to call again which they did. I showed one lady my card online to prove that it was active. I think at this point it was now the main supervisor. She asked if my card was cancelled or anything like that and I said no many times. I was starting to feel embarrassed because I know my card was fine. I was feeling like she didn't believe me. They don't take debit either which is ridiculous in this day and age. I finally called Amex myself and got someone online and actually handed them the phone. He told them my card was fine there was no problem with it for the rental purchase. At this point I'd have been there over an hour. One of the original ladies that helped me said that she could finish it when I came back and brought the rental back. But then this option didn't seem to come back. These ladies were very apologetic. Luckily I was able to find another card from a family member. I was there for almost an hour and a half. My rental was still at the initial time so I had to call so they could extend it. Upon my return of the rental oh, I was told that they had a general manager come in to assess the problem because it was a big problem. If you say you take a credit card then you should be able to use it. I would have thought that this manager would have contacted me but he did not. I also had Insurance added to my rental when I specifically said I did not want it as I have my own insurance. I was lucky I checked the invoice.

The two young women working the desk were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They explained to this relative know-nothing the ins and outs of what was going on and how everything would be discussed and decided, and were very friendly, besides (which, I feel the need to mention, is abso-fucking-lutely not a requirement of customer service, and I don't care who hears me say it). Ten outta ten, would recommend.

Customer service person entered mileage driven as miles, instead of kilometers. Original reading of 18928km, final reading of 18960km, = 32km driven. Was charged for 32 MILES instead, which is 52km, nearly double. Wrong name entered on invoice, both errors which they refused to correct.

The employees were great, however the process for renting a small dolly was painful. Apparently their system does not differentiate between a small dolly and a moving truck, so there was a lot of paperwork, filling out of info and providing my driver's license, etc. was very overkill. It look about 15 minutes for them to do it all, they were apologetic and I do not blame them at all - but this was a bad experience and entirely avoidable with a better system.
