Fill up the gas tank. It's pretty hard to judge 5/16 of a tank so I don't get charged for not putting gas back where I received it. How about just filling it up there's a gas station 150 yards away. Anyways I'm sure there getting free gas because I know I went over.JOE ROBERT S.

On a side note, the owner is a jerk. When I picked up the truck in the morning, apparently he walked by me and assumed I knew he was the owner of the place. I didn't even notice him, to be honest. Later in the afternoon when I was dropping the truck off, he walks over to me and says â€œI'll take the keys for the truckâ€ and I replied with â€œNo, I don't think so, who are youâ€ he replies with â€œI'm the owner, you saw me this morning!â€ I refused to give him the keys and I walked into the office. At that point I realized he was the owner, I handed him the keys to the truck, he snatched them from my hand and walked off. I'm not going to give the keys to someone I don't know, he wasn't wearing a name tag, he didn't look like he worked there. I feel as he should be grateful that I verified him before handing over his property (truck). Because of this incident, I'm lowering my star reviewJenia S.

Not only was the truck in the back and I couldn't pick it up with the online service, the employee that was there was rude. Truck broke down on the road, and had to fix it OURSELVES after roadside assistance!!! The truck was an unbelievable nightmare both coming and going from our location! Also, I was promised when I rented the truck, it was going to be 59 cents a mile when I returned it, however it was not applied. We will be renting trucks 3 more times this year and 18 times next year. Penske will appreciate the business.Teana B.

When somebody book a uhaul online that means they want convince and privacy. Respect that. Check the I.D with the confirmation and give them the darn truck. You have the card on file. You do the email and phone confirmation just charge the card on file and stop being a pain in the butt and an inconvenience. People don't walk around with credit cards and cash or carry purses when they moving a uhaul. They don't want to lose things. Your I D is all you have. We wear sweatpants and ripped shirts. No room for anything extra. MY LITTLE cousin had to use his debit card for my truck and it was terrible they have kids. I booked with my card online and confirmed with email and when they called. It was my uhaul I'm moving it's my credit card I confirmed I booked it all in my name. Why would he the secondary driver have to show my card at pick up. That's stupid.Kendell M.

I will be filing a complaint for non-compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and HIPAA. I was not offered a reasonable accommodation for my disability and I was asked to provide my medical history when I informed the gentleman at the counter of my need for accommodations. The other person at the counter begrudgingly helped me complete the return of my rental, however I had to call customer service to receive a closed out ticket for the rental truck after I left the location. This location does not represent the U-Haul brand that I have come to know and respect. The staff could definitely benefit from some additional training on how to deal with people with disabilities.GREGORY D.

I was driving a unsafe vehicle. The rear view mirror was taped on, that came off, so the mirror moves around and the driver cannot see at all. Hazard and a ticket if stopped. Nail in the tire which they knew about. Take pride in your vehicles and put money back into them to make them safe for your customers.CAVOY VONZA L.

Super easy and quick pick up electronically! Maybe the truck could be filled up more with gas vs 1/4 tank since regular folks don't have a ton of experiencing getting gas in a truck. Also it makes more sense to have the truck filled up so we don't have to waste time getting gas vs being able to just get the job done. Wed rather just pay uhaul to refill it but that's the only sorta improvement to suggest.Patrick S.

Much older van - don't get a copy of the contract with the ready reckoner for fuel so I put too much in - when returning you just give the key back they don't check while you're there so you don't know if they will try anything on. We are somewhat disappointed with the service we had so much running around because one office said equip was at one place when we got there they knew nothing about it, they sent us all over las vegas and still we did not get the equipment to pull our car, so we had to leave the car in las vegas because of all the lack od communication. The owner or employee seemed bothered by my presence. She was kind to other customers, but as soon as I walked in she immediately became aggressive in her tone towards me. I had questions regarding my rental and fees I was charged, for example, she charged me $19 for gas even though I only went 13 miles and I also put a gallon in. I asked her how many miles per gallon does the truck gets, that I returned, she said 5-8. So, I asked her to explain the $19 charge for fuel charges she became even more hostile and told me to contact the Uhaul customer care number and wouldn't supply me a receipt. I brought the truck back on what it was when I received it, but for some reason, she said I didn't. Maybe Uhaul doesn't like servicing blacks or feel we don't deserve to have charges explained to us, good customer experience or to be charged fairly.DWIGHT W.

I have rented from this location two times previous to my most recent truck rental. The first two times were wonderful. This time there's one thing I do have a complaint on. When I was given the truck on the day I reserved it, they told me oh by the way it's on empty. This is the first time ever have received a truck was completely on empty. I don't understand why they could not have filled the truck up. Whenever I've been told on how much gas is in it which is not always full but for me to return it at that level. If not then there will be a four dollar a gallon charge to replace the gas. So the person before me that rented this truck was supposedly charged for gas why didn't they go and fill it up. So I had to hurry up and fill it up before I reached my location on where I had to load the truck.This is a little bit of an inconvenience as I was on a time schedule to meet somebody at the loading spot. When renting a vehicle of any kind it should be ready to go.This was a little disappointingKEITH NOEL C.
The online check-in did not work. Once the driver's license images were taken, the spinning circle of death wouldn't stop. I tried to call the national number. They weren't home. The local 702 number worked and finally told me where I could get a truck the day before moving day. Very stressful!DANIEL CRAM W.

My U-Haul reservation was screwed up yesterday! You ultimately booked my reservation completely wrong, from incorrect pickup time at 8:00 at location that didn't open till 10am, and not having an adequate truck to make a cross-state line trip. Made a drive to a different location to find one! I didn't know that was a thing. Called customers service which was horrible, called for assistance and was blame for your online i'll algorithm!Nery G.
